The Treachu Royal Palace (Old Section)
The original section of the Treachu Palace is very much like a labyrinth. The palace was designed in a maze like fashion in hopes of protecting its secrets and occupants. Only those familiar with the palace itself would be able to find their way around leaving intruders lost and open to attack. The newer section of the palace is double the size of the old section. Even so, the old portion of the palace still is the size of a small town. Take care not to get lost!

"Here you go Scale less one..." A large blue skin Treachu spoke to Kurai. He was towering above Kurai and he was covered with various scars and old armor. His voice deep and booming and his jaw nearly the size of Kurai's shoulder width. Kurai smiled and clenched his fist excitedly.
The area the unlikely pair was at was inside the secret old section of the palace. Filled and littered amongst the sand were large pillars reaching upwards at the sky. They seemed to go one for miles. It was shocking to still think this was inside the Palace.
"Thank you Jayim." Kurai said to the Treachu. The young priest wore his casual blue unbuttoned short sleeve shirt. Ripped black jeans and blue shoes. His hair was cut short however, to cope with the heat and by request of Tomoro and Aili.
Jayim trotted forward his large spear axe clanking along the ground. "Young scale less one, this should provide a nice quiet area for you and your friend to spar." He pointed a long fingernail towards a large statue at the center. "Just please be wary not to get lost. If you do, go towards the center, and when the sun sets. Go towards the sun. You will find the exit there amongst the ground."
Kurai smiled at the large lizard man and then gave him a thumbs up. "You did a lot for me, thanks for the advice." Kurai was already sweating from fighting the heat and the gravity but his face was filled with burn of battle.
"It's been so long since i've seen her. She was my senior, and the first one I fought at this school. This will be an amazing battle Jayim..."
Jayim smiled back at Kurai in a sort of elderly manner. "I respect those who find life through battle. You would make a good Treachu Kurai." He turned his head towards the direction of a sound and chuckled. "I hear the steps of another Scale less one. I believe your friend is coming with her Treachu escort..."

"I can't believe he wants to fight here, of all places..."
A tall slender woman was walking down the stone path with a pink and purple scaled Treachu following close by. The blonde woman sighed a bit, but soon realized the wording of her sentence. She quickly turned to the tall Treachu, apologizing for her choice of words.
"Oh, I'm sorry Nala, I didn't mean it like that."
Nala just smiled, knowing that Tiffany meant no insult in her words. She merely just looked down upon her, laughing a bit at her apology. "No need to apologize, I know what you mean. He's fighting you in a strange planet you have never been on before, and it has been a while since you two have seen each other. This whole sudden sparring match must seem weird to you." Nala read Tiffany like book. It has been at least a year since she had seen Kurai, maybe even two. This sudden declaration of a sparring match caught Tiff off guard, not to mention that this was her first school event that she had to organize since she got accepted for her position here.
Tiff wore a shoulder cut shirt that exposed her toned belly and of course her round shoulders. She wore shorts and oddly enough a pair of crimson red high heels. Then again, fighting in high heels was something that Tiff was far to familiar with. Inch by inch the duo grew closer to the silver haired boy and his representing Treachu. She could only imagine what he looked like now. She giggled at the thought of Kurai looking all masculine, especially since he had a thing for unbuttoned shirts.
Before she knew it, her imagination became reality. Standing before them was a silver haired boy and his large lizard friend. Tiff couldn't help but crack a smile as she spotted the flame wielding priest.
"Well, I see you got your hair cut."
Tiff lightly chuckled as she gave Kurai one of her signature hugs. She then backed away and acknowledged the presence of the Treachu before them. "Hello, my name is Tiffany. It's nice to meet." With that Tiffany slightly bowed and then looked over at Nala. "Nala, thanks once again. I think I would have gotten lost if I came here all by myself." Nala just simply nodded, glad that she was able to help.
Tiff then paid her attention back to Kurai as she flipped her blonde locks in the air a bit.
"Well, I must admit, I'm a bit rusty....but, I think I can hold my own." She winked at the Kurai for old times sake.

