Vyn -- LAB305

PostPosted: Mon Nov 23, 2009 2:59 pm

Who: Vyn & Prajna.
When: Before midday, on a schoolday.
Where: Outside/near Prajna's home.
Weather: Fairly cool with a chance of rain.

Vyn hadn’t returned home since her encounter with Domvelo in the graveyard. The meeting had shaken something within her and there appeared to be no stopping it now, every fibre of her body wanted to roam – not to stay still, simply float as nature took her. She was now entirely living off the rays of the sun and so long as a decent portion of her greening skin was exposed it was like a constant feeding stream. Right now she found herself in a more urbanised area of Gaia... She’d been skirting around the more industrialised places since the roaming bug had taken hold but for some reason or another she had floated into Durem and was now idly trailing down a street of houses, dark eyes admiring the front gardens.

They were all immaculately kept and despite the cold months starting to take a bite out of the more delicate flowers there were still a few hardy perennials in bloom and plenty of shrubbery in healthy green clumps. For some reason seeing each of the tended areas of soil sent a pang of jealousy through the rose; having a place like that, kept weeded and fertilised by a benevolent god would be ever so nice... But then she thought of the price that each of the gardens had to pay for their easy life. Pruning, being admired like some mindless decoration, snipped at, beheaded so that their flowers could be used as decoration at the kitchen table. No. She wouldn’t want to be them. Better to keep your freedom and weather out the toughness of the wild than to be treated like that...

She ran a nail along a leaf of one of the plants in the garden she was in front of now... Her nails were not the same as they had been a few days ago – they were tougher and had lost their black colouration for a woody appearance, but she barely noticed focusing instead on the plant. Poor thing... She wondered if its human gardeners would be kind to it. Would it bear flowers? She lifted the leaf casually as if inspecting it... It seemed fairly mundane and she couldn’t imagine it producing anything to rival her own blooms. Probably not, it was just background decoration. But that didn’t mean it was safe. If anything it meant that it was at higher risk of being dug up and tossed aside if it didn’t remain complimentary to the human’s vision...

A jogger gave her a wide berth as she continued her bemused inspection of the gardens and an old lady across the street hastily closed her curtains when she saw the unholy abomination plaguing her neighbours... She was attracting a fair amount of attention...

Prajna shook its darkened feathers in its stretch towards the heavens, a common occurrence when it found it had awoken too early in the day; Anything between midnight and noontime was considered "early" for the nocturnal Frei. Prajna rubbed its eyes rimmed with red, a new detail in its appearance it had taken on since the last encounter with Rivener. Prajna wondered if it would ever stop crying longer than a few hours. It lifted a hand to run its fingers through its hair: The crimson locks were still soaked in sweat, though today's amount did not seem like the bucket-fulls it had been a few nights ago after the Frei's encounter or perhaps, unfortunate run-in with Lucretia. The crescent moons in Prajna's neck were also still fresh; They stung whenever Prajna got too curious and pressed too hard on them. The Star sighed.

It went into David's bathroom, just like any other morning, and turned the hot water on. It closed the door and waited for the steam to form. Prajna floated about the apartment when suddenly it whipped around a corner, opened a door and found..no one. Namini ..was gone? What was today?

Prajna turned to find a calendar. Today was a Monday? Prajna tried to count the days on its fingers but gave up half way. Whatever. It would be Monday for now and that would mean... "School. Yes."

It was as if saying the word aloud confirmed it. Namini had returned to school. She had been away for somewhere around two ..maybe three weeks? It had only been a matter of time before she returned back to her busy "lick-turns" and silly "calf-uh-turia." And for some reason, Prajna felt a little bitter about the requirements of "grad-u-nation"; It had grown..attached to its guardian in this little bit of time? Prajna shook its head fervently now, determined never to admit such a thing. It wandered back to the shower, though stopped beside the balcony when something in the distant, something..dark and familiar looking caught its eye.

What was that?

Prajna's attention was entirely focused on the hovering torso now as it floated slowly among the flowers outside. Even from this distance, it could tell it was another girl. The redhead dashed towards the bathroom-turned-sauna, stripping itself free of whatever sweat-soaked tee it had on, soaked as much steam it could muster and then turned the water off. It rubbed a free space in the mirror to catch a firm glance of itself. So it wasn't the strongest Raevan. So it was still "sick" or whatever. No matter.

