This was another larger class, though he wasn't too sad about that. The more eager minds to learn the better. Of course he hoped it would go better than the last few classes he had...the students just seemed to find this class useless and it broke his heart. Didn't they realize that all this information was practical? Even if you never went to visit Hell or even less likely Heaven there was a lot of useful information in his teachings! At least he thought so.

He sat in his chair pouring over a dusty tomb like always. His name scraweled over the chalk board in large flowing stylus the room dimly lit with only candles. Now to just wait for his students.

Vincent had never been to a class that wasn't one on one before, due to his mother's homeschool tactics and the classes he'd had here at the facility. He was actually quite curious to see how it would turn out. The teenager walked into the classroom casually. He looked at the chalk board. Having a mother who worked at the facility as a teacher was usually to his advantage--he knew several of the teachers. Not this time; Mr. Zyane was new to him.

He decided to introduce himself, since he was the first person there besides the teacher. "Hello," he said with a polite smile. "I'm Vincent, though most people call me Vinny--I would prefer it if you called me that. What are we learning today?"

Ebony entered after a while, wrapped up in a long coat and a scarf. She smiled, waving to the teacher before turning to greet Vinny. "Hey Vinny." she said cheerily. The teen turned once more to stare at the writing upon the board, not being too good at reading flowy writing from how many people she knew who wrote in scrawl.

"Mr. Zyane?" she asked of the teacher, blinking a bit, "Am I pronouncing that right?"

Dane detested the cold weather, this time of the year was horrible for the green skinned teen. He wanted to be at the beach, in his bathing suit, in the water, but during the winter he didn't have that chance. He thought about this a bit as he walked into the classroom taking off a coat to reveal a wifebeater and shorts, apparently you could take the kid out of the beach but not the beach out of the kid.

He glanced around the room and waved a bit to the teacher with a bit of a "Hello," Before grabbing a desk and leaning back in it. He looked at the chalkboard to decipher the name before looking at the other two kids in the classroom, neither looked familiar to him.

Thrilled to have not only three students arrive on time but to actually have on inquisitive and the other two at least polite and friendly was like a dream come true! Finally a productive class! Or at least so he hoped. Moving he smiled at Vincent or 'Vinny' as he preferred,
"I am Thaddeus Zyane, you managed to get my name spot on my dear lady. That is quite a feat." He started off with a smile, he then flared out his cape in a rather dramatic fashion.

"As to what we will be learning today well! Your in for a treat! All sorts of tidbits I'd say about the different realms and how it relates to your genetics." He continued in a dramatic tone of voice as he then pointed to the board, he took a peice of chalk in hand and then drew four horizontal lines across he labeled each divided section. Heaven for the upper most post, Mortal realm, Hell and then at the very bottom...the Underworld. He then thickened the lines that divided them all as the Void or Barrier.

"First off! Did anyone have any other questions?"

Vincent was instantly interested; though that wasn't saying much. He was always interested, always curious, and always willing to listen like the polite teenager he was. He was secretly relieved that he knew at least one of the other students. "Hey Ebony," he said, returning her greeting with a smile. His attention went back to the teacher, tri-colored eyes watching the man's every movement.

" What kind of realms?" he asked, blinking. "You mean like... Heaven, and that other place? Limbo?" Yes, Vincent was still shy about saying hell; he didn't like the idea that demons lived there. He found the answer on the chalk board, and smiled sheepishly. "So what's the Barrier?" He wondered aloud. "And what's the difference between the Underworld and well... you know. I've always been taught they were the same thing." And what was the Void? But he self-conciously thought that he had already asked too many questions, and fell silent.

Ebby scratched her head a bit, looking at Vinny again. "Limbo? I thought that was in the middle, between Heaven and Hell. I didn't know there was a Void or an Underworld either." she inquired, looking a bit confused, "Mom always said Limbo was called that because it was in between and the game limbo was called that cause you had to go above it or below it but couldn't go straight through." It was a strange analogy but the one she thought of none the less.

She turned, waving a bit to the green boy who had entered after them before smiling up at Mr. Zyane. "I learned a bit about Heaven before. I asked Colaer about it when I visited her. It's not very colorful."

Dane smiled and gave a small wave back at the girl as he settled into his desk. He pulled a notebook out even though he doubted he'd be using it much.

When his attention turned to the teacher as he explained Dane looked at the realms, fairly aware of the three but the voids were a bit different, "I've heard of the realms before...but what's with the voids? Are they a sort of realm in their own like, can you get stuck in them?" He asked as he held his hand in the air lazily.

Zyane gave a bit of a smile at the use of the word Limbo. It didn't accurately describe hell but it worked.

"Yes there is the Celestial world, the Mortal world, the Demonic world, and the Underworld. The difference between the Deomic world and the Underworld is quite vast. As in...no one...except the souls of the dead can enter the Underworld. The barrier is the strongest there. No one except Mother earth and the Death Gods are able to enter and guide souls." He explained gently.

