Well, it's the crazy fangirls who use that improperly and such, so you probably heard it from one of them.

I personally really like Mana. He's a very pleasent person to be around.

Ah, well, you should probably go and look him up yourself to make your own conclusion. I personally think he's a fantastic musician and designer. Problem is, there are many of the fangirls and fanboys who make him out to be some kind of god, which turns a lot of people off who don't know Mana very well and what he's all about.

Mana doesn't refer to himself at "Mana-sama" it's really frowned on in Japanese society to use an honorific on yourself. It used by fans and general gothic lolitas.

I'm a Mana lover though, I'm a full on gothic lolita in and out so I guess it's a given. My sweet lolita bff doesn't really care for Mana but loves the AP designers and BtSSB designers.
So I guess it's prefrence to your style
