☼ "I come from the North, where there is no autumn..."
☼MettanereBurobel☼ ~Controlled by Metaburo Fanmaker
Name: Mettanere Burobel of the Natikama clan, supposedly of the Kahrpo Khang tribe. Usually called Meta by her equals and superiors, and Metaburo-sama by her underlings. Age/Level: Somewhere between 17 and 21, though she often acts more like an 85 year old.
Rank: Aspiring Overseer's Praisesinger and Head Cook, though she still needs to consult the lists of what rank she actually officially has. Lazy Mettanere, get back to WORK!
Skills by Path:
Spiritualism Sterilise, Create Holy Water, Create Holy Oil, Pray, Treat Minor Wounds Deflect, Circle of Salt, Levitation Reparation, Treat Wounds, Ruwach, Sanctuary, Protection, Cure, Mea Culpa
Spellcasting Light, Conjure water/food, Minor telekinesis, Minor knockback, Minor deflect Call the Wind, Trampoline, Cyclone, Dust Storm, Gust, Catch the Wind Mastered Aeromancy! Beginning Training: Austromancy Shroud
Combat None as of yet...
Inventory of Consumables Holy Water: 16 Holy Oil: 1
Character Rundown: Metaburo has never been a conventional person (well, snow leopard catgirl). Self-describing as a Glamorous Eccentric, she has a love of all things esoteric and arts/humanities geeky. Having eagerly taken part in the Overseer's gift-giving before the Holy War, Metaburo was quite eager to assist when it came time to fight. She was much more eager, however, to assist around camp and work her way in to the Overseer's inner circle of advisers before the war came to a close. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), she did not make it there before the end of the war and was thus stripped of her accrued powers at the end. She had indeed made it to be one of the Holy Clam's close Guardians, fanwhapping or spearwhacking all that came near to his Clamminess, but never actually got to achieve her dream of ridding him of his hat.
Skills: Her magical skills, at least during the war, were those she derives from/were powered by the Trident, and only very weakly from the chroniton crystal implanted in her left hand. Her powers mostly relate to wind and fans. Her signature move is the Fanwhap, wherein she whacks her opponent with a folded fan, often over the head. She also, towards the end of the war, regained the ability to call down small tornadoes. Her personal, standard-issue trident was been modified into a small glider, used for short-distance speed travel. (Inspired by Aang's staff-glider from Avatar: the Last Airbender.)
During the War: Meta, clawing her way to the top through faaaar too much latrine-building, eventually made it to being one of the Overseer's personal tent guards, but never quite made it inside the tent, if you catch my drift.
Halfway through, she joined the Nudist faction, and could be seen running around in little more than flowing pieces of white silk and her winter coat of fur. (Well, she did have her fan-belt, but that was about it)
Personality: In a few words: Mischievous, sensual, intelligent, artsy, cultured but at times Rabelaisian. Very fond of chocolate and a good chop of lamb. May be considered somewhat lazy at times, but her true potential is realized under extreme pressure. Also plays the harp, and did so frequently for the Overseer.
In TV Tropes terms, she's a Type 2 Tsundere, rather Brilliant but somewhat Lazy, a slight bit of a Teen Genius in her musicianship (only through hard work and frequent swearing at her harp), and has Music, Arts, and Writing Related Memetic Disorders. (She sees it, she wants to draw it, play it, or write about it!) Beware her Cloudcuckoolander moments!
How she got involved with the war: Too many possible spoilerzez! DX All I can tell you is this: She appeared on Gaia with Vayan about 8 months before the war. She incorporated herself into a tribe in the Durem mountains (sometimes called the Wilds), the Kharpo Khang tribe of the Snows. Vayan lived among the lower-mountain Forest tribe. When the war started up, they both jumped at the chance, seemingly almost anticipating it. They appeared to be searching for something, though neither of them are telling what it is.
Other: Is hiding a HELL of a lot behind those feline green eyes.
Theme Song Les Anesses Grises sur la Route d'El Azib
Revealed through the RPs Meta has had a great, close relationship with her mother throughout her short life, and continued until recently. Recent circumstances seem to have separated them by distance, though not a personal separation; Meta misses her mother deeply.
However, the opposite can be said for her relationship with her father. From what we know, he appears to be violent, unpredictable, and willing to maim. Little else is known about him except that Meta refers to him as "The b*****d."
Meta also seems to have a connection somewhere in her past to a felinid boy, auburn in overall coloring, and with chemical-green eyes. Little else is known of him also.
Who are these people lurking in her subconscious? How did she come to B.O.O.?
We may never know.

Wow. "In TVTropes terms..." I never thought I'd find a person who knew both who Ayn Rand is and what TVTropes is. You win.
Also, awesome character.

Okay, not to be too offensive, but I looked up the 9-12 Project. I lol'd So I made this list of principles based on it. ^_^ I'm surprised at the amount that overlaps.
I hereby declare this what my *character* lives by~. XD
An Irreverent Edition of Glenn Beck’s 9-12 Project Values for the Liberal Socialist Neo-Hippie Glamorous Eccentric:
1. America is okay. France is often better. ^_^ 2. I’m not sure if I believe in God and the Arts are the center of my life~. 3. I’ll try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday, even if it means admitting I ate those brownies for the Order party. 4. The family will rarely be “sacred”, though we can try for a definition of family. My current lover and I are the ultimate authority on what works for us, even if we’re the same gender in mind or body, within the realm of the moral. 5. If you break the law you pay the penalty, but sometimes the penalty may not be right, so do question if you think you’re right. However, Karma is blind, and no one is above it. 6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results. I have to work for my own happiness, and I’m gonna do it or die trying. 7. I work hard for my money and I’ll share it with who I want to, unless that guy that abandoned me last night at the corner took my wallet, too. Government can force me to be charitable if it damn well pleases, but I’ll protest all the way if it’s something I don’t like. (Like that idiotic PETA) 8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion. Heck, who cares about being un-American? Vive la France! 9. The government works for me, but I work for them too. It’s a cooperative operation here, so let’s listen on both sides! Vote, dangit! The 12 Values * Honesty, when it counts * Irreverence for stuff like this (I liek picklez!) * Hope for CHANGE, BABY * Thrift, but Exhorbitant Spending on Hill Tribes Silver Bangles * Flauntin’ whatcha got * Charity, somewhat indiscriminately * Sincerity when it counts, frivolity when you’re having fun * Moderation in Indian food (or you’ll be sorry) * Hard Work for those chocolates on the top shelf (get up off the beanbag, you!) * Courage against those scary Conservatives (No, the BIG HAIR!! RUN!!!) * Some lack of responsibility (keep your crap in that corner and I’ll

im sure its a near-acronym for something....what it means is beyond me as well
"Whoo! lv5 party!" Xeiashi shouts as he summons a ball of light to act as a disco ball" Using TK, he summons a piece of paper, a circular magnet, and an iPod. After a brief struggle with holding the paper in a cone, he makes a rudimentary speaker and it starts blasting the tunes of your choice.
[minor telekenisis]
((meh, its too boring to be IC unless its the official rp))