Prajna floated back into Namini's room and straight into the girl's closet. Searching for what seemed like forever, the hurried Frei suddenly emerged from the closet's depths wearing a crimson Mandarin-styled top, a piece Prajna mentally declared perfect for war. With its decorative "armor" on and its hair tied back into a slick ponytail like usual, Prajna exited the apartment in search of the mysterious female Raevan.

Vyn stretched her leathery black wings with a soft rustle behind her, the crimson barbs and pointed fingers of her wings poised unknowingly threateningly in the air behind her. She was a little vexed now, examining the gardens truly revealed the superficial nature of the human’s care for their greenery. The plants really were nothing more than objects of false affection only present to cater to the human’s whims and wants – if they fell out of favour they would be treated with no compassion at all. She wrung her hands together and pressed onwards intending to find some other less troubling place to reside; remaining around the row of front gardens would only continue to raise her hackles and the frustration was in no way enjoyable. However, as her body swivelled around her ribbon to move back the way she had come, something caught her eye that was interesting enough for her to remain.

A raevan had just come onto the street. The rose examined her closely as she... No... He? It. She had never seen it before and as it exited it’s home she took in it’s features. It had red hair similar to her own wine-red locks, though it’s hair featured a smear of darker crimson at the front. Vyn tossed her head, it was approaching her at a fair speed and something about it’s body language was not altogether pleasant. Now she could see it had vibrant blue eyes, the total opposite to her own glowering dark orbs, but similar to the only markings she had there was a shadow of red around it’s eyes. She tensed, was it a competitor, trying to outdo her display? The frei frowned at this thought and, although she did not quite know why, she felt a pang of competitiveness run through her.

Acting unconsciously upon this twitch of competition she floated steadily higher, chin boldly lifted to fully display her blooming cheeks. “Hello?" She ventured almost defensively. This was after all the other raevan’s area; she could actually be the invader here even if she hadn’t intended it to be that way. “I am Vyn...” Her words were slow... Not intended in a patronising manner but simply because for some reason they were coming with increasing difficulty to the plant. “Who are you?

As Prajna hastily approached the ruby-colored Frei, it took in her features before finally concluding that yes, there would be nothing different about this female. She wore the same dark fabrics as the witch Cordelia, and her eyes were dark too, simply eerie, though a pang of envy coursed through the Star as it took in the haunting golden hue; She was the first it had ever seen to have such piercing eyes.. But no matter. Prajna stopped a few feet away from the girl, its crow-like wings beating heavily against its back, partially out of its agitated state of mind and partially trying to relieve itself of the heat that was its clothing. Maybe wearing this shirt wasn't as necessary as it had seemed. Prajna hated the sweating that had come with this virus. But what Prajna quickly grew to hate more was this ..this she-beast! The redhead narrowed its eyes as it watched the slender Frei float a few inches higher. Was she trying to prove that she was superior?!

"Hello? I am Vyn...Who are you?" her voice came out softly, cautiously, and even this polite approach made Prajna recoil with disgust. Females. Ugh. The Star would be straightforward.

"Vyn you say? Prajna, am Prajna. Vyn knows ...Cordelia? Did Cordelia send Vyn? Why Vyn close Prajna house-place?" The agitation was clear in the young redhead's voice. It saw this girl as nothing more than an intruder, a fiend, a weed to be removed from Prajna's view.

Just as Prajna had found itself under Vyn’s scrutinising stare Vyn soon found herself being examined by the bright cerulean eyes of the other raevan. Though the girl was used to the observations of strangers – having people openly stop and gawp was common for a raevan and even more frequent for her due to her more alien features, however it was rather unsettling even for the stare hardened plant. In fact she almost mimicked the other girl’s wing movements, flicking the bat like extensions from her back in agitation whilst she was sized up by the star. Something about the other gave the impression that she was not welcome. Narrowing eyes and restless movements quickly gave away her hostile attitude and consequently it was of little surprise to Vyn when its mouth opened and a sharp response was issued.

