[T-Day 2009] The Treachu Day Palace The Day Palace is owned our Ria High Teacher, Eiyah. It is fairly large but, not as gigantic as the Royal Palace. This particular place is decorated in white stone with frescoes of blue tiles. Throughout the palace there are stained glass windows that let light in and color the floors. If you want to go swimming in the lake that the palace overlooks go ahead and jump in! However, if you are going to go trekking around the mountain please, tell a servant or a teacher before you leave!

"Shayu! Look at this!"
A voice came from the distance as a teenage Treachu was positioned at a post of the gates of Day palace. The teenager was a male and he had a rather nice green hue on him. He wore some armor pads and in his hand he held a spear made of some metal that gave off a reflective green material. His yellow eyes turned to where the voice was coming from.
"Shayu! Shayu!" Then coming from the side of the wall leaped off a yellow hue-d Treachu female wearing a lovely purple robe on her. She landed on the ground in front of the male. Her tail swished about excitedly and her eyes looked bright. Shayu gave off a smile and used his right arm to scratch the back of his head.
"Hoilie... you shouldn't be talking to me... i'm on duty..." Shayu replied in a kind voice.
"Look though!" Hoilie cried out excitedly and pulled out a large green flower with a thick red stem. It was nearly the size of a normal humans hand, with a stem as thick as the neck of a wine bottle. "Its the Green Rose!" She exclaimed happily. "I will give it to the scaleless one that wins my heart!"
Shayu looked rather surprised and then touched on of the green roses petal. "By the lord Triunis, how on Treachu did you get one of these?"
"I had to pry it out of the jaws of one of the mountain creatures!" She kept her upbeat attitude and then showed her arm where a large scar ran down. It seemingly managed to even rip through her scales.
"Hoilie. Please be more careful for yourself... Why are you so persistent to have a Scaleless one for a husband?"
"Eiyah spoke of wondrous stories of some of the scaleless ones! She says that some are almost as strong as a Treachu! But the best feeling is to experience the texture of smooth skin!" She then let out a long sigh and placed two of her hands up to her cheeks.
"Your insane Hoilie." Shayu simply said and turned his gaze away. "Scaleless ones do not even live to a considerable fraction of our lives..."
"... your just unromantic Shayu!" Hoilie accused her friend and then crossed her arms. "You were always one of the weaker ones in our tribe, because you never take risks or anything new!" With that she lifted her snout upwards and away from Shayu and proceeded to walk off.
"..." Shayu said nothing but let out a long sigh.

Upon entering, Ginseku's face changed; He was very impressed with how well-detailed the main hall was. Everything shimmered and radiated in a golden glow. Probably because of all the gold. Austin wasn't as impressed; honestly, he had never taken metal to be all that appealing. He preferred hand-carved furniture and appreciated wood as a much more tasteful decorating material. But, not being from Kasyune, Austin kept his mouth shut; Perhaps they didn't have enough wood to make furniture and columns with. Perhaps they preferred stone because they were a reptilian race. Either way, the two of them walked slowly, taking in all of the details and wondering where they were supposed to head next.
Austin poked Ginseku with his suitcase after a moment. "Let's find out where the Dining hall is so i don't have to struggle lugging this heavy thing around."
Ginseku slapped Austin's cheek lightly. "How many tags did you put on?" "One for each limb. Why?" Ginseku sighed. "Take one off and put it on the case." "Which one?" "The arm you're carrying it with, idiot."
Austin grumbled for a second. Ginseku was right, but wtf. He pulled off his long-sleeved robe, and ripped the tag off of his right arm. He slapped it onto the Suitcase, and it began to float a few inches off of the ground. He pulled his robe back on, re-tying his belt. He picked up the case with a bit of effort, but only to move it, not carry it. So Austin's body tilted lightly to the right. But in this, it established a bit of fodder weight to keep him from floating off, and thus, he didn't have to put energy into staying earthbound anymore. Austin realized all of this instantly, and turned to Ginseku. "Dude." "What?" "Thanks." Ginseku grinned slightly, and joined Austin. "You're welcome.
They walked over to a large map, which had been posted for students, and found their desired path. They walked off swiftly, and kept their stride even to avoid floating upwards.

