Man, wouldn't that be awesome? I would love it if our guild had a theme song! Sorry, but I love theme songs and character songs! Anyway, just a thought!

shouldn't the song be "Under the Sea" from Little Mermaid?
Or should we pick a hymn and change the words for our Great Overseer?

Well, I dunno what our song should be, but it would seem that we're all members of a Blue Oyster Cult, naherrmherrm.

One of the aquarium songs would be obvious.
Ballad of the Overseer anyone? It's a nice song. <3

Smeagle the Great Well, I dunno what our song should be, but it would seem that we're all members of a Blue Oyster Cult, naherrmherrm. I. Laff't.
Somehow, I don't think "Don't Fear the Reaper" fits with our situation, but I'm not that familiar with the band, so they might have other songs that would work.
I'm in favor of "We All Live in a Yellow Submarine" or "Octopus's Garden".

I like The Beatles.
No, wait! Cabbages and Kings from Alice in Wonderland! Gaia is the Walrus who eats all of us clammies (okay, so they're oysters) up! Completely non-repentant!

Nah. If we wanted to go with a Final Fantasy VI song, Awakening, Edgar & Sabin's Theme, Kids Run Through the City, Protect the Espers!, Setzer's Theme, and Searching for Friends would be better.
And why I think that: Awakening: Played first when Terra removes the slave crown. The song is slower, and a bit contemplative. It evokes memories of the past that can no longer be obtained, and were wonderful. It feels like a song for a person that lost something, and we certainly did, and may never get it back. Edgar & Sabin's Theme: A song that right from the very beginning speaks of people with strength and majesty, a noble people. It's the song of a King and his brother, where the King decided to be King not because he wanted to, but because he knew that his brother would have hated it even more than he would and did. It also fits with the majestic theme and the Overseer, who in his humanoid form is by all means a majestic and royal person. Kids Run Through the City: A more peaceful song than the previous two, I think. It speaks more of a calm people, ones that eke out a decent life, living happily, and normally. In the guild, and with the camaraderie, we've formed a strong community, and this theme is hugely appropriate for a kind, peaceful community. Those traits were also displayed to a lesser degree by the Overseer. Protect the Espers!: A song that is much more active. Not exactly dark, but not light either- more confident, I'd say. Confident in yourself and what you can do, but nonetheless you tackle a situation hectic and difficult. With the community that we're in, we've all kept bright moods, never breaking down. Moreover, some have fought for and still are fighting for the return of the Overseer skin, and that's something else that this song has; a tough battle that you're eager to hit head on. Setzer's Theme: A song played as the theme of a gambler in the game. He also has an Airship, and that's one of the main themes of this song, going above, lifting yourself up, and soaring. This song also has decent themes of majesty, but more themes of the majesty of rising in the sky and soaring. So far, quite a few of the members of the guild have risen above the urge to save their avatars out of love for this skin. It fits. Searching for Friends: A theme of an ongoing search, of a group of people that have a future that they need to fight for. I think that that fits this community and this guild because if we don't fight for out skin, it might eventually be wiped out for any number of reasons. The zombie skin of '04 was wiped out because of an avatar rollback or forced save after being disabled, and the same could eventually happen. Those of us that saved our skins that long would be ruined, no longer even a relic of times gone by. Otherwise, we may just fall victim to eventual boredom and change our avatars. Either way, we're on a mission to preserve this skin, and it won't be the easiest one.

Since we're on the topic of Final Fantasy music, I personally think that Floating Continent would be awesome for our theme song. Setzer's Theme is my next choice!
