Running is the best thing he could do and he knew his mother was going to be mad with him. Marii ran fast and far as he could to where his mother couldn't follow him. He love his mother but he wanted to meet new people in his own way and that was something she was trying to break him of, but in his mind it was never going to happen as that is just who he is, but he knew his mother still loved him.
Marii stopped full run and just walked on all fours. He had descovered that he had ended up in a forested area of town take deep breath as he like how the earth smelled in these areas. After a little bit he came out of the woods to find that it was part of a park he was very familar with and saw that there wasn't too many others around as he stood on two feet to have a better look around as saw a open field and thought it would be a great place to set up an ampush to glomp other people that got close. Running to a bush to make sure no one saw him as he darted into the bush and all that anyone could see of him was his lure. Getting settled Marii started to make his lure glow and hope someone just might see it.

Duncan had taken Iah to the park in hopes of perking the boy up a little bit but... as of yet it didn't seem to help. Iah had wandered away from him saying little and seemed to be keeping to himself without much of an attempt at making any friends with the others around him. Not that he could blame the boy for his current mood, things weren't exactly going smoothly at home were they? He had hoped this would make it up to him a little, let him play, and allow Adriel some time to rest as well since he was on the exhausted side. Duncan, sadly, was just as tired due to working some extra shifts down at Dream.
He was currently sitting on a bench at the edge of the field, the one where the players sat during games watching Iah roam across it, seeming to be following the lines that had been draw through the grass in white. He gave a slight yawn but forced the sleepiness away, not wanting to even blink given the dangers out there...
Iah paused as he reached the edges of one of the lines then plopped down to next to it, tracing it with his fingers. The boy was in a quiet mood and his tentacles were in a possessively hugging sort of mood. While Duncan worried and watched they were as pleased as they could be, things between Iah and his parents were strained for some reason they couldn't fathom and as such that meant the boy now belonged solely to them. In their eyes they had won a major victory though how they weren't sure...
Something caught first Iah's attention, then that of the red limbs, all three turning in the direction and Iah blinked then his eyes went wide, "Ohh... prepre..." He murmured, seeing the more pretty thing sitting there near to one of the bushes, was that some sort of flower? He couldn't tell from here but he was curious as to what it was. He pushed himself up to his feet and started over toward the pretty, glowing thing. Whatever it was he wanted it! So pretty!

He paticently waited for some one to come he had not even moved a mussle from his spot, Marii had all the patience in the world. Marii had seen the two enter the field but right now to far to see his lure, but got very excited to see that one of them was comming nearer. So he waited and also desided not to move the lure at all.
Positively very excited to go and greet the new friend as from what Marii could tell that the other spawn was just about the same age as he was which to Marii was so much better and funner. Quickly he came out of the bush and pounced the other spawn, but not hard enought to hurt him just enought to suprize the other and gave the boy a lick on the face like a puppy when they are happy to see someone, it something he learned from Tarth is mothers wolf and his own mother didn't like it very much but Marii thought it was fun. "So you want to playyyy," Mar said getting off Iah and walking on all fours around him with his tail waging a mile a minute a. "Mar wants to play with ya," he said in a chanty type of way and right this second Marii didn't see the other tenticals just yet.

Iah gave a cry of surprise as suddenly that pretty lure, and something attached to it, was pouncing at him. The boy gave a flail of his arms before he landed on his backside, only to receive a lick from the one that had startled him. He blinked a couple times when the other started to speak and he tilted his head to the side, "H-Huh...? P-Play..?" He asked, head tilting to the side. He was surprised but the idea of getting to play, that was a nice thought.
"Oh... yes I would like to..." He trailed off when his tentacles unwrapped themselves from around him as someone new showed up with intent of stealing what was there. The limbs started to wiggle in their 'snake dance' that they used to ward off unwanted attention before taking a swing at Marii. If they could chase off the parent they could chase off this new comer as well!

"Yes play! Lots and lots of play," Marii said he sat on the ground infront of Iah and let his tongue poke out on the side of his mouth as he smiled.
Now spotting Iah's tentials doing there dance and watched them for a second as he was makeing a his mind up about them. "YA!!" he replied when the other said he wanted to and his tail waging a mile a minute. "No worries they won't hurt," he said pointing to the tentacles as Marii didn't see them as very threating. "Brother wings are a lot worse, they have teeth and bite hard," he contuned and to a hold of his tail and brought it around to show Iah some nice bite marks on it. "So what would you like to play?" he asked as he help the other spawn to his feet still not worries about the tentacles.

Iah's eyes got rather wide and all three of them got a bit watery when Marii claimed that the tentacles couldn't hurt him and that the wings of his brother were far worse. It was... nice, such a very nice thought that the other boy wasn't going to be bothered by his mean tentacles in the manner that his own mother's tentacles had been. He lifted his hands up to scrub at his trio of eyes and nodded, "Umm... I-I don't know... anything is good." He said, doing his best to keep from crying over something so silly as being really happy.

Marii smiled and thought for a second to what they could play. Also he looked around to see that there wasn't all that much around and then an idea came to mind and he thought it would be a fun one for the both of them. Standing on two legs and standing infront of Iah and smileing at him. "No worries," he said softly to the other in one of his calmer momuents and then got back on all fours. "I think it would be fun if you got on my back and I run around with you on it," he said all excited.

"Piggy... back ride?" He whispered, making the simple idea sound as though it were the most amazing one ever known to him. He'd only ever before been carried around by two people and that was his parents and even then his tentacles had beat on Duncan... He was a little uncertain but he really, really wanted to try it!
"Y-Yes... yes I would like to try that... if your sure." He said, taking a step closer to Marii looking quite excited.

"Yep, yep," he replied. As he saw that he wouldn't be able to run on all fours, but that was ok in his mind as he can still run well on two and it would still be lots of fun. It would also get him to think on what else they could do.
"Ya, I'm very sure about it," he replied as he crouched on two feet for Iah to get on his back and would use his hand to help keep the other on his back as he ran. Also he kept his tail still were it wouldn't get in the way too.

The tentacles it would seem disliked the idea greatly, one of them wrapped around one of Iah's arms, yanking back on it to try to get him to step back away from the other spawn. The second one started to swing at Marii as though to attempt to ward him off... Iah seemed to be attempting to ignore the pair as he stepped forward, wanting nothing more then to do something normal such as getting to play with another kid or being able to get a piggy back ride.
He hesitated for a moment and then climbed onto his new friends back despite the fact that Iah got a smack from one tentacle for disobeying and Marii got a smack from the other one for playing with what the tentacles seemed to believe belonged to them.

Marii wasn't deterred by the tentacle that was trying to hit him as if it landed a hit, he didn't give it any attention to the pain. As all he wanted to do was to play with his new friend.
Once Iah was on Marii's back he stood up and used his hand to hold Iah to make sure he didn't fall off. Marii still ignore there possessiveness as he was patcient as he was stubborn. Once he thought Iah was secure he started to walk around and then started to run around the field laughting the whole time as too as he was haveing fun.