Ginseku returned to the map he'd encountered earlier, and took a look around to see if what the map said corresponded. "Hmm...Yeah, here we go. Boy's quarters..."
Austin trudged slowly into the palace, seeming exhausted and cold. "Gin...Ginnnnn...." Ginseku turned around to see who was calling him, when he saw Austin, ragged and worn. "God, where have you been? The beach? Do they even HAVE a beach?" Austin shook some sand out of his pants and slapped his robe limply, and bits of sand fell free. "Well, I was checking out the ruins when I got lost, because the wind stacked the sand in a different manner, and i couldn't tell how to get back. "Yeah? Well you look like you could use a shower. I found your stash, by the way. Nice choices." Austin blushed. Dude, WTF." "Let's go, drama queen, or do you like wet clothing?" Austin grumbled quietly for a moment, and followed Ginseku's lead towards the living quarters.

The two treachu never would have guessed the visitor they were about to receive. The visitor never would of guessed who was about to receive him either. In fact, the visitor never knew where he was about to be in this kind of instance. In the best of times the scene may be the outskirts of a town, or a nice tended grassy field, or even a wood-cutter's lodge but more often it was in a bustling town, the middle of nowhere, or over water. What is this event that seems to carry nothing but bag luck? Alyxr. While he is relatively a normal person he has the bad habit of randomly jumping through Time-Space and interrupting joyous, important, or, unfortunately, intimate moments in the most ungraceful ways possible. Like now.
Before entering the Time rift Alyx had been taking brunch with a lovely couple he'd met in Yugireton during a soccer scrimmage. The dining hall was small but nice for what the Timer was used to. Cutely painted walls of pink ribbon and little cats on the borders. Definitely the wife's choice, Alyxr had noted. He'd just finished his biscuit and gulped down his glass of tea when he realized quite suddenly that the two cups of tea he'd had prior needed to come out. He smiled to his hosts and excused himself to the bathroom. With as much haste as he could muster he unfastened his pants and began relieving himself into the porcelain throne. However he would not end his discharge in the baby-blue powder room.
With a gentle clap of air, Alyxr now stood atop a high wall bordering the gates to the Day Palace and was sending a projectile stream to the packed ground below. The man was given a moment to glance nonchalantly at his new surroundings before the new atmosphere took effect on his person. Rocks... rocks... more rocks. Oh buildings! and rocks... rocks... Alyx finished his business and was about to reach to draw his pants together when the protective bubble Time was nice enough to give him popped and the intense gravity took its toll. The first act gravity played was to pull down the unbuttoned pants the man had been too slow to grab and to snag said unbuttoned button on the tighty-whities and take them down too. Next it put it's oppressive weight on the man's muscles but to (perhaps) everyone's surprise he didn't fall from his perch nor hunch under the strain. He had a partially unpleasant expression on his face but he held his own and as an act of defiance placed his fists on his hips. So now he stood bare-assed in some new land where the sun was beginning to bake his johnson and he had urinated off an unusually high wall.
"Well s**t."
And he hadn't even taken into account that he couldn't get down...

".... the hell is that scent.." Shayu asked himself as he found himself catching the scent of something curious in the air. Hoilie didn't make it too far as she too caught the same scent. Both of them turned their snot upwards and only found a silhouette of a man surrounded by the glaring sun. The outline was standing defiantly butt naked. It was quite a glorious sight.
"Is that..." Shayu wondered squinting his eyes. "A SCALELESS ONE!!" Hoilie shouted out in excitement and then leapt upwards towards the wall. Shayu didn't even get a chance to tell her to wait up.
...
"Eek!" Hoilie exclaimed as she realized the man was completely nude and bearing his lower horn straight out. "re-retract that!" Hoilie exclaimed to the man. "Have you no dignity!" She covered up her eyes with her large reptilian hands. "I thought scaleless men were supposed to treat ladies with the upmost respect!"

