The Treachu Royal Palace

The main palace is located high in the mountains of Kaysune where it floats among the clouds. The architecture is reminiscent of the Moroccan palaces on Earth, with clean tan walls and high curving arches. The palace itself is surrounded by a high wall which serves as a barrier between the palace and the outside world. It is of note that in the thousands of years since the palace’s construction, the wall has not once been breached. Students will enter here at the main gates and then file in through the front entrance. Don’t worry if you are out of breath! The high altitude and gravity affect the amount of oxygen in the air. Students should be careful not to overexert themselves!
The interior of the palace is just as regal as its very King. Elegant chandeliers adorn the ceilings at regular intervals casting bright light upon luxurious marble floors. Students should take care not to slip; the Treachu maintain the palace with a meticulous eye and clean frequently. The end result is a sparkling vista of white and gold. High columns line the halls giving way to side corridors and rooms. The columns themselves are very intricate with delicate motifs carved into the heads and feet. The Treachus take great pride in their architecture and it is on full display throughout the palace. Students should not forget to look at the ceilings where great frescos of Treachu history have been painted.
If students are feeling lost there are plenty of Treachu servants running around the main hall and surrounding corridors. Most will be happy to help, unless they are on a dire errand for the King or Princess! Students should also refer to the maps given to them in their orientation packets so as not to get lost. Most activities within the main palace will be formal, including the grand feast to be held in the banquet hall located behind the palace. Lodgings are located within Eiyah's Day Palace, students can get more information at the Day Palace.
