No one knows for certain when the Humans came into existence, but the first documented movement of the Humans occurred approximately six thousand years previous to today. It is written in hundreds of journals found from the burning of Elven Barrowdale and the massacres that occurred at various intervals in time upon Merwynth City. The first movement of Humans was seemingly uneventful but for one name that historians were able to translate from old Commonite to the modern language. The name of the Humans' first king. They called him Artan Praide, and he was glorious. He laid the first and last stones in building Merwynth City, oversaw the creation of Silverkeep Palace (in which he himself resided for the final 60 years of his life), and commissioned the architecture for Valcrest Harbor. His innovations changed the Human race from barbaric to civilized, and altered the course of society as it would have been. His monument stands tall in the very center of Merwynth City.
