||This is a Modidaeva only RP. I will consider letting some others in for the laughs. x3||

Ayashii's black paws smouldered the grass as she walked along the forest floor. Not another soul was in sight. It was nothing new to her; she had grown accustomed to such solitude over the long, dreadful years. She had almost forgotten what company was like. She had met a 'Phim, a very acceptant 'Phim, who she guessed was almost as old as she. But she almost feared running into 'Daevas again, like herself. But she was only a halfbreed, therefore wasn't truly a 'Daeva. It made her interesting, though, as she had found out.

She did wonder where the rest of her family was, Akuma, Sheba, and Frenka. She knew her father, Akatsu, had been dead for a very long time. She wondered if they had kids, which they probably did. She had heard the rumours that drifted through the lands, Akuma's kits assulted by a possessed youger brother, Akuma having kits with some 'Daeva when they both had lifemates. 'What a whore,' she thought to herself, even though she didn't know the full story.

The 'Daeva eventually came to a fairly large clearing in the forest, the rays of sunlight barely able to penetrate the thick canopy of pine needles above. She sighed, sitting down and curling her tail around her paws. Loneliness was painful after a while.

User Image

Uso flipped his long, green hair, a lock of long, curled hair settling in front of his left eye. He growled with agitation. That one lock of damned curly hair was so persistant; it never moved. He tossed his head again with no avail. He wondered what others would think if they saw him flipping his head in such a manner, though it wouldn't matter. The art of intimidation was a friend of Uso, not to mention he was a compulsive liar, which showed itself to be helpful on numerous occasions.

Black and green flames danced around his paws like slaves to his will, burning as the traveled along with his stride. He loved the destruction such little things could cause.

He eventually came to a rather large clearing, menacing green eyes settling on another female 'Daeva sitting down with her tail curled around her paws. He smirked. "Grow tired of the walk?" he asked, a teasing tone twined with his voice.

Ayashii looked up at him and sighed, turning her head away. "Indeed," she replied. Her luck was obviously not on her side today.

User Image

Mykonice soared through the air, blending in with the clear blue sky. She flew at a great speed, exhilirated by the act of flying. 'The Modiphims should consider themselves lucky,' she snarled. 'Such idiots should never have been granted the gift of flight.' She continued her way along, thinking of her mate, Li. She couldn't remember the last time she had seen him. It prodded her heart a bit, but she found that her care for him was diminishing every day. Being free like the wind was a gift that no one could compare to.

She saw lights flickering below, a slight green and black. She swooped down, curiousity getting the better of her. She landed neatly in between two 'Daevas like herself, a female and a male. "My apologies," she stated, moving out of the way. "You two would understand the difficulties of landing, no?"

Uso grinned and nodded in response to the new 'Daeva. "It's understandable," he replied, nodding his head at her.

Osoreru

Bangles chimed on his paws as he prowled along. The scent of other 'Daevas manifested in his nostrils. How did he know they were 'Daevas? They just had a darker scent; it was hard to decribe. It had been some time since he consorted with others of his kind. He was only three-fourths 'Daeva, but it was close enough. He continued his way along, the other forms coming into view. He remembered Aodh and Rai and how they were rather odd for 'Daevas, but they were only half, so it was understandable.

He came into the clearing, gaze flicking back and forth between the three of them. "Afternoon," he said, not really knowing what else to say.

Mykonice nodded at the newcomer. "Greetings."

Akutenshi

A growl escaped her as she sauntered through the forest. She didn't know why she was so aggravated, she just was. Akutenshi found that she need no reason to be how she was, and therefore most chose to avoid her and her toxic personality. She didn't mind it either. She didn't even enjoy the company of her own shadow. How that was possible? Hell, she didn't know. She didn't need to, ever. It wasn't the business of others, only her own.

She came into the clearing without even realizing it. "Why hello there guys," she said in an agitated tone.

Osoreru looked at her, eyes narrowing slightly. "Hello," he replied, still at a loss of what to say.

