Drugs: Haley enjoys smoking marijuana. She’s not uncontrollable about this, however. She keeps her recreational drug use kept in private and wouldn’t dare to show up to work in any intoxicated state. She stays out of trouble, and her parents are fully aware of her habit, and participate in the activity as well. On rare or special occasion, Haley uses other drugs, particularly naturally hallucinogenic but not biologically addictive drugs, including shrooms or acid (LSD).

Gardening: Haley and her family have a beautiful garden in their backyard of a variety of plants that they pride themselves highly on. This is something that is a bonding activity with her family, but also a hobby of hers individually and something she intends to pursue when she no longer lives with her family, if she ever decides to leave.

Protesting: If there’s a protest to join, Haley is likely to be in attendance. She’s a very political girl, and if an opportunity to change the world presents itself, she’ll be first in line to make sure things start changing. Her protests are for liberal or environmental care causes, whether its changes supporting the green movement, fighting for civil rights, or speaking out against corrupt politicians.

No Carbon Footprint: Coming from her background, she was raised to leave a minimal carbon footprint. Environmental care is a priority of hers. She will never be caught littering, wasting energy, or in any way harming the environment. Rather, she’ll clean up after those who do litter, be sure that no energy is wasted in her company, and lecture her friends on the importance of environmental care. She also does not have air conditioning in her home, or a television. She isn’t without any technologies - her family owns one personal computer that is used when required. She also owns a basic cellphone.

Virtues:

Sunshine and Rainbows: Its hard to imagine that a girl born with the name Butterfly would end up anything but cheery. She is always in an elated state of mind, whether naturally or with the help of other substances. You can insult her all she wants, but whatever, she won’t let the man bring her down, man. Haley loves having groups of friends to hang out with. She’s a sweet girl who understands others and wishes for everyone to find the same happiness she has. She wouldn’t intentionally hurt any of her friends.

Passionate: Haley is incredibly passionate about the people and things that she cares about. She is loyal to her friends, and would defend them when they are not around. She cares very deeply for them, and as such can be blunt and honest when she feels she needs to be. She keeps their secrets, has their back, and is willing to help them out. She is also very passionate about the things she does and her lifestyle – if she is doing something on her own free judgment or will, she has a strong conviction to motivate her.

Carefree: When it comes to having fun, goes with the flow. She’s very adventuresome, easy-going, and open to trying new things so as long as they don’t against her values. She loves to be surrounded by her friends, and generally lets them call the shots. If it sounds fun, she’s there and thrives – can often be the life of a party.

Flaws:

Careless: When it comes to working or anything less than fun, Haley is a lazy bum. Although she holds a job as a barista at a small coffee shop, and she puts in minimal effort into her job and often makes mistakes. This is both part of her reluctance to have to do any work and having never been encouraged to achieve anything. When a crisis situation presents itself, she is often too relaxed to do anything about it, thinking things will work themselves out in the end. She’d follow a command, but wouldn’t take initiative and never give 110%.

Drug Habits: Although Haley is relatively responsible for with her drug habit, this does not mean there are no consequences to her habits. If she were to be under the influence of drugs and needed to get involved in a battle, there could be consequences. Furthermore, she may face consequences in her personal or professional life due to the habits being generally looked down upon.

Cuckoo Bird: Haley is a little…out there. She lives highly in her imagination and in her own fantasies. She believes in crazy or magical theories about the universe, whether it be talking about past lives, having visions of the future, or bizarre superstitions. These crazed theories and fantasies occasionally prevent her from doing things, thinking there will be negative results if she does. She can easily also sound absolutely crazy when talking about these sorts of things, which may distance others from her.

Overly Political: Just as Haley’s imagination can be debilitating, so can her political beliefs. She frequently lectures her friends for their behaviors and laying guilt upon them for wasting resources. She also brings up politics into casual discourse, which can be very off-putting and lead to many arguments.
Furthermore, her refusal to be wasteful has debilitated her in other ways. She does not own a television or other technologies that she views as wasting too much energy, and as a consequence has found herself to be behind on the times. Many pop cultural references go over her head.

Eyes: Big dark blue eyes.

Hair: She has very long dark brown hair. Hair down below her knees (got to be a joker she just do what she please). Her hair is extremely straight and silky, with a few braids and beads throughout. She also wears a hippe headband.

Face: She has a heart-shaped face and thin lips.

Attack #1A: Sunflower Turret (Scout)
How it Works- Sailor Aster summons a sunflower which launches projectile sunflower seeds at her target at a fast rate that can damage her enemies.
Range- 30 feet
Duration- 10 seconds
Casting Action- Sailor Aster throws her arm out in front of her, open handed. The sunflower turret grows out of the ground three feet away.
Damage Summary- Light attack. It feels a bit like being poked in fast rapid succession for 10 seconds. After a while, you may feel tender in that area. In already tender or soft areas (such as eyes, the neck, groin, etc.) it may hurt more.
Avoidable through- Deflection. The sunflower turret will follow and target you, but it cannot target you if you hide behind something or shield yourself.
Frequency of usage- Once every five of her own battle posts.


Attack #1B: Sunflower Turret Field (Super)
How it Works- Sailor Aster summons five sunflowers which launch projectile sunflower seeds at her target at a fast rate that can damage her enemies.
Range- 40 feet
Duration- 15 seconds
Casting Action- Super Sailor Aster throws her arm out in front of her, open handed. The sunflower turret field emerges in a small arc, three feet away.
Damage Summary- Light attack. It feels a bit like being “knocked on” with a fist (not punched!) in fast rapid succession for 15 seconds. After a while, you may feel tender in that area. In already tender or soft areas (such as eyes, the neck, groin, etc.) it may hurt more.
Avoidable through- Deflection. The sunflower turret will follow and target you, but it cannot target you if you hide behind something or shield yourself.
Frequency of usage- Once every five of her own battle posts.