Kurai turned to the direction of where Jayim looked on to.
"Oh that's for sure her." Kurai chuckled, his short hair whipping about in the breeze of the strange town inside the temple. Soon the figure of Tiff came around the pillars and in front of him. The pair stood in a slight clearing of pillars where some pillars were on the ground crumbled. Kurai narrowed his eyes on the girl and prepared himself.
Tiff however just walked up to Kurai without fear. This seemingly shocked Kurai to no end. "... !! Hey! I am ready for anything Tiff! You won't throw me off---" And Kurai was given a hug from Tiff. Kurai turned red and felt rather embarrassed thinking Tiff was going to throw an attack.
Or maybe it was just the fact he was squished amongst Tiff's airbags.
Releasing from the hug Kurai shook his head quickly to shake off the feeling. To his luck Tiff was preoccupied talking to Nala as he could slap his face unread again.
pulling himself together and hearing Tiff's readyness for the spar he took a few steps back and shifted himself into a battle stance. Preparing his right hand forward he clenched its fist and then let out a massive grin.
"Man! You are going to see my flame arts I was working on when I was a freshman!" Kurai exclaimed "Prepare to be impressed Tiff!" Kurai chuckled and pumped his fist forward igniting his fist.
To his suprise however his fist did ignite but it ignited so strongly it became unstable and combusted in front of Kurai throwing him backwards onto his back and burning his hand. Kurai yelled out in pain and shook his hand widly as it sparked about.
"Wh---WHAT THE!?" Kurai shouted out Jayim let out a bellowing laugh. "Young Scale less one. Did you forget our planet is heavier? our air are compacted at greater amounts then your planet. This allows your flame to have a much greater density of oxygen to burn from!" the large Treachu lectured.
Kurai let out a facefault and then picked himself off the ground.
"wh--wha... just my luck.." Kurai turned was flustered and slightly embarrassed. "gawd... you might as well fight me like a freshman again at this rate Tiff. It's just like when i was learning my flame I couldn't even control it..." Kurai then cautiously threw out his fist again, this time successfully igniting his hand without blowing it up.
"... I'll let you move first..." Kurai said motioning Tiff to come at him with a rather awkward smile.

Tiff couldn't help but smile at Kurai's sudden red face. She always thought Kurai was cute...in a puppy dog kind of way. It was a bit hard seeing Kurai all grown up like this. Even to this day she always saw Kurai as the little boy trying to learn the flame arts from either Susie or Aili. Despite this, Tiff wasn't going to let her guard down. She had seem him first hand grow into a strong fighter. She knew Kurai wasn't the same little boy struggling with his flames.
Kurai suddenly got into battle mode, which prompted Tiffany to do the same. A sudden gust of wind blew past the couple as everything around them seem to stand still. With a cry, Kurai unleashed his flame from his hand, but only to have it combust drastically within his hand. This caught Tiff off a bit as she slowly eased her stance. Tiff heard the explanation that Jayim gave Kurai and couldn't help but smile.
"Well now, it looks like this battle is in my favor."
Tiff joked a bit as she started to flirt with Kurai a bit. Flipping her hair out of her eyes, she took a look around her surroundings, wondering if she would have any other advantageous stuff to take out Kurai. She quickly ignored the thought and looked back at Kurai who seemed a bit flustered from his previous set back. With that Kurai announced that Tiff should take the first move. To be honest, Tiff wasn't much of an offensive person. She usually liked it when her opponents attacked first, but seeing how this planet would bring a different battleground to the arena, she felt it was good to explore and adapt to the new planet. With a light nod Tiff took a step back.
"Ok, lets see what this wind is capable of."
Tiff reached her arms back concentrating solely on Kurai. The air around them seem to stop, as everything grew silent. Tiff grinded her teeth a bit as the gravity here was a bit heavier then what she had imagined. She forcefully pushed her hands out, but found it a bit difficult. Not holding back she used all her might to push forward her hands, releasing a powerful gust of wind with it. This came to a surprise to Tiff as she herself wasn't expecting such a powerful gust to be pushed forward. The amount of power used pushed her back. sliding her heels against the concrete floor while picking up dirt.
"Woah...that was different."

Kurai felt the wind stop around him and was placed to uneasiness. His flame flickered a bit weaker. His eyes tensed up.
she's gathering the wind around her... Kurai thought to himself. Kurai braced himself. "Alright..." But before Kurai knew it, it wasn't just a gust, it was a full blown blast of air twisting the ground itself and shattering some of the pillars about them. Kurai's eyes widened and his face went to full "WTF" mode.
Jayim and Nala spying this quickly leapt up with their powerful lizard legs away from the large blast of air.
With barely any time to react Kurai threw his fist forward unleashing a blast of flame towards the gust.
This was possibly one of the stupidest ideas Kurai ever made, the Flame just fed off the air and launched into a spiral of fire around Kurai. All that could be seen was a large dome of fire encasing Kurai now, twisting about. A large slice of one of the pillars got caught in the wind and was hurled towards the dome of fire crashing down on to it and crushing where Kurai would have.
The Flames shot about the debris and the dust cleared. Kurai was not there anymore.
"The male scale less one.. where did he go..." Nala asked to Jayim as the two stood on top two pillars away from the scene.
A strange silence came by the battlefield as the gust finally died down. Suddenly from the ground shot up a large cloud of dust and dirt Kurai leapt out of the ground his body covered with burnt marks and his clothes dirtied from the ground.
"PTYOO" Kurai cried out as he spat out the dirt. Kurai then wiped his mouth free from the dust and then smiled smugly at Tiff.
"Betcha didn't see that kind of dodge EH!?" Kurai cried out and then threw back both of his arms igniting both of his fists this time.
Jayim chuckled to himself. "The young Scale less one saw the ground being ripped apart from the gust and used it to his advantage to hide..."
Kurai then placed both of his fists together and pulled them slowly apart creating his signature flame blade.
"I think i am ready to attack Tiff! You got me in the mood now." Kurai then clenched his right hand around his blade and charged forward his left hand in front of him and his head downwards looking up at Tiff.
"Let's see how well you are hand to hand!" Kurai cried out and swung forward his left knee at Tiff.

