Appearance Aria has vivid red hair, and light green eyes with a few gold flecks. She has an athletic build, but her muscles are hidden by her soft, mid-toned skin. She is about average height, although taller than some of her fellows. She usually wears bright colored nail polishes (particularly neon green and orange), but clips her nails as short as her [adopted] brother back home had. Her face is dotted with the occasional freckle, and, being Irish, she burns at the slightest touch of sunlight.

Hair Her hair is strikingly red, with several blond highlights that are only visible in direct sunlight.
Eyes Her eyes are light green with several golden flecks that look as if she had been spattered in the eyes with the shredded mineral.
Oddities She has one large birthmark spanning the length of her fore-arm, from her elbow, to her wrist, vaguely shaped like a blotchy snake.

xxxxxxxSpecial Traits
Abilities Aria has the ability to upset objects at will (for example, as a child, her parents might upset her and find all their picture frames had fallen to the floor and shattered), and is also what many would call psychic to a degree, and can sense important events about a week before they occur. However, she cannot discern the depth of importance or the specifics of the event itself.
History Aria grew up in the roadside village of Naas, Ireland, a small, anti-political town of about 16,000. She lived with her mother and step-father for the first fifteen years of her life, and then was taken to Grove Academy. Her father's whereabouts as well as history are unknown, and no one quite knows from what world he came--only that he was not normal. Her mother, Bernadette Starling, and her step-father, Richard Starling, were avid musicians. Bernadette had forced Aria's biological father to conform to any name she pleased, thus Aria's musical title: Aria, being a mournful or elaborate solo sung in an opera, and Sonatine, a Latin quasi-synonym of Sonata, a classical instrumental composition, usually split into movements. As Aria was raised, she became more and more irritated with her parents. She believed that Richard was her biological father until the truth was accidentally revealed on a marriage certificate when she was twelve years old. She did not understand her power in the least and was constantly baffled by the sense of impending doom that always seemed to wash over her at seemingly insignificant times. Her annoyance caused many household accidents, including a devastating kitchen fire and the loss of tens of valuable furniture items. After her anger became apparent, her parents decided she needed a companion and adopted a normal boy, Grant DeRose, one year younger than Aria herself. He and Aria quickly became close friends and she adopted many informal traits that resulted from spending time with a teenage boy. The last three years that she was at home and with Grant, she was almost entirely happy, except at school. Grant was almost always the target of unkind words (as he was what would have been considered a "band nerd"), and Aria was quick to react in his defense. Several unfortunate victims were severely injured, and Aria was forced into home-schooling. The school quietly researched the happenings surrounding the injuries and, upon their unnerving findings, contacted the government, who immediately rushed her to Grove Academy. Her most prevailing regret is losing contact with Grant for two years.
((Forgive me if that was a little much to read. Paragraph breaks seemed unnecessary in the profile context.))
Personality Aria is quick to speak her mind and has a rampaging temper. She is not offended easily, unless the offense is to a friend, rather than herself. She is the ultimate defender, and should someone choose to insult one that she cares about while in her company, they are truly unfortunate. She cooperates with instruction and is easily befriended, but also suffers from extremely random mood swings. To her friends, she is kind and giving, and never misses the opportunity to show her appreciation of them (especially with hugs). She is a hard worker and works avidly in academics.
Talents Aria plays the piano, but rarely gets the chance to practice at Grove. She is also naturally good at learning languages, grammer, and vocabulary.
Weaknesses Aria has a seething temper, which can boil out at any time, and also suffers from random mood-swings. When she means to upset objects using her telekinetic power, she will sometimes focus on the wrong objects.
