What is the marching song you dislike to play or hear from other marching bands???
The song I dislike is Thriller from Michael Jackson,I like the original song,but as a marching song it is too loud and not a good song to use for competition.

We did Thriller for our homecoming parade last year...one of our tubas arranged it. It didn't sound horrible, but it would've been really bad on a field... xd

eye of the tigger. Its a good song, but after you hear it like 150 times (not lying) it starts to get old.

MezzoPianoX I despise with a burning passion "Hey baby" Dude, I don't think it's possible to be in a marching band unless you despise that song =P In my old marching band -before I moved- if you mentioned that song, you had better be able to run very very fast xd

omg my first marching song was supposed to be
a concert song and it was too old fashion i didnt like it.

Not technically a marching song, but we have a stands tune called apache. Wrost song in the history of ever. We are all playing the same exact thing.

@Clarinet: LOL Really? One of the seniors wanted to make that a stand tune. Never did get someone to write it out...
There's always the one song in the show that I absolutely hate by the end of the year. Freshman year was She's Not There, sophomore year was Yesterday, this past year was Habanera. I wonder what it'll be for senior year?
The only stand tune I dislike is unfortunately one my friend wrote out from popular request. I don't know why he wrote The Final Countdown in such a hard key, nor why he made it so high on his own instrument...to the point where it's painful even for the PLAYERS to listen to it. x_o

Don't let them Puff Fish, don't let them. It is terrible.
There is also a song in every show, like Puffer fish said.
Last year: Sweeet Child o' mine. Nice song, but for us clarients we were always doing runs which were annoying.
this year: Appalacian Springs episode 1. Never really memoized it completely, though i did have most of it. worst part was our drill for it. 4-5 across the field0.o