Damn. Well today was just going great. First I get the wildly bright idea of snatching my mom's jet and crash it as soon as I arrive. Then I hike ******** knows how many miles just to get to some kind of structure so I don't dehydrate and die. Next I have to navigate the halls of some fancy dancy day palace to try and get to the actual palace so I can put down the food I've been carrying, and steadily losing, since I left home! And if that wasn't enough, on my way to this grand palace I get detoured into this godforsaken pile of abandoned ruins! So now I'm trekking even further, never mind that the added gravity is making my legs into some kind of exotic jello! If I could go home I would, except my freaking JET CRASHED!
With an excessive amount of huffing and puffing, Joy continued down the corridor, lugging the food behind her. She had given up any pretense of civility and was simply dragging them all in a line behind her, tied together by their ribbons. If Celestial saw how she was treating her jungle delicacies she would probably explode.
At least I'm making a valiant effort. I haven't dumped them yet. Joy muttered to the voice in her head. She glanced around, surveying the sights. There wasn't much to see, it was all very similar, the same arches kept repeating over and over.. discouraging to say the least. But Joy hadn't given up next. When physical tact didn't work the next step was magic.
The girl stopped moving. She closed pale lids laden with ridiculously long lashes over her sapphire orbs and began to breathe slowly. Using craft was much harder when one was exhausted, and if there was one thing Joy was at the moment, it was exhausted. Or maybe pissed off. Thank the Goddess I was so obsessed with physical fitness the last few months.. After that thought her mind also submitted and became calm. At first bodily claims worried her: the tired throbbing of her leg muscles; the aching of her feet; sweat pouring down her forehead and between her breasts; but then these too faded.
Her chest rose and fell slowly and then the world opened to her. Now instead of only the passive feeling of vibrations on her oversensitive skin, Joy could see the waves they made in the air. She began to map out an exit route before a mild disturbance struck her interest. Two forms -humanoid- were grappling, accompanied by two other forms, most likely Treachus, but it was hard to tell from this distance. This was a good thing, too. As overexerted as she was, Joy's mind couldn't span the entire Old Section. With no end point she had no idea which direction to head. So instead she plotted a course meant to intersect with theirs.
Not once did it enter into her mind that sneaking up on a pair of quarreling individuals might not be so great an idea.
With renewed vigor, Joy flipped her packages over her shoulder and marched down the hallways, mentally counting the steps until she reached her destination. On her way she changed her clothes quickly. Her blue bikini transformed into a black sports bra, hiding a more generous portion of her nearly flat chest. Her short shorts grew into a lighter cotton pair of knee-lengths and changed from denim blue to black as well. Her hair, previously down and stuck to her forehead with sweat, was whipped into a high ponytail. Now in a much cooler outfit, Joy stepped forward before remembering the entire reason for the change: her flip flops. They morphed easily into top-of-the-line sneakers. She would have felt sorry for the loss of her usual flair and lace, but it was simply too hot for any kind of extravagance.
All of a sudden a burst of hair blew the few strands that had escaped her hairstyle off her face. She closed her eyes for a few seconds to enjoy the way it cooled the sweat amassing on her exposed skin. Once it had passed, Joy resumed her course, and her counting. This proved to be another miscalculation on her part. A loud bang! resounded about the area accompanied with big bass vibrations that shook her tired legs from beneath her. Once they dissipated and stopped their phantom pressure on her chest, Joy struggled to her feet and began cursing to herself.
She still didn't quite realize what she was walking into. And her mood still hadn't improved.
With much relief, Joy closed in on her quarries. Her footsteps resounded noiselessly, noticeable only to her sensitive nature. She fought through the curiously apparent debris on the ground, regarding it with detached interest. These are old ruins, right? They crumbled all the time! Joy stepped out from behind one of the pillars and let her bag sink to the ground with a dulled thud as she raised her eyes. They were quickly followed by her eyebrows. What had evaded her brain was suddenly screaming at her. They were fighting!
Too tired to do much of anything, Joy sat down beside her bag and gazed dully at the fight that was enfolding in front of her. After a few moments of observation, a thought occurred. Well, if I'm going to be here, I may as well enjoy it! She fished out a chunk of sugared jungle fruits marinated in tangy syrups and bit into it. Not as satisfying as popcorn. But this will do.
After a few nibbles, Joy's debilitated mind registered her past observations. Her eyes threaded through the chaos, seeking the two lizards. Perhaps they'd be kind enough to oblige her with an exit out of this space? Even if by some chance they acquiesced, Joy was too frazzled to walk more than a few steps, so she resigned herself to watching the battle enfold while she regained some energy. If she was lucky one of them might have healing or restorative powers.
Joy bit once again into her food before lifting up the opened package to the lizards that she had been previously ignoring. "Treats?" She asked innocently.