Vyn kept her firm positioning but softened slightly at the name spoken in such accusatory manner at her. She had never heard of anyone who went by that alias... Neither directly or through conversation with other raevans... Her brows dipped into a frown and she shook her head slowly. “I have never met Cordelia,” she paused, judging by the tone of the frei it was not very fond of her – whoever she was. “Why would Cordelia send someone?” Inquired Vyn sluggishly, puzzled as to why the other would presume that this foreign entity would send messengers... It seemed very bizarre, especially coupled with Prajna’s open hostility... Could this Cordelia be an enemy to the other raevan? Could it even fear that Cordelia would send someone to hurt it? Vyn floated a few inches back whilst her questions drifted through her mind...

As for the final response that Prajna was looking for Vyn couldn’t quite form a rooted answer... She had no real reason for being here other than her rune had idly carried her here. And yet, to others it probably seemed like an obscure answer... When she watched humans through her pitch eyes they were almost always in a rush to get somewhere, striding along with a destination in mind; get to the office, pick the children up from school, meet a friend at the coffee shop... But she had nothing akin to those reasons behind her moving from place to place... “I just wandered here...” Her rune glowed slightly as if in agreement. “No reason.

Vyn acted as a mirror, her bat-like wings echoing Prajna's heavy beats almost in perfect synchronization. This instinctive copying brought Prajna's jaw to tighten. It did not take mockery very lightly and just as it was about to bombard the Rose with a new onslaught of questions and accusations, the girl spoke. Spoke and then retreated a few paces back. This piqued a satisfying curiosity in the androgynous Frei. Maybe now she would understand, Prajna was not one to be messed with.

"Never met? Why? Cordelia..is ugly, that is why," Prajna replied slowly, its voice low and careful, still taking in the other's behavior meticulously. The minute it sensed an attack, the Star would charge and finish her quickly, before it could hurt it like Lucretia and Cordelia had done. It would not hesitate with this one, oh no. Third time was the charm. "Cordelia will send like her to Prajna, hurt Prajna, but Prajna will be ready."

The genderless Raevan paused and regathered its thoughts. Vyn was giving off a fairly different vibe than Cordelia and Lucretia had; There seemed to be nothing hostile or even aggressive about this female, but risks could not be taken. Perhaps she was like Lulu, wearing some kind of innocent mask to lure in her prey. This thought brought a frown back to the Frei's blank features before it jerked itself towards the darker Frei, stopping just inches in front of her face. Her eyes were ...intriguing. Prajna clenched its fists just in case.

"Vyn say wandered here. No reason, said. Why Prajna trust you?" came the curious response as icy blues traveled up and down the other half-torso. It stopped at Vyn's bosom, somewhat disgusted and somewhat interested. Were all the girls' chests so oddly shaped or was it just Vyn's? Her chest seemed..bigger than Lulu's or Cordelia's or Lucretia's. Hm. Prajna wondered if it could make out some kind of deal...

Ugly? The flower tilted it’s raised head, raising a hand to gently touch upon the petals that clung to her cheeks. She had never made a conscious association of ugliness with aggression, but now that her androgynous counterpart stated it the concept clicked within her brain. The few times that she had come across unsettling violence, most predominantly the concert, the instigators had been lacking in the looks department.

She looked at Prajna, examining the frei by it’s own statement to judge whether it’s aggressive stance and attitude were mirrored by less than pleasant looks. Of course, like all raevans there were no drastic flaws that could be identified, just pleasant features that ultimately denied them from being considered an eyesore. However, the other did look rather... How to phrase it correct? Unkempt. It’s hair was pulled back into a ponytail but rather than a neat scrape it was moist with sweat and clung unattractively to it’s scalp, it appeared to be sweating elsewhere on it’s body too and Vyn realised that it’s wing shifting was not only due to agitation but it was also a method of alleviating the heat it was suffering from.

Vyn did not blanch when the other shoved her face close to her own... Normally she would’ve recoiled immediately but now, with this strangeness seeping through her, she didn’t seem to mind half as much and responded to the other with a relativity indifferent tone. “I’m not here to do anything, so I won’t hurt you...” The trace of a smile formed as she turned her head, placing focus upon the fleshy petals. “I’m not ugly... I won’t hurt you.” Hoping that was a satisfactory response for the questioning frei she paused, taking in a draft of the scent of the air between them. It was a perfume consisting of her own potent rose aroma and the odour of fresh sweat – not musty and cringe worthy, but still it was enough to cause the girl’s nose to crinkle in mild distaste. Something was definitely odd about the other floating creature, but the plant’s mind was still functioning quickly enough to know better than to blurt out a question inquiring why it appeared to be sweating buckets...