Tanoki padded her way through the forest, humming a dark melody to herself. She usually didn't find herself wondering around during the day time but the forest was so thick in most places that Tanoki could barely see the sun. Surprisingly, it was actually a pretty day to be out and about, something which did not happen often.

As she walked along, Tanoki caught the scent of another 'Daeva nearby. Wait... Make that two.... No three.... Or was it five now? Ah yes. Five....

Wait, what? Tanoki stopped where she was and sniffed the air ahead of her. There definitely seemed to be a gathering of 'Daeva's up ahead. Interesting. Did 'Daeva's here travel in groups? Tanoki had been alone the majority of her life and had never known 'Daeva's to congregate. If this was to be the case, it would be by far the most interesting and strangest land she had wondered into.

Being new to the area and figuring she had nothing to lose, and that at least one of them and already caught her scent or heard her coming, Tanoki pressed on and soon reached the clearing where the others were gathered. Hopefully they wouldn't be to irritable, seeing as how it was a nice day out. And if someone were to start a fight, hopefully they weren't faster than she was.

Maybe, just maybe, she would meet a sane 'Daeva... Well as sane as 'Daeva's can be anyway.

"Greetings. I hope I am not interrupting."

The scent of Daeva's in a group was almost maddening to him, and he had followed it for a fair distance. After all, most of them were warmongering brutes that barely knew which end of their body was were their head was attached. The downside to that level of stupidity was the fact that bathing, for some of them, seemed to be a rarity. It was only a faint odor, but distinct enough for him, which meant at least these Daeva's knew what bathing was. He padded his way across the fields that led to the forested area and stopped briefly. He hadn't fully healed from his play with Ayashii and still had a bit of blood in his feathers. He would just have to deal with it, it wasn't as though he was badly wounded, perhaps a Daeva would actually be foolish enough to pick a fight with him, though he could tell he was vastly outnumbered.

'Or perhaps you could learn a thing or two about them. You are after all, far more open minded than some of your self righteous kin.... Idiot.'

He took a deep breath, and then padded his way quietly into the forest, hoping to at least go unnoticed for a few moments, though he knew it was rather unlikely, standing out was something he was good at.

Her spirits lifted when a familiar scent wafted through the air, filling her nostrils with every breath she drew. She would have smiled, but she would rather not have the other 'Daevas questioning her about why she was smiling to herself. Her friend was here, which she was almost sure they would have an issue against due to the fact that he was a Modiphim. She sighed, anxiously scuffing the ground in front of her with her claws. The last thing Ayashii wanted was a fight to start.

Uso redirected his attention to Ayashii, looking at her with some curiosity. He took note of her anxiety, green eyes narrowing ever so slightly. "What's wrong with you, 'Daeva?" he snapped. The girl was acting like a normal fox in the presence of 'Daevas. He found it slightly agitating. The normals were little pests, and he found that he detested consorting with that kind. Her actions were beginning to test his patience since they were similar to that kind. The only thing Uso despised more than a normal fox was an accursed Modiphim.

He sniffed the air and immediately growled afterwards. The scent was horrid and he wrinkled his nose. "Do you all smell that?" he snarled, flicking an ear in agitation.

Mykonice could safely say that she wasn't paying attention to Uso. Her attention was directed to the new 'Daeva approaching them. Another black and red 'Daeva like that fairly young male across from her and the vixen Uso was picking on. Mykonice shook her head in response to the newcomer. "You aren't. It's rare that we congregate in such a manner," she replied, flipping her light blue hair. She found that she was the brightest out of all these characters who appeared here.

Osoreru turned his head towards Uso, examining the grimace on the other 'Daeva's face. "It's just a 'Phim," he stated with a half-hearted chuckle. 'Just a 'Phim... What a joke.' This 'Phim was that Blaze he knew all too well, a 'Phim who he could safely call a friend. He could imagine Blaze here now in front of Uso who reminded Osoreru of himself in the not-so-distant past. Blaze would probably deal with Uso much like he dealt with him. Osoreru gulped at the thought. It wouldn't be a pretty sight, and Uso seemed like he was far more prone to physical attacks that he ever was... Osoreru almost began to fear for Blaze's safety, but then remembered that he could fend for himself... Easily.