Tiffany witnessed the chaotic destruction that had escaped from her hands. She honestly wasn't expecting the attack to be quite that potent. Pillars around them cracked, even falling from their post. The ground beneath them shook and debris flew everywhere. From this moment Kurai lifted his hands and encased the violent winds with a surge of crimson fire. The flames engulfed him causing a fiery cocoon to eat him alive. The very sight astonished Tiff. Kurai was only human, so this could very much kill him, but at the same time she wondered if he had gain the ability to become fire proof. Still on guard Tiff observed the twisting flames, looking for shadows to see if Kurai didn't roast into a shriveled hot dog. She patiently waited as the flames started to die down. The wind around her eased up as her hair fell flat on her head. Tiff's eyes shot wide opened when she realized Kurai was missing from his post, only leaving cindered ashes to molt the ground.
"W-Where did he-?"
Before she could finish her sentence Kurai dived into the air, revealing that he was safe and sound. Despite being burnt and tattered, Kurai still managed to crack a smile. "Impressive, you used the ground. Quick thinking for such a fast attack." Tiff just smirked towards Kurai as she readied herself once more. Kurai then unleashed his signature blade, bringing Tiff back to the old days. Before she knew it, Kurai thrusted his knee forward. Tiff managed to block the attack, but his force managed to push her back in the process. Dust escaped from her feet as she quickly jumped away from Kurai. "Ok, here we go!" Tiff then flung forward, moving her powerful legs as fast as she could. When she got close enough she out stretched her leg, throwing kick after kick. Unfortunately Kurai's flame blade caught her off guard as a little flame managed to flicker in her face. This caught her off balance, making her vulnerable to hit.

"Nice!" Kurai shouted out to Tiff as he felt his knee rejected with her strong wrists. The feeling of battle blows exchanged sent ecstatic chills down Kurai's body. The rush of the body pushed to their physical limits and strategic motions created a whole another world for Kurai. Kurai expecting Tiff to block firmly against his knee continued forth pushing his body weight into the knee trying to throw Tiff off balance.
Expected... Kurai thought to himself and continuously shoved forward, however to his surprise Tiff managed to retain her balance and even jump away from his attack. His body stumbled forward as he regained his footholdings.
With a battle cry Tiff this time came at Kurai lunging quickly like a wildcat on springs, the muscles of the two humans struck the ground with a mighty soundwave emitting through the air.
Kurai saw this and thrusted forward his sword towards Tiff managing to emergency halt out of her movements, Kurai seize the opportunity and then released his sword which dropped to the floor turning into a ball of fire as it hit the ground. With his now free hand Kurai gripped Tiff's arm just below her shoulder blade and gripped it tightly denying any way Tiff could turn his back against him. Without a haste Kurai's face tensed up and his body shifted towards Tiff rotating his body bringing his Right leg underneathe Tiff's body and towards the back of her shins attempting to trip her.

"Why doesn't the female scales less one unseathe a weapon!" Nala shouted out in a bit upset manner stomping her large repitlian foot. It was as if there was some pride in her gender being shattered here.
Jayim just shook his body releasing some of the debris that scattered on him from Tiff's gust attack. "The female scaleless may be strictly to hand to hand combat or uses a great deal of magic..."
"blasphemy... weapons are one thing any race or species can count on!" Nala shouted out with pride. "No matter how young or how old! One can always count on the sturdine---" She was suddenly stopped by the sound of a strange crunching noise. Both lizards ears perked up and then both of their eyes trailed down to the young Joy who sat in between both of them. Both of them nearly jumped as they saw the young girl just nonchalantly chew and watch the fight ahead of her.
"Treats?"
"Ho--how did she sneak past us?" Nala asked Jayim. Jayim just shrugged. "I detected no threats..." He said and then reached into the bag offered by Joy, his fingers so big he had to use just two of his nails to pick up a dainty little piece of candy. "What brings you here young scale less one?"

