Ah, the zoo. So many fond memories, and so few people to irritate and run into. It was nice not to be on edge and wary of the possible people that would force him to do things. He never thought he would be so irritated by the mere thought of actually helping someone out.
But, that wasn't why he was here. Relaxation was all he needed and with so few people wandering around looking at the animals, it wasn't surprising that he had chosen the zoo in the first place.
Cody sighed and leaned forward to rest his elbows on the railing that separated him from the fences that held the napping tigers. Their noon-day meal had been delivered to them not too long ago and with their bellies full, it seemed as if there was no true need for them to prowl around.
"Ugh, is every creature here napping or something?" he grumbled, almost wishing he had come later in the day when the animals were, for the most part, active.

Smiling, Tykier walked into the zoo. He just loved the place. Today was just a particular day, he didn't know why, but he was very glad to be there. Maybe it was the fact that it was a good day...
Ty was at the food kiosk, paying for his cheese pizza and water. For some reason, he felt the presence of another spawn. His ear feathers twitched at hearing the boy's voice. The young man turned around, to see his younger friend that he met at a pizza place. The boy didn't seem very happy.
After receiving his food, as well as an extra pizza, Ty walked up to the child, and smirked, "Hey, Cody, remember me?"

Cody jerked around, with his hands held in a protective stance as if he expected someone to attack him. Yet, the pre-teen didn't make any sort of move and visibly relaxed upon noticing it was merely another kid from the facility. "Huh?" he muttered, frowning a little. Remember him? What was he talking about? The spawn couldn't remember ever meeting someone with one eye and arm wings. Wait... No, he had but the name... that kept evading him and remained untouchable, a ghost of a memory.
"Sorta..." he finally said after a minute of deep thought. Damn it, why was his memory so full of holes that he couldn't remember anyone? "Can't place a name, but I remember we met at a pizza place," he answered irritably and shoved his hands into his pockets. "Been happening a lot, so don't feel bad," Cody added and glanced at the pizza. How in the world did he know he was hungry?

Tykier sighed. He looked at the spawn, and snickered, "You don't remember me, Little One?" He hands Cody the extra pizza, "Here... I remembered how you acted when you first had pizza, too... It was funny."
He gently smiled, "Well, why don't you tell me about what's going on..? And just for the record... It's Tykier..." He laughed, placing his left hand on the rails, leaned back, and taking a bite out of his pizza.

Cody merely growled at the laughter, accepting the pizza after a moment of consideration. "I do remember, just not well nor completely," the spawn replied sourly, angrily taking a bite out of the pizza as if it was the one that was causing his memory loss.
"What's bugging me? Not much outside of the usual," he replied after swallowing. Tykier... Yup, the name definitely matched with the face so that much was true. Why he couldn't remember in the first place was beyond him. Pausing for a moment in his troubled thinking, his eyes roamed over to Tykier, searching for anything of worth. Hey, he may be a friend but that didn't mean he couldn't somehow, say, take something and run off. Right? "What about you? Do anything unusual?" he asked, speaking slowly and carefully, still searching for any sort of glimmer or aura that would signal an object of value.

Luckily, Tykier didn't have anything on hand. He only wore his jeans, since he refused to go shopping for more clothes for his top. He took another bite out of his pizza, "Nothing, much. My little brother's wings are trying to fly. It's a bit funny to watch, but sometimes, they flap too much that it causes danger to me and Kyler." Tykier really didn't know that Cody met Kyler.

Drat. Nothing. Did everyone know about his awesome skills of thieving? Cody just sighed, only to start and stare at Tykier. The one person he hated more than hate itself, only because of the mere fact that he hung out with Edes more than he did, was Tykier's BROTHER?! Gritting his teeth and looking away, the spawn struggled not to lash out or do something rash. He figured his irritation and anger was written as plain as day across his face, but that didn't matter. Injuring Kyler meant he would have a spawn of wrath on his tail.
And he highly doubted he could do anything but run and hide with something like that on his tail. "Sounds... fun," he replied coldly, glaring at the nearby exhibit as if it was his source of irritation and anger. At least the little brat wasn't around. Ooh, that would be bad and a sure way to get himself kicked out of the zoo forever and his mother mad as hell at him. Now THERE was a scary thought.

Tykier sighed, "Ya know... I can see you staring at me out of the corner of my eye..." The man sensed something wrong with Cody, "Seriously... What's wrong... I'm trying to be a friend, here." He turned around to looked at the Greed spawn. Ty took another bite out of his pizza, and kept looking at Cody.

Cody crossed his arms, slowly moving his gaze over to look at Tykier. "Kyler... I don't like him," he replied, voice as cold as ice and none friendlier. He offered no explanation, no reason, or any sort of clue as to the origin of such hate and utter loathing. He supposed telling the older male would elicit a bout of laughter or something. But that... that brat hung out with Edes, which wasn't at all allowed in his books. Edes was his and his alone and no one was allowed to consider anything else without his permission.
"Should go see the rest of the animals," Cody continued, finishing his pizza in a few bites before stiffly standing. He didn't want to continue the subject of Kyler at all, figuring it would just lead to some sort of argument or massive stealing spree.

Tykier looked at Cody, "Why don't you like him?" He bit off another piece of pizza, and continued to look at the boy. Ty took his hand off of the railing, and placed it on his waist, "Ah, no... We got onto my little brother, and we're going to stay on my little brother. Why don't you like him?" The man seemed to glare at Cody.

Cody wrinkled his nose, eyes flashing darkly despite the bright sunlight. "I dislike your brother for reasons of my own. They do not concern your brother specifically. It is difficult to explain and understand to someone," he replied simply, edging around the reason and leaving the rest of his statement unsaid.