Akutenshi almost scoffed at what seemed like concern on Osoreru's part. "What do you mean 'just a 'Phim'? The thing is invading our presence and coming closer rather than averting away," she growled, glaring at the black 'Daeva. "That's one of the most absurd things I've ever heard in my life."

Finally he reached where all the 'Daeva had gathered and he nonchalantly sauntered into the open, and then looked somewhat astonished by what he found. He stared at them all with maw agape, in complete shock (perhaps even in awe to the more 'Arrogant' among the group.) before shaking his head to 'snap' himself out of his mock surprise. He then pretended to be nervous, and his eyes darted from side to side, as though he were prey caught in a trap. He admittedly, loved to put on a show, and he was damn good at it.

"Uhh... Oops, wrong party. This is totally not what I expected... If you'll all kindly excuse me.."

He took a short step back and then hesitated again, making sure to shift his wings a bit to make the blood on them more noticeable. His gaze shifted to lock on Uso then turning again to Akutenshi and then finally to Mykonice. He pretended even more so that he didn't notice Osoreru or Ayashii, though he was very distinctly aware of their presence, and he hoped they would play into his little charade.

(I'm going to post for Kurotama and Blaze separately to make it easier on me and thus people are more so aware of which one is which. Since I'm only RPing two, I figure that would just make life easier.)

Her head rose from her paws as her blackened ears caught the sounds of other foxes, and the tones, the tones reminded her of her kind. Other 'Daeva, in her territory, was an unacceptable intrusion. Then the 'Stench' reached her nose and her fur bristled and her maw contorted into rage as she let out a snarl. The 'Phim was even more unwelcome, and now, it was time to deal with the intruders.

Her bones cracked as she rose, as she had been slumbering for some time, not to mention it took some effort to raise her body. She was in great shape, she was just large for a 'Daeva. She easily stood a shoulder taller than most 'Daeva and was built entirely for power, though she hated the way she was at times, as it usually put off potential mates.

She stretched for a moment before lumbering off in the direction of the interlopers, they would know the name Kurotama by the end of the day, and they would respect it, if not fear it.

Ayashii cocked her head to one side as she saw Blaze acting much like... A frightened kit in the presence of six 'Daevas rather than himself. 'What is he doing?', she thought to herself. Her eyes narrowed for only a mere moment before they opened again, realizing that he was just playing around. Her gaze flicked to Uso and Ayashii glowering down at the 'Phim. They were definitely stereotypical 'Daevas and from what Ayashii heard from her nephew, Osoreru, Blaze was not a particular fan of such. Her eyes then rested on Mykonice and Tanoki. She didn't know how they really acted, but she guessed from Mykonice's rather obtrusive landing that she was pretty damn close to Uso's level. Ayashii didn't know much about Tanoki yet and quiet frankly she didn't want to. Hell, she didn't know anyone's name here aside from Osoreru and Blaze. She didn't want to know any of these guys aside from those two.

Ayashii looked at Osoreru, curious on if he figured out Blaze's ploy yet.

Osoreru caught Ayashii eyeing him from his spot and almost immediately figured out what she meant by it. He inconspicuously nodded his head once at her; he knew what Blaze was up to. He had known Blaze long enough to know that he was the sort of fox who would toy with the 'Daevas. If Blaze could teach him a lesson or two and turn him into a somewhat decent fox, he could probably do that to most... Probably not. The other male 'Daeva here, the black, white, and green one, seemed ten times worse than himself. He began to wonder how Blaze was going to put up with him or if he would be tolerant of his nature at all. Osoreru knew he almost pushed Blaze to his limits. He almost didn't want to know what was going to happen now.

The main question Osoreru had was why was Blaze doing this? Osoreru did know that Blaze enjoyed having a bit of fun here and there, but why in front of such an arrogant b*****d like the black, white, and green 'Daeva? Oh well, Blaze had his reasons.

He sighed, reverting his gaze back to Uso. "See? It's not like he came with an army."