Crap!
That was the only word that came to mind when Kurai managed to grab hold of her. Tiff was about to pull away until Kurai swooped underneath Tiff, swinging his leg under her feet. With one fell swoop Tiff lost her balance and fell back first onto the concrete ground. Dust dispersed in every direction as her blonde golden locks flung in the air, covering her face. Knowing she had no time to think Tiff quickly pushed herself up with the help of her wind powers and flung back onto her feet. Needing time to recover from the attack Tiff thrusted herself back with yet another light wind burst, pushing her a great distance away from Kurai. Tiff took a deep breath, recovering the air that was knocked out of her. A snug smirked emerged from Tiff's barbie like face. She was quite surprised that Kurai was able to throw her off balance like that. She eyed the cracked concrete from where she fell, showing that the gravity here wasn't to be taken lightly. She then looked at Kurai, watching him as a sudden warm breeze rushed against her shoulders. "Hey, not bad. I didn't expect you to be much of a fighter."
Tiff then took an elegant pose as she started to twirl her right hand in a fancy motion. Little water particles suddenly manifested in her palm, dancing around with a deep sapphire glow. "That flame blade sure did bring back memories..." With an elegant twist, graceful water pillars danced around her luscious body. The water particles then cohered into each other, forming some sort of human like figure. With a smirk Tiff just eyed Kurai, hoping it would "slap" a memory in his head.
Within seconds three water angels stood before Tiffany. One angel with an archer's bow, one with a small harp, and the last one with a staff. The angels just floated there, emotionless and oblivious of anything around them. "You kids play nice now." Tiff then raised her hand, pointing her finger towards Kurai. Like an obedient dog with his master, the angels sprung to life dashing towards the silver haired boy. While gravitating towards Kurai, the angels unleashed an arsenal of water attacks that destroyed anything in its path. As the angels made there way towards Kurai, Tiffany was deep in thought of what her next attack should be.
Those angels aren't going to last forever. With Kurai's "steroid" flames, he can easily evaporate them into nothing...not to mention the dry weather here will make things worse for them.
Tiff then looked up to see a pillar of light shining through the broken ceiling caused by her previous wind attack. This gave Tiff an idea.
I wonder if I can make it rain here? The dry weather will definitely make it hard for me, but it would prove useful against Kurai....It looks like I'm gonna need a little help. Ok Kurai, get ready to meet a new friend of mine.
A little glowing pink glyph suddenly appeared on Tiffany's right hand. Within a few seconds a shining white light formed around her hand. As the white light faded away a shiny sliver gun was placed firmly in her grip. She then brought the gun to her chest as sudden burst of wind swirled around her. A blue glyph then appeared beneath Tiffany glowing brightly as she started to chant something.
"Oh Queen of the celestial ocean, part thy waves and show me your divine power!"
The glyph below her shined even brighter. All that was left was to call out her name.
Come on come on, just a little more...

"NOW!" Kurai cried out and swung a fist from above his head downwards towards the fallen Tiff's stomach, taking care not to create a fatal hit to the friend of his. However Tiff was too battle adept to know it would be bad to stay on the ground and brought herself quickly upwards with the help of her wind magic. Striking Kurai on the way up Tiff managed to retreat safely away from Kurai. Kurai stumbled backwards from the strike as it glazed across his cheek. The lady's leg length was certainly an advantage here.
"Hey, not bad. I didn't expect you to be much of a fighter."
"Well what did you expect, the last time you fought me I only had the martial arts knowledge of a farmer!" Kurai cried out rubbing his wrist which was still charred from the combusting flame.
It was then an all too familiar move to Kurai came up. There a slight blue glow formed about Tiff. Kurai's face was suprised at first then grinned up There small strange aquatic figures floated about Tiff. Kurai rotated his shoulder and then cracked his neck.
"This was the move that took me out last time Tiff. But not this time! I spent a long time thinking of how to evade an attack like this. Thanks to Joy, I figured out a way..." Kurai then clenched both of his fist and hunched forward. A massive flame formed at both of his fists.
"Bring it!" Kurai growled at Tiff, and as if on cue the water angels charged forward at him. The one with the harp played a almost chaotic and strange battle anthem as they charged forward, the archer shooting bolts of high pressured water arrow fueled by its own body.
Kurai seeing the arrows coming decided it was probably best he started moving too. Damn she didn't give me any time to decide how to move...
With that thought Kurai threw his right arm upwards at the sky, turning hsi body facing upwards at the sky and then brought down his right fist still ignited. It was like Kurai created a large line of fire in the air as he slamed his fist into the ground. At that very moment the fists flame exploded and engulfed Kurai's entire body. Kurai himself became a living flame body.
"The advance arts of Flame manipulation uses fire to create armory and weapons Tiff, Now witness this living fire armor i have created!" Kurai shouted out proud of his arts and then charged forward at the Angels.
However he underestimated the power of Tiff's own attack and tried charging straight at the archer angel. The archer getting a clear shot at Kurai, shot straight at him, striking his right shoulder and throwing his entire right side of his body backwards fighting against the momentum of his reckless charge. Kurai's entire right shoulder and right arm lost its fire armor and was extinguished. Kurai a bit shocked hastened his charge and thrusted his left arm forward at the angel archer. The archer did not have time to reload her weapon and was greeted with the long left ignited arm of Kurai. Shoving right through the angel with some resistance all that was left with the angel's right side was water particles and steam. The angel''s face contorted and melted down to the ground.
"One down!" Kurai cried out as he continued to charge forward.
Kurai's eyes then focused on the strange glyph on Tiff's arm. It was a familiar symbol to Kurai as his eyes widened. "What are you up to..." Kurai shouted out and then out of haste swung his right leg upwards and shot of the flame that engulfed his right leg into a piercing fire bolt towards Tiff, attempting to halt her summoning process.

