The Ninth War marked the downfall of the last of the peaceful Blood Eater clans. Eight previous clans had fallen at the hands of the three that remain today. The brutal battles of the Ninth War spanned over six endless years, causing bloodshed of all the races that resided on Palaise, with aftershocks that affected even the farthest continents. Battles raged everywhere from Valcrest to Icemere, and monuments had been erected everywhere. The most famous and last to stand in one piece can be found at Icemere Pointe, inscripted with the names of each of the soldiers that had fallen, regardless of race or who they fought on behalf of.