Uso growled, glaring at Osoreru. "He's still a 'Phim. I don't know why you're being so lenient with it," he snapped, nostrils flaring. He lashed his white, puffy tail, green and black flames flickering erratically. One could clearly tell that he was quite irritated with Osoreru.

He snapped his head in the direction of the cowering 'Phim. "Your mistake. Do you even know what we are, boy? he hissed. This 'Phim would be dealt with like any other one: harshly. He detested their free spirits, their charisma, their very essence. He just despised them.

Well this certainly was interesting. The first thing Tanoki noticed as she entered the clearing of 'Daeva's was brightest one, with colors that reminded her of an open clear daytime sky, who had addressed her. "I see. I guess it's just my luck to arrive on such a rare occasion." The blue one seemed to be the calmest. Tanoki took in the other four. The male and female of green, white, and black colors seemed to be on edge or uneasy about something. Of the black, white and red 'Daeva's, the female seemed anxious and the male, a little to nonchalant. It didn't seem like that had acknowledged her presence, which Tanoki didn't mind much.

She was about to ask why the others seemed so tense when she smelt the approaching 'Phim. Ah. It seemed she had come across a few more of her kind that could not stand their counter part. Though she herself wasn't to fond of them, she did not detest or hate them. Where there was light, there was darkness. Where there was a Modidaeva, there would be a Modiphim.

As the 'Phim arrived, Tanoki took a few more steps into the clearing and settled herself next to the blue 'Daeva who had spoken to her. From where she sat she observed the 'Phims actions and the other 'Daeva's reactions. She decided that she would lay low unless the 'Phim needed help. Hopefully it could fend for itself and she would not need to make enemies by getting involved.

((Sorry if I make mistakes in my grammar or spelling lol Trying to keep up with the events XD))

Mykonice looked at the other female and nodded. "Indeed it is. I don't think anyone here is particularly used to it," she replied, glancing at the others. She did hate the 'Phim kind, but she would rather insult from afar rather than get into a physical fight like the two black, white, and green 'Daevas looked like they were ready to do. Her gaze rested on the 'Phim, tail flicking from side to side. He seemed like any other 'Phim, timid and somewhat frightened in the presence of 'Daevas. She wondered why he hadn't flown off yet, then noticed his injured wings. Blood matted the white feathers, flecks dispersed randomly about. She sighed, hoping the others would let him go.

Mykonice then turned back to the red and black 'Daeva beside her, trying to take her mind off the current situation. "I'm Mykonice."
PostPosted: Fri Nov 27, 2009 10:51 pm

His head turned towards Uso, though he kept his eyes to the ground. It was, after all, rude to look your 'superiors' in the eye. He shifted from paw to paw somewhat nervously and his tail lowered to the ground, falling deathly still. He opened his maw to speak, and no sound would come out for a moment, and then words formed, though he stammered as he spoke.

"W-Well... You're all 'D-'Daeva... Sir."

After he said 'Daeva', he looked as though he was ready to flee in utter terror. Like the stereotypical 'Phim to them. However, he was fairly certain that Uso would do something incredibly foolhardy due to his arrogance, and it would be then that a lesson would be taught to all the 'Daeva here.

"M-My mother always t-told me to s-s-stay away from 'D-'Daeva..."

That, none of them would be able to confirm as truth. Even Osoreru did not know that Blaze never knew his mother, simply that he knew she had passed on. He also did not really 'know' his father, he simply knew of him. What he said however, seemed like the right thing to say when you were being stared down by six 'Daeva and you just happened to be the rather unfortunate 'Phim who stumbled upon them.

