The Treachu Royal Palace Banquet Hall (Courtyard)
Outside the Royal Banquet Hall is a small serene courtyard where guests can escape the feast. The King has kindly provided more “human chairs” so that you may sit in comfort and enjoy the views. Comfy pillows adorn the seats and cool detailed tiles cover the floor. Scattered throughout the courtyard are plants and flowers, some of them even produce fruit! You should probably ask one of the servants if it’s okay to eat the fruit though; the King might get mad!

After a day of scouring the palace, Gabriel grew tired started to look for a place to sit and rest. He felt he needed to find one quickly. When he stumbled across the Banquet Hall, a huge grin came across his face.
Finally, the type of place I was looking for. Gabriel walked through the doorway and his eyes almost immediately caught sight of of a big, comfy couch. Just as soon as he saw it, he jumped right onto it and positioned himself to get comfortable.
"Alright, time to get some rest," Gabriel yawned. He stretched and laid himself flat on the couch, his long black hair falling all over his face in the process. His ears were sticking out as well. And in no time soon, Gabriel fell asleep.

Akimi strolled right in with an obvious bounce in her step, peering around herself through bright, awestruck eyes. This place was amazing! And hot. It was very hot. She had tied her sweatshirt around her waist, and rolled her pants up to her knees. Beneath the sweatshirt she was wearing a wife beater type top, and though she was dressed as, and pretending to be, a boy, she had to leave it on. Hopefully this wouldn't blow her cover... Maybe she could pretend that she'd kept it on because she was shy?
"Uaahh~!" she cried, arms reaching high over her head as she stretched her short frame upwards, and then let her hands drop back by her sides. "This place is pretty neat. It's nice to be away from home, isn't it, Zexon?" she asked cheerfully in her slightly modified voice. She was wearing a necklace with a little skull, but this was secretly what masked her alien features and made her voice sound deeper. She could use it to make her breasts invisible as well, so she could take off her shirt, but she'd still be aware of them and in the end it'd just be much too awkward to try.
Zexon revealed himself as a little kangaroo mouse. Upon hearing his name, he peeked from the bag Aki wore on her shoulder, and then hopped up and took to standing upon her head, peering about as his long tail swished behind him. Akimi strode a bit further into the area, peering around curiously as she brushed her blue hair from her face. A moment later, emerald eyes focused upon a male resting upon a couch. "Oh, shhh~" she giggled, pressing a finger to her lips as she crept past him. "He's sleeping... Maybe the gravity here is too tiring? Maybe I should pretend to be tired too..." she spoke softly to herself, her expression growing concerned. She was trying to pretend she was human, after all.

Gabriel thought he heard a loud noise, since his ears first picked it up by shaking a bit. He rose his head to see a young lady and kangaroo mouse.
He moved his hair out of his face and continued staring at her, or in his case, him. "Hello?" He said, rubbing his eyes. Gabriel fixed his clothes a little as well, since thery were a bit wrinkled due to his position when sleeping.

"Ah!" Akimi yelped, springing back as his eyes widened. He stared at him blankly for a second or two, and then reached up, snatching the little kangaroo rat from his head. "Zexon, you woke him up! Gosh, you're so loud," he scolded, and the tiny creature just stared back at him with a blank look, likely used to this behavior.
Gently, Aki set him back upon his shoulder, and offered the man an apologetic smile. "Sorry, we didn't mean to wake you. But then again... Why are you wasting your trip sleeping?" he added, looking somewhat alarmed. He was swaying in place, bouncing and squirming, as if standing still was the hardest thing on earth. It might've been, for him. The sweatshirt around his waist was bumping against the back of her legs, swishing side to side, with the strangest looking lump beneath it. Yet, there was nothing there to create the indent, just air. Aki didn't notice.

"Oh, that's okay." Gabriel smiled sweetly back. He noticed the boy swaying back and fourth and thought it was quite odd, but amusing at the same time.
"I take it you have trouble staying still?" He asked. "And to answer your question, I wasn't wasting my trip sleeping, I just wanted to take a little rest is all, not that is seems that you're the type to know anything about that." Gabriel closed his eyes and scratched his head. He sometimes is a little groggy when he wakes up, well more so is woken up.

"Well, it's a good thing I woke you up then!" Aki exclaimed in complete earnest. "You might've napped away your time here! Or the food!" Like the creatures of this planet, he'd never experienced Thanksgiving. He'd noticed this male's pointed ears and wondered if it was the same for him. He definitely wasn't the type to nap, if that wasn't obvious already. He'd downed who knew how many energy drinks on the way up here, and paired with candy and pocky, he was on one huge sugar high.
"Ah!" he cried suddenly, jolting a little in place, as if he'd suddenly been shocked. His hand lurched out, offering itself to the taller male, as he tipped his head back to watch his face, his own beaming broadly. "I'm Aki!" he announced cheerfully, then nodded his head toward the little kangaroo rat on his shoulder. "And this is Zexon! It's nice to meet you!"

"Well hello there Aki. I'm Gabriel. It'a a pleasure to meet you." He took Aki's hand and shook it. He really hasn't spoken to or met anyone on this trip, so this was a nice change for him. "It's nice to meet you too, Zexon," he smiled generously.
"Now that we're acquainted, allow me to ask you a question. So, have you been exploring the place too? And what was with the sudden jolt?" Gabriel said with a playful smile on his face and hands on his hips.

