SO MANY CLASSES, AUGH!!
When Fifth Avenue had initially signed up for this job, he hadn't known that it was going to be so... intensive. But, what was fun, is that he actually had a budget that he was allowed to spend for his classes, which meant that he didn't have to take every single student out to the river. As a matter-of-fact, he'd blown a lot of that budget on his next student, a Gluttony / Liberality boy by the name of Fitzroy who apparently had a knack for gaming.
Well, as much as the teacher was never really the gaming type, he had decent hand-eye coordination, and he was pretty sure that this new student, gluttony side and all that, would rather keep himself fit. Sure, he played soccer as well, but video games, an extremely hearty appetite, and drawing easily outweighed the exercise. So, as a compromise, Fifth had used a portion of his money to purchase all the trimmings for Dance Dance Revolution, two mats for it, and three different games. Who knew; maybe he would be able to use it for another student, too...? Eh. He could really care less.

Fitzroy was honestly amazed that his daddy was letting him walk through the Facility alone, considering he didn't trust a square centimeter of the place. Maybe it had something to do with him growing bigger suddenly. That was the only reason that he could think of as he looked for his classroom, thinking of his dad waiting for him in the lobby. It was weird, that was for sure.
A wide smile grew on both his mouth and Pac-man when he finally found the right classroom. The prospect of going to this mysterious place to be taught some vague 'skill' was honestly very exciting to Fitzroy, and he was wondering what he was going to be taught. What exactly was a 'skill', anyway? Would the teacher work on skills he already had, like soccer and stuff like that? Or would it be something completely different? Would it be like normal school, with grades and stuff? All these questions ran through his head as he knocked once or twice before poking his head gently around the door.
"Um hello? Is this the right- WOW!" Fitzroy cried in delighted surprise as he saw the DDR game set up in the room. He didn't know that counted as a skill! Grinning even wider, he darted up to his golden teacher, having to crane his neck a little to speak with him. "Hi! Um, I'm Fitzroy, and I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to be having a 'skill' class in here." He looked over once again at the video game, biting his lip excitedly. "Is that going to be my skill?"

Just what was it with gluttony kids and the word 'wow'?
Yet, Fifth was still smiling when the adorable little green-speckled child ran up to him all excited and hyper-like. He pat the boy's head and nodded, likely evoking another spastic reaction from the Fitzroy-child. "Yep, that's going to be your skill. Thought that, despite the soccer and your obvious -andnondocumented- energy, that you could use some more exercise, which you don't seem to be opposed to," he said, gesturing toward the game. "And given I'm old, you probably know how to turn that thing on much better than I do, so go on ahead."

Fitzroy didn't need to be told twice. After shooting Fifth a glowing smile that substituted a 'thank you!', he darted towards the game system, getting the game started in what must have been record time. Pac-man closed himself up tight as Fitzroy scrolled through the songs; the Gluttony spawn had a tendency to choose the ones that required a lot of jumping, which made the tummy-mouth sick.
It was only as he was about to start the song that Fitzroy noticed that his teacher wasn't doing anything, and he turned around with a grin. "Don't you wanna play too? Come on, it's really easy!" Without an invitation, he ran over and dragged Fifth over to the second mat, patting his golden arm reassuringly, Pac-man giving it a lick for good measure. "You just hafta tap your feet in time to the arrows when they reach the top of the screen. If they're two at the same time, jump and hit both of them, and if there's a long trail of arrows," he babbled excitedly, using his hands to illustrate, "then you have to hold the arrow down. Got it?"

Fifth was left in the dust when Fitzroy went to turn on the gaming machine, watching with an astounded awe that came from years of falling behind in the ways of technological advancement. He let the boy do as he wished, really only in the room to make sure that he was actually doing what he was supposed to be, and chuckled good-naturedly when Fitzroy tried to pull him over to play the game as well. "Oh, don't worry about-
"Me!!" he squeaked in a rather girlish fashion when the surprisingly strong boy took his arm, backpedaling weakly against the child's tuggings. He pet the tummy-mouth gently when his arm was licking, looking at Fitzroy skeptically from the middle of the mat. Yeah, his a** it was as easy as it sounded. Absolutely sure he was about to make a complete and total a** of himself, Fifth smiled faintly over at the boy he was supposed to be teaching, nodding a few times. "Alright, I got it. Just make it... go, or something."

Fitzroy smiled adorably at Fifth, looking at him for a long moment to make sure he for seriously got it. His daddy sometimes said that he understood things when he didn't, which was a little bothersome. Nodding brightly at the gryphon, he scrolled through the songs a little more before selecting one that was fairly easy.
He bounced in time to the starting music and grinned once more over at Fifth in what he hoped was an encouraging way. Once the arrows started flying up, the boy tapped and bounced in almost perfect time, which was something saying that he was on Heavy. Glancing over at Fifth, he was sad to see his teacher not doing so well, and sighed heavily. "C'mon, Mister Fifth, you have to have rhythm! Should I choose an easier song?" The boy was blissfully unaware of how much of a show-off he was being, looking directly at Fifth while still managing to hit a majority of the arrows.