Attack #2: Sunflower Bomb (Eternal)
How it Works- Sailor Aster summons a very large, magical sunflower head that she flings into the battlefield. It then explodes/poofs into a burst of sunflower oil and petals. The petals disperse in the explosion, and can slash or cut anyone within range (ally or foe). The petals can only slash – not puncture or penetrate – and then they disintegrate as they are magic. Furthermore, sunflower oil also spreads out, which can sting the wounds, but mostly is just gross. The floor is a little slippery towards the center of the blast, and anyone can slip on it if not careful! Mostly, the oil is just really gross.
Range of toss- Aster can throw the ‘bomb’ 15 feet. The explosion happens in midair.
Area of impact- 30-foot radius. Aster will always been in the impact range and is always vulnerable to her own attack.
Casting Action- Eternal Sailor Aster summons a sunflower head and throws it into the battle like throwing a Frisbee.
Damage Summary- If you stand right next to the sunflower as it explodes, you will likely simply be knocked over and drenched in the oil, but no real damage. The explosion just feels like a strong gust of air. If you are hit by the petals, at the very most you will be slashed/scratched, only skin deep. Once the petals come in contact with anything, this disintegrate, so they cannot deeply puncture you. If the sunflower oil gets into a wound, it would lightly sting (like rubbing alcohol to a wound) but can easily be ignored simply by adrenaline.
Avoidable through- Deflection. If you shield yourself or are hidden behind something, you can avoid the attack. Similarly, you can also avoid stepping in the center of the blaste area where the most sunflower oil would be.
Frequency of usage- Once a battle.

I haven't LOLed my way through an app this hard in quite a while XD For all the good reasons.

Be careful Quinn doesn't end up too much of a cliche. I feel this less in the flaws, but the three virtues seem like really, obvious hippy personality choices. You've still got one virtue slot less, so maybe look for something that differentiates her from all the other radical hippies out there?

Great weaknesses, love that you haven't pulled you punches on the consequences of her lifestyle.

FFFFFFFFF, AWESOME ATTACK! I was wondering what on earth you'd do, a little worried maybe, but I am stunned in the best way. So creative! I do wonder what you'll do for Eternal stage? But I'm sure it'll be good.

I may add some extra virtue to give her some extra pow if needed, nothing that would change the character as written so far in any level of a severe way, but perhaps highlight something I didn't explicitly in mention in the form.

As for the drugs; Quinn would typically keep her drug use at home or an otherwise controlled or private environment, or at least with hallucinogenics (as its the safe thing to do). For marijuana she'll smoke in more public areas, discreetly of course, and wouldn't dare show up to school stoned. But if she's at a party with a good group of people, she'd be open to smoking.
Smoking shouldn't impact her voice too much too badly, it doesn't have the same chemicals in it that cigarettes do (she would never touch a cigarette). Sure, its still smoke and that can have an affect on your lungs, but its not guaranteed. Many cannabis-using singers feel that smoking before singing can help open up their throat. She may use a vaporizer though, as it also provides a better high since it cuts down the weed to a more purer form of THC. And having damage to her vocal chords may be something fun to play with in the future.

Sigh. So, I had this whole thing written up, and then I lost power. So here is the more concise version. UGH.

ON THE CIVILIAN:

Delete BACKGROUND and WEAKNESS from the form. They are not part of it! Your weakness should be implicit in the flaws, and the background is auxillary information.

Also, we have atleast one Quinn already. Since this isn't really her name, I would recommend picking something else, though you don't have to. Totally a suggestion. Just a thought -- if she is such a hippie, then why WOULDN'T she like being called Butterfly?

Right now, she is too tropey for me. She is a hippie who loves drugs, playing that sweet acoustic guitar, and protesting! This makes her feel like a caricature, not a well-rounded character. Also, you will need to really toe the line with drug use. I'm not sure what the Gaia ToS rules on it are though... that's just more of an FYI. Just like I don't recommend people build characters around addiction/alcohol/sex, I also recommend you don't do that with her either. She can certainly use drugs, but I would nuance it a bit more than you are doing right now. It is too loldrugs for me. If she is dropping acid every weekend, that is considerably different from someone who recreationally uses weed and shrooms. I would perhaps push you toward the latter to keep some of the "WELP SHE'S AN ADDICT" problems out of it. Granted, I am not that familiar with drug use in general. Total square.

NO CARBON FOOTPRINT reads like a hobby, not a virtue. I would bump it up to hobbies and add in another virtue. In general, your virtues need more explanation/definition. Is she empathetic? Spirited? Honest? Caring? Expound in this section.

For flaws, my concern about drugs as a focal point of the character remains.

I think POLITICAL needs some work. I don't understand what it is saying presently. Why would caring about the environment mean that she is behind on pop culture and technology? Clear that up. Make it clear how this alienates her from people/hurts her over alo.

CUCKOO BIRD should clearly state how it affects her relationships/friendships.

ON THE SENSHI:

I can't stamp it until you have all three attack levels defined. Her regular attack sounds fine, but you need to add in: range, duration, casting action, damage summary, amount of times it can be done, and how it can be deflected/avioded by an enemy. You should do this for all three stages.