He got one.
Tiff managed to witness the carnage her water angels and Kurai were unleashing. To her surprise it looked like Kurai had learned a new move. Despite taking one down, he still had two more to go which gave her plenty of time to cast her summon. However Kurai unleashed a surprise attack against Tiff when he finally realized that she was using the water angels as decoys. A surging fire arrow flew fiercely in the air, dashing for Tiffany's abdominal region. Caught off guard by the attack, Tiff quickly focused her attention on the summon.
Come on Come on...
Time was of the essence. Every second wasted was another second to a painful "sun" burn. The flame lit up the area, causing the blue glowing glyph and the crimson lights to dance with each other.
"I SUMMON THEE, MERMADIA!!"
Tiff quickly released her energy, causing a bright light to form around her. To no avail however was she able to escape Kurai's attack. With a loud girlish scream, Tiffany flew back in pain as the fire engulfed her body. Tiff landed on the ground, skidding several feet from where she had previously stood. Her stomach was riddled with black smog as steaming vapors escaped from her body. Tiffany tried to lift herself up, but felt dizzy from the sudden blow. She placed a hand on her forehead, feeling nauseous from the foul smell that covered her clothes. Suddenly an outstretched light blue hand appeared before Tiffany's eyes. She looked up to see it was none other then Mermadia. With a slight smile she took her hand and pulled herself up. Mermadia took a look at the current battlefield as Tiffany wiped herself off.
"You called?" "Yeah, I need a favor." Mermadia gazed around the old ruins, feeling a bit lost of her surroundings. "This temple....the mana flow...why is it so unfamiliar?" "Sorry, we aren't on Ria anymore. We are in a planet called Kasyune. The weather here is a bit dry, and to be honest, I really wasn't sure if I was able to summon you." Mermadia turned her attention to Tiff as she held her water trident firmly in her grasp. "I see. So what is it you need me to do?" "I need you to make it rain." "Very well, I'll see what I can do."
With that Mermadia transformed into a bright blue ball of light and ascended up to the ceiling, escaping from the cracked hole. Tiff then took her gun as a small glyph appeared in the front of it. Pulling the trigger, a blast of blue energy shot out of the gun, aiming for the ceiling above. The energy blasted through the ceiling, crumbling the rooftop onto the ground below. Tiffany smirked as a dark cloud could be seen coming in the general area of the ruins. Tiff then focused her attention on Kurai. Another pink glyph appeared on Tiff's left hand, this time revealing a short ninjato sword. "Ok Kurai, you've proven yourself worthy of hand to hand combat and your fire manipulation skills have improved significantly, but lets see how well you fair against weapons."
Tiff then dashed into the battlefield, jumping over the fallen debris she had caused earlier. As she got close enough she elegantly jumped into the air, twirling about as if she was an Olympic gymnast. She jumped over one of her water angels as to create a sort of surprise attack against Kurai. With great precision Tiff used her gun and shot two bullets towards Kurai. With one more elegant twirl Tiffany used her ninjato and landed herself in a vertical slashing position to finish off her attack.

Joy sat cozily in between the two lizard people, continuing her slow consumption of the treats her mother had provided. A small smirk registered over her face as the female Treachu addressed her companion.
"Ho--how did she sneak past us?"
I'm an archer, the girl thought to herself if you don't learn stealth, you don't survive long. At least Mom was able to teach me that, even if most of her martial arts training went to waste. Joy regarded the battling pair with barely disguised envy. Her mother was trained for this type of fight, whereas Joy was mostly a distanced fighter. And if she was forced into close quarters, she became preemptive. No sparrs for her. Not unless the other side wanted to come back irrationally scarred.
Purging the melancholic thoughts from her mind, Joy focused her attention on her companions in the peanut gallery. It was her first encounter with the lizard people, and as provocative as she liked to be, she did mean to make a good impression.
"What brings you here young scale less one?"
Joy's pale face flushed with the deep rose colour of her embarrassment. Usually her sense of direction was infallible. Her power saw to that. But she was simply too exhausted to make much use of it, and the fact that it was her fault she was so exhausted also rubbed her a bit raw. So, instead of a snippy answer coated generously with sarcasm, Joy shrugged one shoulder and glanced up at the lizard-man. "I heard fighting"
Not completely true, but close enough. In time her sad situation would be revealed, or not, as the case may be. Perhaps she could just innocently follow these people as if it had been her intention all along.
A sudden throbbing in her cheeks and tightness in her chest reminded of her more immediate situation. "I don't suppo-" a few gentle coughs racked through her body as Joy tried to be as ladylike about it as possible, coughing into a summoned handkerchief. "Excuse me. I've been walking for a time" understatement of the century "and could use some refreshment. I don't suppose you have some water with you?"
She was painfully aware of the deep-set ache in her muscles. They had stiffened while she was sitting. She wouldn't be getting up anytime soon. And her brain felt like it was stuffed with cotton. It wasn't likely that a brilliant, resourceful solution would come to her within the next few moments. Joy was stuck with relying on the charity of these individuals.
And they're fighting. Although it looks friendly enough, but animosity rises quickly even in friendly sparring matches. Though.. the man.. there is something familiar about him...
Once she had shoved another helping of the candy into her mouth, Joy squinted at the silver haired man. She knew she had never seen him before, not that she had any recollection of, anyhow, but his aura called to her strangely. And the mix of emotions she felt tugging at her chest... Anger. Blame. Dependence. Comfort. The swirling feelings were making her nauseous.. although that could just be the heatstroke... but it was more than that. Her blood sand to his blood. But not quite. More like the shadow of his blood. It was weird.
Once again she looked to the Treachus for answers. "The man.. the one fighting with fire? What's his name?" Her voice was tinged with curious innocence, but there was a mark of suspicion under the warm velvet of her tone. And beneath that a small quiver that betrayed her exhaustion.
All this fire was not helping.
Joy just hoped the promised rain would come to cool off her burning head and bring some respite to the blanket of sweat beading on her skin.