Prajna's eyes quickly gave way to its growing fascination of the shadow-based Frei, the blues leaving Vyn's impressive bosom and trickling upwards only to catch a glimpse of the girl's retreating face. The Star felt compelled to trust her, an instinct it fought viciously against but seemingly could not overcome. Her words were carefully spoken and selected while the structure of them was delivered with great skill and precision; To misunderstand her would be difficult. And stupid. Even for a newborn. This girl...Prajna sighed, unclenched its fists and relaxed, though the beating of its wings remained agitated and unsteady. It did not release its close proximity with the rose.

"No, you are not ugly. And yes, you won't hurt Prajna. Yes. Prajna knows..." the redhead breathed, surprised by the softness its genderless voice had suddenly taken on. Prajna tried to meet with Vyn's alluring eyes once more, the Inverted Flame tried to pinpoint just what was so attractive about the girl. Was it because she was the first girl Prajna had ever declared, rather unwillingly, harmless? Those eyes were just so intriguing. Unconsciously, Prajna leaned closer to the girl and conducted an experiment. Hopefully it would not reap consequences.

The Frei ran the tip of its nose from Vyn's soft cheek to the edge of her chin, surprised to see a few petals flake off. Thank goodness. This contact was enjoyable. Nothing compared to the stinging sensation Rivener caused. Prajna grinned sweetly.

Of course, just like anyone receiving a compliment from someone who appeared to think that looks were pivotal in judging character, Vyn swelled with pride. As far as she could remember nobody had ever given her such a compliment in a genuine manner like that – Ethan had on occasion remarked on how proud he was to be a guardian to such a beautiful rose... But like every child the word of Vyn’s parent was never quite believed. Thus as the other raevan moved even closer towards her face she remained sturdy and did not back away in the slightest. After all, she was a rose, garlanded with flowers that had been the pleasure to the eye of the observer and documented in poetry since the very conception of the common ideas of beauty. To be admired was an enjoyable experience that Vyn had never really practised due to her normally intimidating looks, yet she felt very at home under the admiring eyes of the other.

When the frei nuzzled her cheek she almost leant into the movement, relishing the sudden display of admiration that Prajna was showing. Smiles were both now firmly rooted upon both of the raevan’s faces. Vyn looked down and met it’s eyes; now less ice clear eyes and more sky blue. Vyn’s were equally showing her ease of mine and were a honey gold. They urged the other to continue its appreciation, not in a vain way but perhaps in a more symbiotic manner. Prajna appeared to be enjoying itself and Vyn was confirming that she too was benefiting from the star’s actions.

Prajna knows..?” Vyn murmured... Her mind was becoming ever more sluggish as her plant-like desires moved to the fore-front of her mind. Vyn had made the mistake of getting too close to another day only a few days ago... Domelvo. Yet now all she wanted was for this new person to continue its appreciation and any hesitancy or lessons learned from the past experience were smothered like a bad scent underneath potent perfume.

With each intake of Vyn's alluring scent, a soft but impressionable aroma Prajna concluded it had never encountered before, the younger redhead found tranquility pulsating from its heart through its veins to every possible nerve ending a signal could be sent to. Prajna lowered its heavy eyelids for a moment as an unshakable sense of trust slowly clouded over any of the Frei's remaining thoughts of malice and self-preservation. It had to trust Vyn. No, this feeling was more..flexible. It wanted to trust the Rose. Just like the Frei had wanted to make Varun happy, just like it had wanted to protect Xiu. Prajna thought "How could it not?" as its eyelids fluttered open, its cerulean orbs now sparkling with some kind of closure as they found themselves drowning in the other's glistening ambers once again. There was no doubt about it. There couldn't be, not now, not with this instinctive and infectious feeling of want swimming inside Prajna now. The Inverted Flame turned its androgynous features into an ear-to-ear grin once more, "Prajna knows Vyn is liked much. Prajna knows...Vyn is not of Cordelia. Can see prettiness, can see how Vyn is more of best girl."