Most men would probably flinch, fall, cower, or run when assaulted by a giant lizard person while they were at their most vulnerable but not Alyxr. He'd been thrown by time into some of the most unbelievable situations. He'd been hugged by angry polar bears, nearly castrated by a cattle butcher, almost had impromptu sex with a princess, fell on top of the Great Chalice of Cherzent during the Ritual of Zord, high-fived the Earthican pope (and stole his hat), been attacked by tentacle monsters, kissed by mermaids, and least of all popped into a doctors office and found the finger he'd been pointing at a silly child firmly planted in the rear of a man in a paper gown. Lizard people were nothing to be afraid of. But females... Moving rather sluggishly, Alyxr bent and grabbed the waistbands of his garments and hauled the seemingly 20 pound garments back up to his hips where he clasped and zipped them secure. "Terribly sorry." He really didn't have anything to say beyond a simple apology. He'd learned long ago that trying to explain himself or reason with the random races he came in contact with was futile and that doing so would land him in jail.
The time-jumper was hopeful though despite the imposing presence next to him. This girl-lizard was obviously familiar with his kind (thanks to the embarrassment at seeing a mostly naked man) which meant there might be other humans on the planet or they at least had some way of getting to a planet with humans. Alyx slowly turned toward the yellow-scaled creature and glanced her over. "Oh my!" He feigned surprise, putting one hand to his cheek. "What a beautiful robe you're wearing. I've never seen a more vibrant hue of purple in all my life. And that jewel about your neck. Exquisite!" Though the statement 'you catch more flies with honey than vinegar' is completely false the idea behind it was true enough.
Hoilie slowly dropped her hands from her eyes as the scaleless began to speak. He had such a sweet voice! If a treachu could blush this girl would have as the man serenaded her with compliments. Holie fidgeted with the folds in her robe, showing off her practice in the scaleless art of being 'bashful' by tilting her head down and glancing at her prospective mate from the corners of her eyes until he mentioned her life jewel. "Oh this?" She grabbed the cord binding it around her neck and held the amethyst up to the light. "This fell out of my forehead. It means I'm going to grow up to be very artistic and love deeply." Holie let out a thrum of delight at the thought of being partners with a scaleless one. "Holie! Come back!" The girl's fantasy was interrupted by the call of her grounded friend. "Oh frickles."
Alyxr blinked as the lizard explained that this large gem had just... popped... out of her head. He had to get over it though if he wanted to try and make it back to single G civilization. He was more concerned, though, that the lizard was responding almost too well to his flirtations. She was cooing and wiggling like a young school girl talking to her first crush. He was about to lay on more sweet talk when a much more powerful voice than his own called up from the base of he wall. The eyelash-batting would have to wait, he supposed. "A friend of yours?" Holie, who had glanced down at Shayu whipped her head back up and quickly shook it side to side. "No! Well, I mean, yes. He's my friend but that -that- kind of friend." She laughed uneasily, wondering if she'd some how insulted either the scaleless or Shayu. "Ah, I see. Well, not to be a bother, but do you think a strong elegant woman like yourself would be able to get me down from here?"
Hoilie almost burst with happiness. She was going to get to touch a scaleless! With an unbidden yelp from poor Alyx, Hoilie scooped him up in her long arms and jumped straight down from their precarious perch. The landing was much harder than the human had been expecting but the natural build of the treachus eased the impact on the living cargo. Hoilie hesitated a moment before putting the man down, earning a hopeless glance from her green counterpart. Once Alyxr was upright again he straightened his jacket and twisted his pants back to the front, eliciting an unexpected groan. His, er, package was a bit more tender from the brief exposure to intense light than he thought. Hoilie jumped on the opportunity to fawn over the man, running her hands over his chest and through his hair while repeatedly asking if he was ok or if she'd hurt him. "No no, dear, I'm fine." He batted her troublesome hands away before they accidentally shifted his pants again. He tugged his coat once more to right it when he caught the green lizards eye.
"Well lets have a look at you, then. Did you get separated from the other guests? Or is it customary for your kind to relieve yourselves in public?" Shayu shifted the spear in his hands, partially out of mild anger for the desecration to the building and partially out of jealousy. "Oh." Alyxr's eyes widened at the prospect of there being a visiting group of humans on the planet and better yet near by. "Yes, I got separated a while back. I'd climbed the wall to try and see if I could spot them." "And then didn't have the time to wait to get to a lavatory?" Alyxr shifted his weight and crossed his arms. "Yup." Shayu nodded, not believing the man one bit but was keen to get rid of him. "Right, then. Hoilie - " "Yes?" The yellow girl hopped to attention. She'd been looking the human over like she were about to eat him and wiggled her tail now in anticipation of what her friend might ask. Shayu let out a sigh. "Do you think you could take him to the Banquet Hall?" Hoilie let out that curious thrumming sound again, almost like a reptilian purr. Alyx caught the sad look that passed over the green one's face but said nothing of it. "Ok then. Off with you now. And stay out of trouble. Ask a guide if you need a bathroom next time." Just as he finished talking, Shayu's thin but powerful tail whipped out and smacked Alyx on the tuckus. The man hadn't been expecting the 'tap' and jumped. Well, jumped wasn't the right way to put it, more just straightened since he was having a hard time just keeping upright. "Lets go!" Not thinking, Hoilie picked Alyxr back up and trotted off toward the Banquet Hall.
As the pair disappeared into the distance, Shayu knelt to pick up the large green flower with the thick red stem off the ground.