"The wretch knows something," he hissed, taking a few steps towards the 'Phim. It was all most pathetic how frightened this... abomination looked. "And do you know why your dear b***h of a mother told you to stay away from 'Daevas?" It was amazing how he could be so brazen around 'Phims without even acknowledging the fact that even a normal 'Phim could inflict some damage if he or she wished to do so. They were not as weak and piteous as the normal foxes. Then again, the only fight that Uso remembered that he had some difficulty in was the one against his older brother, the one who took a good chunk out of his ear. He flicked the ear with a portion of it missing as he thought. "It's a wonder that I've been able to tolerate your presence this much, Phim," he growled.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 28, 2009 12:00 am

There was the briefest hint of a grin before Blaze moved in a flash. While 'Phims were normally incredibly nimble, Blaze was more so. He was also incredibly strong to boot, and it would become very obvious to Uso, in a very short amount of time, just how potentially dire the mistake he just made could be. Blazes maw latched to Uso's throat, as he used simply his moment to throw the male to the ground, though still holding onto to him where he was most vulnerable. Blaze's entire posture had gone from submissive and wretched to superior and in control in less than half a second. A paw came to slam down on Uso's ribcage, simply to knock the hot air out of the blowhard.

Blaze shifted his eyes from one 'Daeva to the next, making sure they were all very aware of just how serious the situation had become. It had all been an act, and most of them had so blatantly fallen for it. There was something fierce, and sinister about his eyes, something that normally did not belong to a 'Phim. He knew malice, he knew hatred, he knew spite, and he was very capable of using them dependent on the circumstance. This was becoming abundantly clear....

Huh. So these 'Daeva's didn't gather often and most of them weren't used to gathering. Maybe they weren't as weird as she had been expecting them to be. Some of them were fairly bright for their kind, like the blue one next to her, but they seemed pretty normal, as far as 'Daeva's go. Glancing back to the scared looking 'Phim and the arrogant looking 'Daeva, reasoned that some of them were more normal than others, some more... violent looking than others.

Tanoki's gazed shifted from the 'Phim back to the blue 'Daeva next to her as Mykonice gave her name. "Tanoki." She said with a nod. "You, uh, friends with these guys?" Tanoki motioned her head towards the other 'Daeva's and turned just in time to see the 'Phim go from scared to vicious in the time it took to blink.

Tanoki was immediately on her feet again, eyes wide. Yeah, she knew 'Phim's could fend for themselves and she hopped this one could but she was totally not expecting that. Though she couldn't blame him, the arrogant one did probably deserve it.

Uso would have been taken aback by this 'Phim's attack if he had time to react. In mere moments he was lying on the floor pinned by a 'Phim. He snarled, glaring up at the 'Phim's head. His neck was exposed as he glared at the others around them. Uso smirked to himself, realizing that this was going to be far more fun than he thought. After all, he wasn't above any other sadistic, bloodthirsty 'Daeva, nor was he above playing dirty. "Interesting..." he said, the tiniest hint of a growl twined with his words. Uso knew how to fight, this much was certain, no matter who the enemy was, even a crazy 'Phim.

He shoved his paw into Blaze's mouth through one end and out the other. He grinned, forcing his entire arm at Blaze to the very back of his jaws. This always forced the jaws to open, no exceptions. When Blaze released him, he contorted himself in such a way that he stood up in a second, green eyes focused on the 'Phim. Blood oozed from the cuts on his arm, but those didn't bother him at all. One could say Uso was rather masochistic as well. He had grown to enjoy the pain from fighting in so many brawls.

"I'm rather impressed, 'Phim," he said. "No one has ever gotten me in such a precarious position other than my older brother."

Mykonice shook her head. "I, uh, just kind of landed here. I had no idea what was going on," she replied. No more than half a second afterwards, she saw the 'Phim lunge towards the arrogant male 'Daeva and take him down. Her jaw dropped slightly, but she retained her calm demenour. She wasn't going to be a part of this fight. She couldn't say the same for the others, though. "And I still have no idea what's going on," she stated after a few moments, blue eyes flicking over to Tanoki. She curled her tail around her as the black, green, and white 'Daeva forced his arm down the 'Phim's throat and sprang up just as quickly as he was thrown down.

"No one has ever gotten me in such a precarious situation other than my older brother."

When Mykonice heard these words, she grew curious. Who was this guy's older brother? He sounded pretty damn bad, if she did say so herself. She also wondered if that's how a part of his ear went missing...