The Flame had particularly admired how Vyn had not shuddered away from its speedy approach, nor its original hostility. She was strong but a girl. She was pretty and a girl. She was..so much. And Prajna wanted her to be one of its own, to be ...

"Vyn? Prajna is..." the Frei coughed what sounded like a pitiful "Sur-eh" before letting out a small laugh, a rosiness to its cheeks now. It had to do all it could to be as stunning as this dark-eyed girl. "Can Vyn be of Prajna? Today and more later, days later, like Varun and Xiu. Prajna is happy with Vyn-girl."

As the frei before her seemed to confirm the rising adoration Vyn’s own face bloomed into a wide grin, everything ounce of her normally reserved nature fell to pieces as she soaked up the attention like she would soak up the warming rays of the sun. It was good to be admired like this. She felt better for it and she could not fathom what had held her back before this moment. As the other was stating... Vyn was pretty, thus she should not shade away from the interest for fear of being rebuked for looking different. Suddenly her brain came to the conclusion that is was no reason of disgust of horror at her appearance that people gave her disconcerting looks. No. It was as Prajna had said earlier – people who were not pretty like her were ugly looking and ugly natured. That meant that they would exhibit rotten characteristics. Jealousy. All those in the dark who had muttered under their breath and pointed at her were simply jealous, and for a good reason. Her flower’s vanity was truly potent as her scent now...

Her head bowed slowly in a nod. “Yes...” She was not entirely sure of what Prajna was asking of her... To be of Prajna? Whatever... It did not sound wholly unpleasant. So long as the feisty raevan kept up this appreciation of her and her looks she would be content doing whatever the other desired... Ironic – considering how only a short period of time ago she had scorned the ornamental gardens for being present only as eye candy. Though, the tiniest part of her consciousness which did still express a negative stance on what the rose was involving herself in was quelled by the mention of familiar names...

Xiu, Varun... I know them...” She swayed slightly, keeping eye contact with it as she did so... It seemed to admire her eyes the most, or atleast that was the impression Vyn was gaining. That fitted perfectly with her new model of explanation – her eyes were the things which sent most people away (with jealousy) so it seemed natural that her enthusiast would choose to admire them the most...

She agreed.
Vyn had agreed to be Prajna's.

Prajna's wings shuddered violently in exuberance, the magnitude of this reaction questionable by the Flame itself. It was acting so weird today, saying things without much thought or rather, disdain, approaching what had been seen as a danger so casually, threatening another without good reason or suspicion, acting on instincts alone. Prajna noted these unavoidable urges and tried to tread a little more thoughtfully now but it was difficult. Vyn's vibrant gold eyes, the way her lips bloomed delicately into a rose of a smile, her quaint little mannerisms made everything difficult. They were just so inspiring, so unique. Prajna's wings vibrated once more, this time actually rocking the incomplete torso a bit. It ignored Vyn's recognition of Xiu and Varun; They were no longer important. They were boys. There would be more of them but Prajna was very adamant about not losing Vyn. A rose...she was one of a kind. Out of all the other females, there was finally a rose among the thorns!

The Inverted Flame's rune seemed to illuminate suddenly, spreading out like an odd darkened flame as the androgynous Frei inhaled shakily and sharply. And then the instincts took over completely. Whatever fight Prajna had managed before - gone, without even a flicker of hope. Whatever minuscule amount of disgust had been hiding in the back of its mind, somewhere beneath all the new perfume-inspired assumptions- erased, without a sliver of resurrecting light. Prajna's flame consumed them all and left nothing behind but the blackened, icy instincts taking over the Frei's body.

Throughout these few awkward moments of internal warfare, Prajna grinned softly, unknowingly, before being entirely consumed by the inverted flame. Once all light was sealed beneath Prajna's sudden..hunger, the Frei's lips dropped quickly and it rushed the Rose. Hands spread out across the other's frail looking body, sliding outwards from her shoulders and then down before tracing back up slowly, like roots exploring new ground. Prajna made sure each touch was careful but quick, each caress like the lick of a cold fire, it did not linger in one spot too long. While its icy fingers wandered Vyn's svelte limbs, Prajna's face on the other hand was proving more provoking, as if trying to see what kind of reaction would render a thorn. The Star placed a series of light kisses along Vyn's cheek, growing intoxicated by her increasingly addicting aroma before having its lips wander downwards...