The Grand Divine Council consisted of two parts. The Council of Lords consisted of the first 310 stellar entities that, at the birth of the first universes, found their way into the space between universes -- the Multiverse. They were divided into five tiers, each lower tier double the number of the higher. The Tier One nobility numbered only ten. All other stellar entities placing 311th and beyond in order of arrival were called the Internal Police with tiers 6 to... well, it could hardly matter now, there were so many of them. Any higher tier could command any lower tier.
It took three of the same tier to override a decision of a fellow class of nobility but anyone of higher class can override any number with lower ranking... if tiermates of the higher do not override the... override. Stellar entities were powerful and impassive enough that they could have no corruption, under normal circumstances. As confusing as the system sounds, it had yet to fail under the careful eyes of the higher nobility... despite that some issues still take many thousands of millenia to resolve.
However, to the Renegade, Regulus the Lionhearted, it seemed that her former coworkers have reached a unanimous consensus regarding their treatment of her.
Misery.
Malaise.
Misfortune.
Courtesy of the GDC in all its glory.
Her IIM failed once more as her party of three -- savior, stranger, and self -- dropped out of the sky on the premise of her coordinate miscalculation and fell, gracelessly, into the lake. Teleportation in a temporal-spatial labyrinth was like fitting a circle into a square or getting Regulus' blazing, white hair to touch the ground.
A b***h.
As she burst from the surface of the water, coughing most inelegantly, her hair twisted at the whim of some invisible force and wrung out the moisture. It quickly flailed itself dry before resuming its normal, anti-gravitational character, almost seeming to... sulk... just a little. Water marred its flawlessly silky image. Her hair was as fussy as the girl who owned it.
Her already lightened clothes dragged at her but she wasn't about to shed her only layer of decency, even if it meant drowning. There was a limit to how much pride she would be willing to give up. The brilliance of her radiant features put on the appearance that she was glowing. Perhaps she was. Nothing could compare to the shine of a star. Even a Fallen Star like her had strong, illusionary luminescence.
Where was the man that saved her?
She tread the water, closing her red eyes, pulling together her calm. The temporal-spatial maze that wrought this planet marked it as a sacred site that only the Tier One nobles of the Council could touch. Though she was brilliant, a former Tier Two who rivaled her superiors in such puzzles, even she had problems with Old Betel's ruse here. His signature was written among the puzzle pieces of space and time. His traps were laid upon every crack, hiding in every nook and cranny. Regulus didn't dare to perform IIM again without triple checking all the risks.
The good news was that she was no longer dehydrated. Her burns were healing rapidly, visible to the naked eye. Her sanity -- well, assuming she was sane to begin with -- had returned to her... for the most part. Rampant grumbled at her hip. The sword only ever tolerated water with a grudging reluctance. As expected of a flame-oriented blade.
The thread between time and space connected firmly with her feet and raised the girl from her laborious efforts to stay afloat. The dripping of water from her clothes plopped loudly into the lake and made her position clear. She quietly walked on thin air, an inch above the plane of water. The waves only occasionally licked at her toes.
Were the other two alright? She felt like she owed them some sort of apology. It was her fault they were roasted one moment and waterlogged the next. The least she could do was try to fish them out and say 'sorry.'