"As to the Void. The Void is an expanse of space which more accurately fits the description of Limbo. The Wriaths live there, the wraiths are creatures that are tormented souls. The only way to safely enter the void is through your dreams. If you try and force your way through the barrier by entering with your body....well..a single touch from a wraith can kill you instantly. And then your soul will join them in their need to protect the barrier."

He then turned his attention to Ebony, "THat's right, M'dear. Heaven...can be beautiful, it isn't situated on fluffy clouds but everying is in order. Nothing is out of place and everything has a purpose. It can be stifling."

At the next question he paused a moment, "The Voids...act as a Barrier between the worlds. It was created long ago...though really only in the last couple of centuries as a way to stop the wars between the demons and the angels. Since their fights often occured in the middle ground..so the mortal plain we all reside in currently, you can imagine if left to their own design our world most likely would of become devoid of life as an aftermath of their constant battles." He explained, "As to what the voids really are.... they are like their own small worlds. But the only way to safely enter it is through your dreams. If your physical body were to try and cross the void you'd come face with the wraiths..as I had already explained."

That certainly answered all of Vincent's questions, but the teenager was frowning ever so slightly. "But my mom told me when people die, they go to Heaven--or the other place," he said, his frown growing. Had his mother lied to him? She had seemed in earnest when she'd explained. "And Heaven's supposed to be a place with streets of gold, and everything's milk and honey." He thought that was how it went anyway.

Vincent took out a pencil and a notebook, and opened it to the first page. He wrote his name in the corner, before looking back at the teacher. "What are wraiths?" he asked, thinking about a certain movie where wraiths had once been kings of men under control of a certain Giant Eye. "Are they like... Ghosts?" A realm only safe to enter in dreams? Huh. He wrote; 'Voids-Unsafe worlds.'

"Colaer said everything was pretty much white. But she's blind so I don't know if I should take that statement for too much." Ebby commented to Vinny. "I don't particularly want to go there when I die though. I don't think I could live in a place that orderly."

She smiled up at the teacher, jotting a few things down on a little penpad she'd had in her pocket. "So the voids are like the big locks on the cages to keep the demons and angels out of each other's hair. But then how do we get such a vast number here?"

Dane leaned back in his desk and idly chewed on the butt of his pen. The teen seemed either lost in thought or just daydreaming. He pondered though what all these realms had to do with how they were created and what they were created for.
"Well that's interesting and all," Dane spoke up, "But what does all this have to do with what we were created from and why? I mean aside from that's obviously where they're all from," He asked while he continued to gaze toward the front of the class.

Zyane looked to Vincent and then the others pleased they had questions and he still had answers to give them.

"Well, yes and no. When people die their souls go to the underworld. It is a temporary place where souls wait to be reborn. It is rumoured that depending on your actions whilst you were alive can influence weither you are reborn as a demon, angel, mortal, or even more rare a nuetral.

But of course this is all figuratively speaking...since no one is able to go there and you don't ever recal your time in the underworld. The wraiths are gaurdians of the barriers. They are souls that were assigned to the wall to help protect it. They usually are strong souls that resist going to the underworld. You could call them ghosts...but they have been warped with their constant gaurding. Magic is what binds them to the barrier. Hence why it is unlikely to have ever seen one."

He turned to Ebony at her question and then frowned a bit and nodded his head,
"Unfortunately the barrier isn't fool proof. In a desire to get around or through it, magic has been manipulated to create gate ways. ...You can blame humans for...introducing the magic to the demons. " He replied with a cough, he then gesutred towards the summoning circle that was on the floor in the corner of the room.

"Once you are aware of something it is quite hard to just...forget about it. So humans tended to try and figure out WHY the demons and angels suddenly dissapeared. Magic..found a way to skip the barrier," He expained as he began to pace,
"Portals, summoning circles work..in different ways. THe portal is like a pool that allows you to take your body from this world to the next. A Summoning circle allows you to yank a person from one to the next. They are both extremely tricky and powerful forms of magic. " He cautioned,
"So when demons figured out how to make it work they mimicked it. But only powerful demons are able to travel freely between worlds. Lesser demons can be sent through portals if one was left open for example. It merly acts like a door after all..leave it unlocked and anyone can wander through. "

He looked to Dane a smirk on his face,
"Well I am just a teacher, but I am figuring that the boss wants his creations to know where they have come from. I recal having history classes when I was a wee lad. Why should it be no different for you? Or the others who come from here? Knowing where your DNA stems from is vaulable information..." He stated witha nod again.

Vincent took down some notes, slightly confused. So people were reborn as angels, demons and neutrals? This didn't sound even remotely close to what his mother had told him. Who was he to tell the teacher he was wrong? After all, the man probably knew what he was talking about. He would be sure to correct her, when he got home. He was sure she'd like that. "I don't have any more questions," he said, addressing the teacher with a smile.

He noted the summoning circle, and a frown crossed his face. He hoped they wouldn't be summoning anyone today.

Ebony thought on this for a bit, nodding. "I do think Drake said something about him having been a dragon before. Or I heard it somewhere, I don't quite remember. This kinda makes me wonder what the others used to be." the girl said idly before smiling up at Zyane.
