((haha what's gonna be wrong with all this?! XD )) The wind howled and blew as the rain poured down on the streets below. The cloak flapped in the strong wind and hair whipped about her face as Fatin surveyed the area for any signs of trouble...especially of vampire hunters. They were a nuisance even though she was remotely part vampire along with the magical blood that thrummed through her veins. She spent a lot of her life trying to hone her skills to keep alive, despite her hunter mother's wishes to keep her daughters safe and tucked away. Fatin rolled her eyes as she thought of her mother. She was a fight in her own right yet she still wanted Fatin and her sister Erica to stay home. Yeah right, she thought. Staying home's boring! A shadow moved across the roof, sneaking about and trying to keep cover. Again she rolled her eyes. Stupid earth, she thought. She could smell the earth's scent from the distance he was at. yet he still came forward with his crossbow aimed for her heart. She slowly rose from her crouch to a stand on the roof top, turning on the balls of her feet. A frown was on her pretty lips. "You're an idiot," she hissed. "And you're a monster," replied the earth. "Really? Any you are any better eh?" She placed her hand at her waist to her sword. "Damn straight!" He fired the arrow, watching it sail through the air. She launched herself airborne and raced for his head, withdrawing the blade and slicing his head off. She didn't give him a 2nd chance. The smell of blood rose as blood bathed the roof top. "Oh yeah..you're so much better..." She scoffed before she picked his head and body up and pushed it over the roof. "Bye bye!"

Altair's garb managed to keep most of the rain off his skin, but it didn't do much to stop the chill of the wind cutting straight through to the bone. Perched high above the city, he had watched the chase unfold. What a novice. She's so sloppy with her kills. I can see it now. In a matter of moments, the guards will have surrounded her. he smirked, as a drop of rain rolled off his nose, I'd love to see how she handled that. But you have to admit, Altair couldn't help but to chuckle softly, She's still not half bad.. for a woman.Far below, he could see that a few guards were beginning to flock towards where the fresh corpse was on the pavement. Not too much longer and there will be more. Looks like I can't just sit and watch anymore. He backed up a few steps. Then running at full speed, he leapt from his perch. A leap of faith, his mentor had called it. Altair preferred to call it 'damn good luck.' After only a few moments in freefall, he landed perfectly in the pile of hay grumbling, If only it were a bit closer to her, I wouldn't have to run so far in this damned rain. He checked to see the coast was clear, then bolted across the rooftops towards where he had last seen her. I just hope I make it in time.((this is gonna be so awesome! i must say that over and over!))

Shouts from below drew her attention. She glanced below, her eyes flaring red in an eerie glow. Guards had indeed surrounded her...from below. One started to be stupid and tried to climb the building. The others were smart and entered the building to use the stairs that led to the roof.
She frowned and was already moving away from the edge, blade still drawn out. Okay...so dropping a dead body from a semi tall building wasn't the brightest thing she's done. Ultimately, she moved for another edge to leap onto the next building and start running.
That plan was left behind as the door to the roof opened and the guards started to move in. She frowned all the harder, smelling the blood pounding in their throats. She swallowed. They had no idea she was part immortal. Dandy doo! She thought as she gripped the blade.
One moved forward, coming at her in a frenzy and she merely blocked his attack, moving as though it was all a dance...a deadly dance. Artfully she thrust the sword into his chest and shoved him over the edge as another came from behind. She hacked his weapon hand off and shoved him to the ground. A third aimed an arrow at her, sending it soaring through the air.
The arrow struck across her shoulder and she bared her teeth, letting her sorcerer magic thrum, quietly calling to it while the vampire attempted to heal. The dandy thing about human blood? You were slower then average vampires to heal.

"Looks like I was a mite too late."
Altair leapt across the rooftops, landing hard next to the woman. As he did, a few of the guards backed away. Yet a few more pushed inwards. "So you want to do this the hard way, eh?" he stepped forward, causing a few more guards to back off.
Still, a brave guard did not falter and jumped in to attack. Altair quickly parried the attack, kicking him off the edge of the roof. "Any other takers?' he taunted, grinning slyly.
Altair looked at the female, noticing the arrow wound, Maybe I should be kind, and let her kill some too.. Make her feel a bit better about herself.."Nah" he mumbled under his breath.
"So, how would you like to split this? Would you like to take that side and I take this?" he smirked, "Or would you rather I clear them all out for you? Save your pretty little head, hm?" He watched as the guards began closing in on them, "You'd better make your mind up quickly. Or there might not be one left."

Fatin frowned at him. "Really? I don't recall asking for a knight." She parried against another guard, shoving him head first into the rooftop. She danced to the side, somersaulting out of the way of another attack, landing on the man's blade and shoving her foot into his throat.
She summoned a large shadow to conceal her form, her body blending well into the darkness. She took off across the roof, leaving behind shadowy clones to destroy or be killed. She left the roof to jump and land onto another one, moving swiftly across to get away. She prefered quick escapes rather then sudden death.

Isn't that just like a woman. Why did I bother with this again? Altair rolled his eyes as she escaped. "You know I never said I was a knight," he shouted after her.
A few more guards ran towards him to attack. He quickly parried the first, kicked the second back and sliced the third across the chest with his light blade. "Can't you guys just save yourselves and back off?" With that, another guard came charging in. Altair grabbed the guard and threw him back at the others, causing them to bowl over.
I think this would be the perfect time to.. he jumped to the nearest rooftop, hitting it running, To get the hell out of here. Noticing the trail of shadow clones, Altair decided to follow them. They must lead to her. We've got to settle this 'leaving me to clean up her mess' thing.
"I mean seriously," he grunted, taking another long leap, "What kind of assassin just dumps a body into the street."