Gordon swore for a second he accidentally flew them into the Stream. Thats what it felt like but when he found himself in a lake it was clear that it had to have been one of his passengers. He swam up to the surface of the lake, laughing like a child. " Well thats one way to get re-hydrated!" he said, with a smile on his face. He swam over to the girl he had saved and still smiled.
" Your looking better now. I guess this water must have healing properties or something. Your burns are almost all gone" Gordon commented about her healing body, mistaking it for something in the water. " So who are you anyways? I"m Gordon von Strangaild, prince of the Shel'rek" he said grabbing her hand from underwater and bring it up surface and kissing it. While it made have been an old time show of romantic interest, it was actually a custom on Gordon's planet to perform such an act in meeting a lady for the first time.

The full force of the vast differences of this new environment hit him with full force once Lucien stepped outside the ship. As the doors opened, a blast of hot air hit his face; cringing at the dry heat and feeling light-headed, Lucien swayed on the spot and fell forward on the plank. The hard landing was made much more painful by the increased gravity just as the very atmosphere violently disoriented him. Suddenly increased levels of oxygen caused his body to radically attempt to adjust itself to these new levels: blood vessels constricted and cut off blood supply and his brain slowly suffocated. To make matters worse, the area was bombarded with large amount of radiation, his magical senses picking up on these and causing sensory overload that soon led to nausea.
Lucien felt his insides coil and and writhe just before he started to retch and pill out an oozing light green fluid that seemed to shimmer slightly and quickly vaporized. He lay for a moment, groaning with the pain from his tumbling fall and this sudden disorientation that overwhelmed his senses. Two Treachu guards showed up within the minute, picking up the helpless sorcerer and carrying him to a nearby infirmary and environmental rehabilitation facility.
One guard stayed behind to help Evie off the ramp, motioning over to the door where Lucien vanished into, "The young scaleless one is going to be alright. It often happens among your kind when they come to visit. I'll take you to him, but you must take it slow. Scaleless ones should take it easy and get used to our home."

Evie was so focused upon her own struggles to stand that she didn't at first realize that Lucien had toppled. It was the sound of his retching that snapped her out of her own light daze. "L.. Lucien?!" she stammered, eyes growing wide as she stumbled forward, only to nearly trip and fall herself. She wobbled dangerously, arms flailing, until it was caught by one of the very things she was so scared of and excited to see. A Treachu had caught her arm, and she couldn't help leaning against him as he started helping her alarm. So he was one of the prideful soldiers?
"T-tougher gravity..?" she huffed, softly panting as she trudged her way along beside him, mostly dragging her feet instead of bothering to lift them. She kept her eyes upon Lucien's form, anxious to keep up, but finding herself physically unable. She didn't exactly work out in her spare time... She just wished she could keep up better, to make sure nothing happened. The idea of aliens made her nervous, and the feel of the scaly hand holding her arm made her shiver slightly at first. God, it was also so hot... She was already starting to sweat. "I-it kind of hurts..." she spoke in a weak, humorless laugh, eyes locked anxiously upon Lucien's form as he was carried ever further away.