"Like stars. Eyes like stars" came the heavy release of breath.

Each touch felt like the sigh of a cool breeze, totally natural and she relished it. This intimacy was somehow familiar... It wasn’t intimidating in the slightest. In fact she returned the gesture, her own exploratory tendrils extended towards the frei... Her delicate hands explored the damp shirt clinging to the star’s form; her curious fingers wormed the folds and crevices as if they really were roots searching for moisture and sustenance. She pressed closer, barely noticing the cold burn radiating from the other’s rune. Prajna was admiring her, Vyn’s looks were providing the raevan with emotional nourishment and on Vyn’s end of the exchange she was blooming, absorbing the attention and her vines were fast ensnaring the other before the attention slipped away. Cold blossomed along the rose’s cheeks. The sensation sent quivers of excitation through the flower’s body, the fleshy petal were extraordinary receptive to the inverted flame’s lips and despite the chill being a generally bad thing it was a delightful sin for the girl.

The other raevan’s muttering meant little sense to the now plant minded girl, but it added to the daringly risky situation she was being drawn into... It was like she was in this intimate embrace with winter itself – perhaps the worst enemy of all flowers, yet she was being admired by the powerful entity. It was she in control her; she was the idol to whom Prajna was aspiring to - A sluggish grin grew as this image of power over the other dawned upon her. She curled her finders into the folds of the fabric she was grasping, this was a delightful ecstasy and she would not let it slip from her thorny grasp.

I am better than them,” she was referring to the aforementioned raevans, “yes? I am the prettiest. Most beautiful?” She words came as a velvet whisper in the younger frei’s ear. She was now for the first time in her life a seductress, vain and finding supremacy within her appearance. This was a new form of feeding, not a feeding of the body, but a feeding of the mind. She was hungry for the glimmering shards of attention and compliments that the star bestowed. However, before the other could whisper a response Vyn’s mouth brushed against it's counterpart, her lips like perfect petals... An action to seal its reply, a tantalising promise of Vyn’s exclusive affections.

Vyn -- LAB305

It was hard to think, hard to see. feel. understand anything unrelated to the Rose in front of the Inverted Flame. It was as if, the longer Prajna's icy fingers remained intertwined with Vyn's soft ruby tresses, the closer its incomplete torso hovered near hers, the more dangerous the Rose became. The once fragile perfume Vyn was emitting was now like a whiff of alcohol, thrown directly in the face of a rehabilitating alcoholic: the desire to seek more of this poison was overpowering. Prajna's stubborn logic tried and tried to push the scent from its mind; It tried to imagine Varun's fresh, sea salt scent, Xiu's calming scent of clean linens, but nothing was strong enough to have the younger redhead ignore the newfound seductress in front of it. It was as if she was born with only one purpose: to trap Prajna in her vines. Vyn's mind-numbing perfume, the nostalgic beauties that were her eyes, the similar darkness Prajna felt between them. She was...

Prajna's wings slowed their aggressive, rhythmic flapping and then stopped altogether as something soft, something warm suddenly pressed against its cold, hungry lips. Vyn's lips were pressing against Prajna's lips. Vyn was..kissing Prajna? The minute this thought finished processing, the Star's body reacted immediately.

The hands that had slipped their fingers through Vyn's wavy locks now tried to keep the Shadow's face in place, sturdy, to allow a greater amount of pressure to be applied to her lips. Prajna closed its eyes and then began to shower the flower in an assortment of affectionate mannerisms: A pull at Vyn's lower lip, a brush against the top one, only one second to catch their breath. Prajna had no idea what had attracted Vyn to itself, specifically, besides the fact that Prajna was PRAJNA, the one and only, but it did not question her motives. If she wanted Prajna, if she wanted its attention, its affections, she could have them. She could have anything she wanted just as long as she remembered one key concept:

Vyn was now Prajna's.
And no one else's. Not anymore.