Nala gave a firm thwump on Jayim's head. "This cute little scale less one needs liquid! Triunis would be furious if he saw us not giving them the care they need!" Nala spoke out in a rather annoyed manner.
"Oh, yes liquid." Jayim rubbed his head gave a rather annoyed glare at Nala and then reached for an animal skin flask of water tied to his belt and unhooked it. He then handed it over to Joy.
"This is not water but the juice of some of the many cactus's here. You might find it much more refreshing then what you scaleless one's usually drink." It was then he heard the sound of a approaching storm summoned by Tiff.
"but.. if water suits your taste.... I don't think you will have any trouble finding some soon."
Through the whole rant however, it seemed that the young Joy did not give any attention to the Treachu.
"The man.. the one fighting with fire? What's his name?"
"I believe the silver maned scaleless one goes by the name of Kurai.." Jayim responded. "Do you know him?"
~*~*~*~*~*~*
"Oof!" Kurai cried out as his chest armor turned from fire to steam as it was pelted by a strong blow from the angel with the staff. The Staff angel then retreated her staff movements and spun it around her defensively. She then proceeded to charge at Kurai with the staff extended outwards. Kurai spying this feinted his body stumbling backwards till the last second before the staff would reach his body.
"Simple minded summoned creature!!!" Kurai yelled out and then quickly leaned away from the attack. The staff sailed over his chest and left the angel's body vurnable to attack from Kurai. Kurai grinned at the staff angel and swung his head towards the aquatic body of the angel. His head still infused with the fire armor he created shattered the body of the angel into particles of water and steam just as the Archer angel did.
"Alright.." Kurai wiped his face free of the water and then turned to the music wielding angel.
"GraYAAA!!" Kurai yelled out a battle cry as he leapt up to the levitating Harp playing angel and swung his left leg right across the head of the angel. completely decapitating the aqua created head. water particles splashed about and steam arose from the location where the head once was. The body of the angel then withered to the ground.
"See this Tiff!?" Kurai landed on ground and clenched his left fist showing off the remaining flame infused armor he wore. "I based the heat on this fire so strong it can beat your stupid little angels! Your angels are tough and are high pressured, but sadly water is water! It can only take so much heat." Kurai gave off a rather victorious pose.
However Kurai was greeting with a shattering gunshot that blew the cracked ceiling apart. All Kurai could see was a large dust cloud after that.
"What on..." Kurai then clenched his teeth. "By the spirits... You summoned..." Kurai then realized what was happening. Soon enough the sky darkened. The two fighters was now basked in the energy of their battle weapons. Kurai with his fire, and Tiff with her glyph and reflective ninjato sword.
Kurai disliked this darkness, it gave him a great disadvantage. His fire would usually blind out his sight from focusing on the darkness. He would have to find a way to use his fire to make the room bright. And quick.
However Tiff was quick enough to act away though.
"Ok Kurai, you've proven yourself worthy of hand to hand combat and your fire manipulation skills have improved significantly, but lets see how well you fair against weapons."
"Keh! Your on!" Kurai cried out and then threw his hand up at his face and clawed away his fire armor at his head and combined it with the remaining armor he had on his body. He smash his fists together and slowly retracted them away creating another one of his fire blades. He held it tightly in his right hand.
Kurai eyed Tiff carefully. However she moved too quickly as she jumped around the debris and then ducked behind the remains of the water angel which seemingly still functioned even with its head off. Kurai's eyes widened and then realized she didn't attack just so it would trick him into thinking it was still dead.
"Damn!" Kurai cried out and then swung his blade wildly at the angel's body. It was a firm straight cut straight through the body and sliced off the remains of it into two parts. Gunshots from above him.
Kurai jerked his head upwards and saw the blonde haired beauty leap over him firing downwards. Kurai quickly pulled his blade upwards to block the bullets. However it seemed gravity was against Kurai and the bullets sailed quicker downwards. One struck Kurai firmly against his shoulder. The bullets were also heavier making it felt more like a sharp jab of a 50 pound spear going straight through him. Kurai lost his balance and saw Tiff quickly come at him. No time to regain footing Kurai was shoved upwards into the air with a clean vertical slash upwards.
Kurai was left with a giant gash at his chest as his body sailed through the air for a bit and then fall to the ground. Loosing his grip on the sword it also fell to the floor exploding into a pillar of fire.
Kurai however clenched his fist and quickly stood up.
"Exciting! exciting!" Kurai cried out and then clenched at his chest. Kurai removed his blue shirt and then tied it around his chest instead to make it a temporary bandage.
"Don't worry Tiff, I'm fine for now!" Kurai's eyes became hungry with battle. "I see this gravity isn't working too well for both of us, and I made an error of judgment there."
"But... It won't stop me! Ok ok!" Kurai then punched his fists together and created this time a fire hammer. "I see we can use gravity as a useful attack now. Soooooo" Kurai then began to spin his body. Holding the hammer with both of his hands he swung it one full circle around his body before leaping into the air and raising the hammer above his head.
"Eat THIS!" Kurai cried out with a smile, attempting to bring the hammer down onto Tiff.

