Dronera:*walks slowly to a big button in the middle of a impossibly large, white hologram room* This is for those who remember this style of RPing. Pop in how ever you like, but if you come in with an attack indicate whose side you are on and miss the initial attack. I poke. *pushes the button, causing four large buildings to appear on the opposite walls of the room* Have fun. And don't die. Oh! And remember, Red team, Blue team, Green Team, and Black team. Your voice color must match your team.

Dronera: *is consumed by a black shadow and transports into the blue base* You know I hate it when ya do that, right? *Picks up the closest laser rifle and laser pistol* So, who are our enemies this time?

Zomara: I don't know. *picks up a laser sniper rife and a beam Scythe* We have to wait until one of the younger ones choose to show themselves.

"Me," Jolulu muttered, but it wasn't loud enough to carry to the others. She grinned self-satisfactorily; she had, after all, snuck into a training exercise when she was supposed to be learning Alitarean battle strategy, and no one had yet noticed. The slender, fawn-colored hacker lifted a beaker, into which she mixed two drops from a black vial. A mist billowed out of the concoction, and when it cleared not a second later, Jolulu was dappled with unnatural shadows and well-camouflaged. She chuckled and risked a glance across to the other buildings.

A black form lurked in a shadow. It peered through a window from one of the buildings, waiting for a target.

Aside from the two fighters in the blue base, who looked well-armed but currently engaged in combat, Jolulu saw the black team scientist who was fighting them. She scanned both buildings carefully, and a shadow moved. She looked again, but she couldn't tell if it was another keronjin. Jolulu frowned; thermal vision would require both eyes to function properly, making her head exposed as a target. She glanced at the battling trio, and decided that she should be alright for long enough to check the building. Jolulu dropped down again and withdrew a sky blue bottle from her belt pouch. A drop on each lens of her glasses spread to cover the entire lens. A moment later, the world turned blue and red. Jolulu checked that the other keronjins were still distracted, and stood up to see the building. She was well-camouflaged, but in standing her silhouette became distinguishable.

She thought she saw something in the distance but couldn't be sure. It was too far to see, even with her perfect vision. She assumed she had been spotted and at least wanted them to know she knew they were there as well. Cover blown, she propped a long ranged gun on the sill and pointed it at the spot she thought she saw something at. She pulled the trigger.

Jolulu became aware of two things in the instants before her glasses shattered from a projectile whistling right next to her head. One, there was another keronjin there, and two, it had seen her. Jolulu ducked under cover again, replacing her glasses with a spare pair from her pouch. She had also withdrawn several packets of powder which reacted with heat and pressure to produce very effective smoke bombs. Jolulu tossed one out into the open, luring the Black Team sniper's fire.

The keronjin reloaded her gun and pointed again.

Thick, billowing smoke suddenly covered the place where Jolulu was hiding. She grinned; someone must have shot the smoke bomb, as she expected. Jolulu wasted no time moving to a different spot in the building with a window and a sheltered spot where she could play with chemicals to mess with the other fighters. She lobbed another smoke bomb directly at the Black Team keronjin. If the long-range gun had an automatic aiming system, it would target the incoming projectile and thoroughly confuse her adversary.

She saw the bomb and let it hit the ground and go off. She had learned from her first mistake. This was either a chemical user, or someone who favored bombs. She swung her rifle over her back and reached for her favorite weapon. She propped it up in front of the window. It was a machine gun twice as big as she was. "You may not know this," she said aloud, even though she knew the other Keronjin couldn't hear her, "but they call me the trigger happy Keronjin. Here's why." She pulled the trigger and grinned maliciously as she tried to pick apart the bottom corner of the building with the bullets.

Jolulu saw the sniper's mouth moving as she --Jolulu could see now that it was a girl-- switched weapons. The sandy-colored keronjin tapped a button on the side of her glasses. "Zoom and enhance," she muttered, and in nanoseconds she could see a close enough view of the other keronjin's head to read her lips. "...Trigger happy keronjin, here's wh--aak!" Jolulu stopped translating aloud as the floor shook. She retreated to the back of the building, as the concoction she was thinking of using required precision to mix, and she couldn't do that with the Black Team fighter's bullets shaking the whole floor. As a distraction, Jolulu lobbed a couple smoke bombs at the other combatants. Once she got behind the building, the small scientist pulled several glowing vials, jars of powder, and a collapsible worktable from her multidimensional belt pouch. She had a few minutes at best before one of the bullets or another fighter found her, so she set to work with alacrity.

She stopped firing. She was out of bullets anyway. She packed up anything portable and lept out of the window. She landed on the ground and took off at a dead run towards her opponent.