She got as far as she could while leaving a light trail of blood droplets. She cursed softly under her breath, her hand over her wound. Glancing over her shoulder on occasion, she felt her surroundings for any sign of a threat before she leaps to a shadowy alleyway.
Stepping into the shadows, she tore a small piece of her cloak off and wrapped it around her wound until she could seek a healer...or it heals which ever came first. She grabbed a part of it and pulled tight with her teeth, grunting a little at the sting in her arm.
"Bloody bastards..." She mumbled as she sheathed the blade. She'd have to work her a** off to clean it and protect it...maybe she needed to invest in something that wasn't so low maintance.... hmm.
Fatin licked her dry lips and noted the dryness of her throat, wishing she'd have drank the idiots' blood rather then waste it as she had. His words came back to her though...he didn't say he was a knight...so why did he act like one? She wasn't a princess who needed rescuing...

Quickly, the trail got cold. He was losing her.
"God damn it, this couldn't be a normal woman. She was far too fast and those shadows.." he growled, She sure lost you though. Where'd she go Altair? You can't be -that- out of practice.
Altair began searching the area, his gift of vision finally finding a use in this world again. Those back home in Masyaf called it "Eagle's Vision," but quite simply it was the ability to see truth in his surroundings. He now used this to try and seek out the woman, but her shadows were causing the oddest distortions to the area. Yet somehow, he knew she must be nearby.
"I know you are around here somewhere, woman," he called out to her, "We have some business to settle. There is no need to hide any longer."
He once again scanned the surrounding area, "I know that you are no assassin, but you have some skills. So what exactly are you?"

She finished tying off the makeshift bandage before she summoned her shadows back to her, swallowing them into the palm of her hand. This man was a fool...did he really seek death or to at least have his neck bitten?
She enhaled the night air, scenting and tasting the air for nay enemies... not that the Knight wannabe was a friend. Deciding it was relatively safe, she stepped out of the shadows and into the light, her hands firmly at her side and hair spilling around her face and shadows.
"And what business do we have to settle, Knight?"

Finally, a clear view of the woman's face, he was enthralled for a moment before snapping back to reality. He shook his head slightly to clear his thoughts, "I've already told you. I am no knight. In fact, you could most clearly call me a knight killer."
"By profession, I am an assassin," he stepped around her cautiously, "And the business we have is quite simple. I tried to help clean up your little 'mess,' and you run off. Leaving me to do all your dirty work. If you had thought it out clearly, I would have had no reason to drop in, in the first place."
"Honestly, even though you are clearly not of the brotherhood. You still should know even the most -basic- of rules. 'Do not bring attention to yourself.'" he rolled his eyes, still pacing, "Its common sense not to do something as stupid as you did."

"I didn't ask for your help. You stepped in."
She pointed out. "As for what I am, I'm mostly mortal with supernatural bloodlines. Thus my 'basics' are not going to be the same. I hunt for food."
She watched him circle her, folding her arms across her breasts. "Yes my mistake was slicing his throat when I should have just taken his blood and left him there on the roof."

"And I never said that you did ask. I made it a point to volunteer. However, that does not make it right for you to dump your mess on me," he grumbled, turning to face her once again.
God, those eyes. Practically piercing through to my very soul.
"That does explain your unnatural speed and ability with the shadows," He shook his head once again, remembering to avoid eye contact again, "And I'm glad that you realized your mistake in dumping the body, but it does not excuse it."
The wind and rain had died down to a light trickle, but a low rumbling of thunder echoed in the background. Thanks be for that. It will help mask us for a while longer.
"You know its not too safe for us to be talking here like this. Those guards could catch on again any minute." he searched the area, "No sign of them at the minute."
"But that could quickly change, but I'm sure you already know that," Altair chuckled a bit, "Is there any place close by that you know we could take shelter in? I'm afraid the brotherhood wouldn't take kindly to my bringing a stranger into the Bureau."

She rolled her eyes and held her hand out, palm facing up. A black patch swirled on her palm as shadows grew to encase them from sight, making the alleyway appear as though it was just that: A darkened alleyway.
Due the rain, her hair looked glued to her face as water droplets dripped off her nose and chin. She looked skyward on the thunder, watching as lightening arched across the black sky.
"I wasn't making an excuse and my intent wasn't to dump you with the mess." She looked back at him as another roll of thunder clapped. "The only thing other then shadow is the local inns, businesses, and all around anything that's public. Take your pick. I can continue to conceal us here or until we reach shelter."

"These tricks you play with the shadows come in very handy, but I would prefer an inn," he smirked, "The busier the better the cover. Hide in plain sight, they say."
"Shall we go now?" Altair motioned onwards, "You'll have to lead the way. As I said, I'm still not familiar with these parts."
His eyes caught hers again, if only for a moment. This must be part of her ability. They almost burn.

"Only if you stay at the side." She may not be expert but she wasn't stupid. Male acting all knightish whether he's assassin type or not wielding swords and who all knew what else....that and a hood. She didn't trust anyone at her back until she knew them.
She positioned herself at the alley's entrance, looking around through the shadows to make sure no one else was about. If she had to keep herself safe and anyone asked...well she just hoped it didn't come to that.