Tiffany saw Kurai get up from her attack, wrapping his shirt around his designated wound. He seemed to be fine, his excitement growing with every attack. His fighting spirit exuded from his body, feasting his hunger for battle. Tiff just smirked at the matter, standing nonchalantly, waiting for Kurai's next move.
"I see we can use gravity as a useful attack now. Soooooo"
Kurai span rapidly with his fiery hammer in hand. She was surprised he was able to do so with such a presumably heavy weapon, not to mention the weight of gravity here. With one final twist Kurai jumped in the air, ready to bring the hammer down on Tiff's head.
"I don't think so." Tiff aimed her gun at Kurai while he was still in mid air. She focused on a more light area that wouldn't leave her friend in the hospital for weeks on in. She smirked a bit, ready to pull the trigger, but her smirk quickly faded as she realized that Kurai was falling much more faster then she thought.
Damn Gravity! Tiffany quickly brought both her hands together in an "x" formation. With a fatal strike, Kurai's attack hit hard against Tiffany's ninjato sword and gun. The impact was so great that Tiff's feet broke the ground underneath her. A huge crater started to form as Tiff struggled to hold off Kurai's attack. Every muscle in her body tightened, gritting her teeth from the strenuous blow. Her legs wobbled a bit trying to oppose the laws of physics from kneeling to the ground. It had finally got to the point where Tiff couldn't handle the pressure anymore and she needed to escape from the attack. With all her might she pushed Kurai back, releasing herself from the hammer. She took a step back, but it seemed the law of physics wasn't on her side. Kurai still came crashing down, hitting the ground underneath them. A huge fiery impact erupted, catching Tiff in it's grasp. Tiff was violently pushed backwards as her body relentlessly skidded across the ground like a rag doll. The impact from Kurai's attack made the crater even bigger and deeper as cracks started to race against Tiffany, destroying anything that stood in its way. With one final lunge, Tiff was thrown into a pillar, breaking it into two pieces. Smoke and dust invaded the room as roaring screams filled the room from the recent destruction. By this rate it would be a surprise if this room was still standing by the time they finished their little sparring session.
From the faded brown smoke emerged a shadow. The blonde haired girl limped her way out of the cloudy scene as she brushed her hair out of her face. Her clothes were mangled and her hair was a mess. Her legs and shoulders were slightly bleeding, but that didn't stop her from continuing this fight. She now realized what Kurai was capable of, and now it was time to bring in the heavy guns. Without a word Tiff swiftly spun around as she brought her right leg all the way above her head. It was amazing that she was able to do so considering what her legs had gone through. With a mighty battle cry Tiffany brought her leg down, smashing it hard against the ground. A piece of concrete debris flung in the air as Tiff took another spin, waiting for the right time to strike the object. With another battle cry Tiffany kicked the concrete slab as it broke into two sections. The force from her kick was so powerful that it dashed its way towards Kurai. To the side of her was a broken pillar. With her wind powers Tiff pushed the pillar into the air as she jumped on top of it. With another great force of wind, she propelled herself towards Kurai, surfing the pillar in the air. Without a moments hesitation she took her gun and started to rapidly fire at the two stone slabs that she had kicked earlier. Piece by piece the two slabs broke into many different jagged pieces. With another gust of wind, Tiffany pushed the pieces towards Kurai again, falling almost as if they were meteorites. Tiff then jumped off the pillar she was surfing on, aiming it so that it would fall on Kurai. With an elegant twirl she pointed her gun downwards towards Kurai. Another glyph appeared around her gun and as she pulled the trigger showers of blue beams shot out like shooting stars towards Kurai.
Tiffany finished it off by landing behind Kurai, kneeling in a very heroic position. The corner of her eye caught the sight of Kurai as she started to think to herself. Ok Kurai, let's see how fast you can think.
By this time, thunder could be heard from outside. The dark clouds blocked sight of the sun above them. The only source of light was the lighting illuminating within the clouds. The storm was coming...