The guard shook his head indecisively, "Well, that's only one problem your kind has in adapting. I've seen some among you, especially Scaleless Ones that use strong magic, that react violently to the changes in our atmosphere." He motioned to the small building Lucien had been carried into in a gesture that indicated him as an example, "I don't quite understand what causes this, but it's easily treatable..." He helped her inside the building where Lucien lay on a stretcher with a gas mask on his lower face.
Lucien stopped moving and groaning, staring peacefully at the ceiling as his senses had slowly stabilized. His vision cleared and his mind stopped reeling, his skin no longer felt numb and he could move his head without feeling like the room spun around him. He waved to Evie, eyes squinting as he smiled underneath the mask and the Treachu attending him looked up, "He's alright... the mask is imitating the atmosphere of your homeland and slowly adjusting the gas levels to match our own." She nodded to her patient, extending a hand to help him sit up and look around, studying every detail of this strange room: the architecture, decoration, layout... anything and everything he could lay his eyes on.

Evie actually cringed as they reached the building and she caught sight of Lucien. She'd been curiously studying the lizard man she was walking beside and listening to his words until they arrived. But once they had, her focus instantly locked upon the Lucien. She blinked, but slowly lifted her hand to wave back at him. The weight was still pressing upon her body, but she was growing used to it, sort of. If she ran a few laps here, she'd be the fastest person on earth! She didn't remember hearing a warning about gravity in the ship's announcements, but she hadn't exactly been paying purposeful attention either.
She shuffled slowly forward, still dragging a little as she came to a halt at his bedside, anxiously watching the treachu attending him and then once more peering back to Lucien. "L-looks like you didn't plan for everything after all..." she murmured, offering a weak smile as she tentatively placed a hand upon his back in case he'd need extra balance.

Lucien laughed heartily at her comment, "Rightly said, Evie, rightly said!" Even after having said this, he'd continue to laugh for a time. By the time the fit of laughter died out, the mask's button flashed and bleeped continuously until his attendant removed it. Lucien took a deep and generous breath of fresh, reptilian air and exhaled contentedly, 'Ah!'; almost like an asthma sufferer who suddenly found his airways clear of any mucous substance.
He jumped cheerfully from the bed, using his magic to help him cope and adapt to the new environment and the force it exerted on his somewhat frail body. He wrapped an arm around Evie's shoulder, grasping the opposing one from the side as he'd march cheerfully from the room, "The humor was very well appreciated," and turned around to bid the welcoming party a proud farewell, "And so much so for your help as well, my new scaled friends. May your lives be pleasant and fortune be fair!"
Lucien marched exaggeratedly from the building, not so much for the sheer theatrics, but primarily for the exercise of his limbs and to get them used to having a strong force exerted onto them. He waked towards a vantage point that looked out onto a large section of the palace grounds and turned to his somewhat old friend, "So, where to, my good friend? Shall we scale the mountains or run along the courtyards? Dine before the feast or walk along the gardens?"

Evie's smile grew a bit at the warm reaction Lucien gave her comment, her head tilting slightly as she watched him. Was it safe to be laughing so much, when just a moment before he couldn't breathe at all? Well, he didn't seem ready to pass out again, and he wasn't wobbling. She reassured herself fully when the mask was removed as well. Yes, he must've been just fine. She shuffled back a bit when he leaped from the bed, but hovered nervously around him, then blinked and blushed as his arm found its way to her shoulders again. Cautiously, she wrapped an arm lightly around his waist in return, hoping to offer a bit more support if he found he'd need it.
She strode alongside him as he led the way out, peeking over her shoulder for a last look toward their hosts. "Th-thank you!" she added herself, and then turned her attention back to the outside. It was hot. Sweltering hot. Stifling hot. She didn't like it. Sunburn ahoy!
"M-mountains? Are you sure you're up for that..?" Evie asked, turning her attention toward Lucien and trying to ignore the heat. She'd have to shed some clothing if she got a chance... "Gardens sound safer..."