Akimi beamed up at him, smile unwavering and body almost trembling with barely contained excitement. He wanted to run, leap, bound around the courtyard and more~! But for now, he was trying to make a friend, and wishing this friend didn't appear so lazy. Though, he also seemed nice, and Aki shook his hand energetically and chuckled as Zexon was spoken too as well. The little kangaroo rat even seemed to nod his head politely in return.
"What jolt?" Aki asked, still grinning, but with a curious tilt to his head. "...oh!" he cried a second later, clapping his hands together. "I'd realized I hadn't asked your name, or given mine. It was so rude of me!" Still, the smile did not falter in the slightest. He started bouncing, rocking forward and back on her heels. "I haven't been exploring too much yet... This is stop number one!" One of his hands lifted, pointer finger extended to indicate the count. Then, suddenly both arms flew wide apart, nearly smacking his new found friend. "But I want to see everything!"

"Woah! You gotta watch where you're swinging your arms there, kid," Gabriel said as he grabbed Aki's arms. He laughed and smiled. "Man, you're just one heaping ball of energy, aren't you? Well, I guess that's the attitude that comes with cute kids," he said with a smile still plastered on his face. He looked at the boy and thought he had a charming personality.
"So!" Gabriel said with a clap. "Judging by your body language, it seems that I'm keeping you. Where do you want to go?" He a finger to his chin and a questioning expression crossed his face. "Better yet, when are they serving dinner? I'm starving a little!" Gabriel smiled as he rubbed his belly for emphasis.

"Oops, sorry!" Aki cried, still grinning and not really looking sorry in the slightest. Still bouncing in place, despite his grasping his arms, he just kept on staring around completely at ease and overloaded with excitement... and sugar. Cute kids? Aw, how silly~ "You think I'm cute?" he chuckled, batting his eyelashes playfully as he continued wiggling in place, but then paused as he clapped his hands.
His arms dropped back by his sides, and he stared back, looking confused, and then ecstatic. "You're gonna play with me?!" he cried, eyes growing wide. Then he paused again, glancing around the garden. "...I don't know but, if you're hungry..." He wandered off to the side, approaching a plant with some foreign purple fruit growing from its limbs. He hesitated, then leaned forward, took a sniff, and promptly plucked it right off. "Here, try-"
"Hey you! You can't take that!"
Aki froze, eyes widening as he stared over toward the lizardman that'd just shouted at him. So of course, he did the only logical thing one could do in this situation. He snatched up three more fruits, balanced them in his arm, then grabbed Gabriel's wrist with his other hand, and took off at a sprint.

"Aki! What the heck are doing?! Are you trying to get us kicked out of the palace or something?!" Gabriel screamed as Aki grabbed him and dragged them both out the room. He turned around to see the lizardman coming after them.
"Maybe you should apologize to him before we get in even bigger trouble, Aki." He said, trying to be the voice of reason. "Just give the fruits back or something! I may be hungry, but not enough to get busted for something! Aki! Are you listening to me?!!" Gabriel was pratically going into a frantic frenzy over this.

Akimi responded to Gabriel's panic with a bout of cheerful laughter. "It's just fruit!" he cried, beaming up at his taller companion, now turned partner in crime. "C'mon, we're not going to let him catch us! Think of it as a game of tag!" He grinned broadly, moving quickly given the heavier gravity here. It might as well not affect him at all. He dragged the elf a few more paces, before suddenly stopped. Though, it wasn't to return the fruit or anything silly like that. "Alright, watch this!"
He spun on his heel, plucked something from his pocket, and raised it high in the air. It was tiny, held almost too small to see between his thumb and pointer finger. He shot Gabriel another grin, and then tossed the tiny metallic object into the ground at his own feet. Instantly, a heavy puff of bluish smoke sprang up, easily thick enough to hide them from view. "You'll never catch us! Ahahaaa~!" And with that, Aki grabbed Gabriel's wrist once more, and raced off with him out of the courtyard. "To freedom~!"

Oh my god. I'm with a psychopath here!
Those were Gabriel's thoughts as Aki shot him a cynical grin and thought of this chase as nothing more than fun and games. He squinted as he saw Akimi pull something out of his pocket. As the boy tossed the near microscopic item into the air, Gabriel almost jumped as the blue puff of smoke filled the room a bit. As Aki grabbed the elf's arm again and dragged him out of the courtyard, another thougt ran through the Gabriel's mind.
Aki, where are you taking us now?
[umm...how about we go to the gardens? that's the only place i can think of right now ^^]

"How did you find out about this stuff Kefarun?" the blonde asked quietly, with a large grin on his face. Sawyer sat on the grounds of the courtyard, a few fruits laying on the ground around him. To his right sat Talon, who also had the fruits sitting near him as well, while Kefarun sat in front of both of them. The smaller male took a small blue fruit and began to squish it in his hands, the juices inside staining his hands blue before he reached up to his hair and ran it through his golden locks. The juices stained a few small streaks through his hair. The blue streaks sat nicely along side a few pink streaks and a couple green ones as well. Talon's hands were covered in pink while the old Treachu was covered in green juices. The scaled man placed another line of color through the small man's hair before his wise, rough voice echoed out softly from his several shards of teeth.
"Well scale-less one, When you've been around as long as I have you learn things. Where as you would eat these, we can use them as a polish for our scales." the lizard-lizard man shared with the younger two. Soon he began to ramble on and on about his years of time, sharing stories of his battles in the army and a few other interesting facts about certain things on his planet. While Sawyer sat listening to the tales, Talon began to grow bored. As he went to stand, Sawyer's hand moved onto the demon's leg and pushed him down.
'What I'm so bo-"
"Wait for it"
Sawyer pointed at the the old lizard. His cyan eyes slowly began to dip closed and his words began to slur together as the wave of sleep grew over him. Soon enough the lizard began to let out a low snore and the two boys stood. Lifting up the fruits, Sawyer threw the pink one to Talon while he took the blue and green ones, putting them in the bag. Talon began to munch on the pink one while Sawyer patted the old lizard on the shoulder before they strolled out of the Courtyard.