Prajna removed its right hand from the older Frei's floral hair and allowed its icy fingertips to slide down the girl's cheek and jawline, carelessly brushing escaping petals of flesh along the way. The hand rested for a moment on Vyn's neck before the two outer fingers slid slowly underneath the edge of Vyn's black and lace-trimmed collar. Prajna inhaled sharply, its forehead becoming even clammier with the sudden physical and emotional heat, its eyelids fluttering in a panic, its mind still racing. Its words came out stammered, almost flustered or guilty, "Y-yes. Ofcourse. Vyn is..th-the..MOST...perfection. NoonelikeVyn. Is best..like Prajna, yes?"

The passionate kissing that was now occurring between the two frei baffled the rose just as much as it enticed her to continue. Her body was gaining little out of the experience, as physically she felt no gratification except the shudders of elevation that her mental stimulation produced by all the attention she was gaining. Currently it seemed as though Prajna was just as much Vyn’s possession as Vyn was hers – the star was clinging to the flower, hands tangling in her wine red hair and scraping her face as though it could not bear the thought of losing its new found bloom. The intimate way that Prajna varied the pressure of her lips and the strategic manipulating of its cold tongue in a dexterous way hinted of previous experiences. But this only served to add fuel onto the rose’s side of the exchange. She was not the first to be admired in this way... But she would captivate the other in such a way that all past experiences of the androgynous creature would be put to shame...

Yes. Vyn is perfect, you’re right Prajna...” She murmured, her voice got against the other’s cold flesh.

As if to mirror the intensity of the situation, the darkening clouds above – which had been brooding all day – were becoming turbulent. Heavy droplet of water fell in a chorus of drips and Vyn took the dominance of the kissing. As the water began to dampen both of their hair her mouth pressed gently, seductively, against it’s counterpart before withdrawing with a deep intake stealing Prajna’s cold breath. She would make the other want more and give what it desired little by little, like an elusive hit of the drug she was fast becoming.

Her probing fingers were soon hooking under the other raevan’s tee-shirt, still unconsciously feeling for some goodness within the inverted flame. She pressed herself forward again, tightening her grasp on the other as the urge to hold and never let go increased. She would be the only one that the flame admired, she would make sure of that...

"Yes. Vyn is perfect, you're right Prajna.."

Prajna's eyelids fluttered to a pained close as the rose breathed her intoxicating perfume in and around its face, on its neck, in its sweat-dampened crimson locks. It was like her physical beauty, her mere presence manifested itself into some kind of unforeseeable demon, into some kind of gravitational pull much too strong for someone lacking legs, or at this moment, half a brain. Where had Vyn been all of Prajna's short short life? Waiting for it?

Drip.

A heated and slimy bead landed on the Frei's pale skin, directly between the eyes, immediately followed by hundred thousands more. The ominous skies rumbled and roared as rain began to beat down harder and harder, forcing Prajna to wince in disgust. What timing. But that did not seem to distract Prajna's newfound Garden of Eden. No, if anything, the disgusting waters seemed to push Vyn even farther. Prajna found the Freis' lips intertwined once again, this time with a little more fervor from Vyn's end as their hands, their arms also curled this way and that around one another's incomplete torsos, twisting somewhat beautifully together like grape vines. A natural though intricate process. Suddenly, Prajna felt one of Vyn's delicate-looking hands firmly grip the ruined silk the Flame was wearing. The rain continued, naturally, but Prajna's eyes winced at Vyn's surprising dominance and...an odd feeling in its chest. In its..rune? Rain..wasn't supposed to be hot right? The shower Prajna made, used, David's shower, that water was supposed to be hot but..rain..

Prajna removed its fingers from the Rose's collar and cupped the girl's face with both hands. Prajna's face seemed to be in pain or..nauseous. It was sweating more now, even though the rain was as icy as any December rain would be.

"Vyn...Yes, Prajna is right. But..can't stay Vyn. Come with Prajna?" The Star's eyes flickered back to the apartments as its hands began to shake. The heat building up inside of it was increasing, becoming unbearable, like the first night after being attacked by Cordelia. Now, as raindrops landed against Prajna's pale skin, they felt like little flickers of ash being tossed directly into the Frei's face, arms, any form of exposed skin. This.."disease" was not normal.
