Polette:

With the sun slowly drifting off along the horizon, Azizi found himself feeling positively wicked. It wasn't a feeling that compelled him to go searching for something to beat senseless, but it was an existing feeling, nonetheless.

His neon eyes flicked around as they began to glow in the darkening world. He felt so young and restless as the sun went down. It was almost a feeling that made him want to find somewhere to stay permanently, but for now, he'd just roam around. It would be a huge change from the vast territory his family controlled in the jungle, but it might be nice for him to find somewhere to belong away from age-old strife.

Chobi:

Another cheetah wasn't to far off. She was busy watching the sunset. What a simple beauty the sun sets were. They happened every day and eachone was more beautiful then the last. The cheetah purred as she watched.

The prissy blue cheetah was not aware of it but she was pregnant with cubs. Just a little bit of a momma's belly showed in her trim waist. Eun Mi had not a clue she was about to bloosom into a mother in the months to come.

Right now her worries were drifting away as the sun tucked its head all the way down. Eun Mi just continued to stare into the spreading darkness.

Polette:
Continuing on, Azizi quickly became more aware of what surrounded him. Usually, he was preoccupied thinking about a possible future he might have in a land not far from here. His ears swiveled around, and heard the faint sounds of a creature nearby. Like a young kitten, he increased his speed, running towards whatever it was that he barely heard. He would be sorely upset if it turned out to be nothing but the wind.

Luckily, as he approached, his eyes saw the outline of a blue cheetah, standing out along the horizon. It really matched the backdrop, and for once, Azizi started to approach the other creature. The darkness seemed to change him, but he still held his pride and dignity, which forebade him from making the first move.

Chobi:
Eun Mi was alerted to another by the sound of approaching foot steps. She looked over her shoulder, mouth agape, and stared at the male cheetah. He was dark and the female really had to focus in order to see him.

"Can I ... Help you?" The blue cheetah tilted her head and took a few steps forward. Since when were there so many male cheetahs around. That was her biggest question.

Polette:
"Oh no, madmoiselle, I do not ask for.....barbarous favors." His accent was thick, and he struggled with certain words that had sounds not natural to his native tongue. He was blunt, like any foreigner would be when submersed in another culture. Things were very different for him here, and it was a slight struggle to adjust to it.

"I merely.....seek some words with friend?" He knew that the sentence sounded off, but he wasn't quite sure on how to fix it. It was clear enough, wasn't it? Maybe not, but it at least it gave up any implements of wrong intentions on his behalf.

Chobi:
The dark cheetah talked funny. That was Eun Mi's first impression. Her nose wiggled a bit not sure what to say to his slightly off sentence. Was he mocking her or did he really talk like that. Eun Mi put on her prettiest smile and sat down. The female decided to trust this male.

"Yeah, company sounds.. pleasant?" Eun Mi hadn't meant to make it a question. "Your... accent.. " She gave him a questioning look.

Polette:
"Yes, company." His deep voice dipped low; he hadn't seen such a reaction to his accent. Usually, others found it alluring and exotic, always drawn to him for it. "My accent? Ma cher, I am not from this savannah." Truth be told, he wasn't from a savannah at all. He grew up in a community of regal cheetahs, none of which spoke the language that he had come to learn out on the open plains.

"Does it bother you so?" His voice had a certain angry tint to it as he spoke. He had to admit, he wasn't in the mood for anyone who had any quarrels with him, especially not about his accent. He was prideful about his homeland,

Chobi:
The cheetah shook her head, "No.. I just never heard anything like it." She noticed the small tint of anger but acted like she had not heard a thing. She wasn't in the mood to point it out right now.

"Why do you talk like that?" These were almost kinderguarden esc questions but Eun Mi had never heard such talk before. IT was new and a little exciting she had to admit.

Polette:
"It is something from my homeland." Thinking back on it, it almost seemed foolish why he had left the luxurious and royal lifestyle in his homeland. It was a matter of principle, though, and even if the decision was made when he was younger, it wasn't something he'd just go back on.

"What about you, where do you come from?" He didn't know about many places out in this other land, but he thought it only polite to ask a lady a question in return. That, too, was something that had been ground into him since cubhood.

Chobi:
Eun Mi tilted her head some. She supposed it made sense and didn't really feel like digging. She hated when others wanted more of an answer then she gave so Eun Mi shrugged and asked nothing more.

"I'm just your average cheetah I suppose. " She lifted her paw and looked at her nails as if it was interesting as she pondered the details she wanted to tell this new stranger. "I grew up with only my mother and a few sisters and we hunted yadaa yadaa yadaa . I just decided it was time to move on and find my own territory."

The answer was bland and boring. Eun Mi liked it that way. There was a lot more to her family life then she was telling but she didn't hardly know this male.

Polette:
"Well, sometimes creatures just need to get away from the life they knew so well." Azizi's eyes flicked up towards the sky. He had his own reasons for leaving the sculpted society that he was raised in; a change of scenery was the breath of fresh air that his soul needed, and since then, he'd actually mellowed out some. Still ruthless when provoked, but mellow.

"It sounds beautifully simple." He smiled, trying to be as endearing as he could. The simple life never really drew him in, but he still marveled at how wonderous it could be.

Chobi:
"You really think so?" Eun Mi shrugged, "It was alright...." She started to draw a circle in the dirt below. A nervous habit of hers.

"I didn't dislike or love it I suppose.... I m glad to be on my own now..." She sighed. "But right now I just want to get something to eat. Care to join me.... Eh, what is your name?"

Polette:
"To all their own." Azizi referred to the saying 'to every man his own,' but couldn't quite think of the entire phrase. If he himself had been given the option of having a simple life, he probably wouldn't have taken it anyway; simple lifestyles were better left to be observed rather than lived.

"Hunting?" An almost bloodthirsty tint covered his voice. Hunting was a sheer thrill for the cheetah, and it would give him a chance to vent some regular frustrations. He never felt bad about hunting- though he never felt bad about killing any creature- so it was a nice activity that he would partake in several times a day, leaving half-eaten carcases in bushes and the like. "Madmoiselle, I would love to." He grinned wickedly, bowing slightly as he addressed her.

Chobi:
The female gave him an amused smile, this cheetah seemed like he was all to eager. But then again who wasn't out here in the wild when hunting was a part of life. It was thrilling but it was something one had to do if they wanted to stay alive and Eun Mi planned to stay alive for as long as she could.

"Shall we?" She got to her paws and turned her back on the male starting off into the tall grass. Night time would give the two perfect cover. Night time was a great time to hunt, as long as you didnt run into any other bigger predators.

Polette:
"After you, madmoiselle." Azizi grinned, not quite sure what to anticipate from the female. He had never 'hunted' in a pair before; instead, as an adolescent, Azizi had roamed the jungle with his fellows, seeking out those his society deemed unworthy of living. A cruel sport at the time, it sharpened the dark cheetah's hunting skills, but not his group hunting skills, ironically.

He trotted along in the dark, after the blue cheetah, singing a song from cubhood silently to himself.

Chobi:
Eun Mi was glad for the company. The fact the dark cheetah beside her had a bloody past never really dawned on her. He seemed pleasant enough after all. So on she went with him threw the grasses to find something to eat.

"I'm sure two pairs of claws are better then one," She grinned at the male as she went on.
