The Undying Spirit rp is based on the Anime series Tenjho Tenge and it gives us a bit of leyway in adding some majorly creative ideas to it. First off, their are three options to start off as and continue the rp as. Either become a Juken club member, which consists of Maya, Aya, Souichiro Nagi, Bob makihara and Takayanagi. Your enemies are those of the Student Council and any newbie show off.

You can also become a transfer student, pretty much doing as you please, not much respect and you have to be wary of pissing off the Juken club as well as the Student council.

Finally, you can also be a member of the Student Council. This usually means you run a sport club at the school, and u usually excel at moves associated with said sport. You pretty much have to do whatever the president asks and are on call all the time. Your enemies are the Juken club and any newbie punk who has enough skill.


You can change sides, but only from transfer student to juken or council, or from Juken to council.

Name: Mario Jose Salazar Rodriguez

Defining Characteristics: Wears glasses with transition lens and has a little bit of peach-fuzz that's supposed to be a goatee. Also wears a necklace of a biohazard sign upside-down, which he calls the "anti-hazard".

Fighting style: Tae Kwon Do of the Chung Do Kwan Discipline mixed with Kickboxing and Nindoryo (A form of Ninjitsu)

Background: A young kid from the small island of Puerto Rico, which is in the Caribbean, Mario is a new transfer student to Toujou Academy. Having always been facinated by Japan and its culture, Mario was able to get a once in a lifetime opportunity to go study in Japan for a year, before he went off to college. Little did he know that there were hidden reasons for his transfer. His assignment to this school, very far away from anything he's ever known, was due to his training in the Tae Kwon Do style. His discipline of Tae Kwon Do was called Chung Do Kwan, or the "Big Blue Wave". It was recognized as one of the most traditional and strict of all the styles. Apparently the Student Council wished to test this Korean martial art in their own turf and under their rules. Having just arrived to the school, Mario will already have his fair share of enemies.

What school did you come from and what school year are you in: Mario came from a high school called "Escuela Superior Dr. Santiago Veve Calzada" ("La Superior" for short). This school is based in the town of Fajardo, which is located in the island's eastern shore.

APPEARANCE: Takagami Cody is a dark skinned male (similar to Bob). He has shoulder length long silky black hair, usually kept in a ponytail. With long bangs that come down over his left eye & left side of his face. The bangs conceal the fact that he's wearing a eyepatch over his left eye (that will be revealed at a later date). Cody wears a traditional Japenese student uniform, except that he wears the jacket open. He also carries a custom crafted Katana, in a sheath on his back (think Mugen from Samurai Champloo), that he calls "MUGEN".

FIGHTING STYLE: TAKAGAMI SCHOOL OF MARTIAL ARTS- Cody was been taught 3 different types of martial arts, and combined them into 1 freeflowing style. CHINESE ACROBATICS. KUNG FU. AND A BUSHIDO SWORD STYLE HE CALLS "RYUU KYUU". (note: although he is very skilled, he has one major flaw....he is constantly haunted by an unknown memory from his past. the image of an uknown female defeating him in a fight long ago. this memory seems to bother him at the most uncomfortable times (i.e.-when he's in a fight). Causing him to break his concentration on his objective. Also, his anger alsos hinders his fighting ability a great deal.

BACKGROUND: "Cody is the adoptive son of Takagami Setsuka, absolute leader of the House of Takagami. The most powerful underworld syndicate in the known world (it is unknown what really happened to Cody's real parents). Lady Setsuka took a motherly liking to him (note: Setsuka can not bear children). Setsuka raised him as her son, and also trained him in all of his martial arts.
Cody is without a doubt dark, sadistic, cruel, manipulative, and devious. Takagami Cody doesn't play by anyone's rules. He'll use anything...or anyone to get what he wants. Although...no one knows what his motives are."

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: There are no previous records that indicate Cody has been a school recently. However, there are rumors that put Cody in Various parts of the world over the past few years. It is unknown why he was there...or his motives.
