Somewhere among the Appalachian range in what was once Pennsylvania is a base of land held by a team of Celestials. Only a moderate force holding some area that once supported rolling hills of trees and lush vegetation. Now, it is a desolate area. Makeshift barracks allow for a rotating shift of Celestial forces on an outpost the size of a small town. Dead center of this fortified area is a circular patch of ground with somewhat unique scorch marks. This is where an entry point forms, a way back to Sarra. Now it activates again, and several nearby soldiers perk up as the energy crackles in the air.

Then, with a column of light and energy, the first body materializes on this plane. Holding the portal is difficult, so when the light fades, the person quickly steps out of the way, his dull wings seeming brighter due to the heavily overcast sky. Rael, king of the Celestial forces, immediately summons gasps from those around him as forces scramble to find their superiors.

He hadn't announced his coming, just came. Now, he stares at the sky, frowning. This place was so alien, wasted, ruined . . . tainted. Oh, how he hopes his plans can change these hills into the lush land they once were.

Indrid steps through the portal after him. He nods at the man behind the portal and looks around. "Nice work Degial." he said to himself, as if he can here him. He nodded at Rael and at the soldiers. He looked below. He could see the human base barely. He smiled again.

Taking a few strides forward, Rael slowly takes a single knee and reaches down to the ground. With no effort, he pulls up a handful of soil, and stares as it smoothly flows through his fingers. A light wind scatters the dirt over a foot. With a low sigh, Rael raises and looks around. Soldiers around him still are frantic to establish order and get their commander. With a raised hand Rael simply speaks loud enough to be heard. "Stop. There is no need for panic. Certainly you all have faced far worse than my friendly face. We are only here for an experiment. You are all safe, and I would prefer you all be calm."

As the soldiers struggle with that order to calm themselves, Rael looks to the arrival site. Hopefully he won't have to wait long.

((Alright here goes seeing as you entered earth and all, and The Indrid Cold let me take control of the a group of humans here goes))

Thaddius

Thaddius began to lead his squad of four towards the anomaly they picked up on sensors it was close to there base and it must be investigate. There was something odd about this however, this area had seen very little activity over the years and something as large as this to show up was trouble some. Men from all around were being sent to the this bastion of humanity. Probes were sent ahead of the squad to investigate the area, they would arrive there soon enough.

Soon enough a few probes arrived at the site and began scouting, they were all variants of a single design. Each was made of a skull of a fallen human, with some for or optical system that showed up and a red lenses. Each had several robotic arms hanging down as well, and several other systems that were used for scouting. They began moving threw the groups of what seemed like men, floating around gathering what information they could about them.

Information was being sent back to Thaddius and his squad, they were be there soon enough, they were out matched for sure but it matter not. They had the duty of defending humanity and that is what they would do to there dieing breath. At least they had some hope hover ever, a new technology was being tested, it would cloak them as they approach there target. The humans would seem to phase in and out of sight, until you were close enough to them for this to be ineffective.

Sabidan looked up at the probes and quickly took out a long rod. It looked harmless at first, but two glowing gold blades emerged from both sides. He spun it quickly, he often did this when he was preparing to fight.

The probe that was closet to Sabidan moved away from him, it was designed with survival in mind, it began to hover around him but at a range it was curious in manner of speaking. During this time as well the squad that was heading this way was receiving information about what was happening to the probes. The probe eventually moved away from him and went to another area as a different probe approached him. It began to glow light blue as a holographic image appeared below it, it was a massage in English.

"Welcome to Terra the forsaken world, tainted with the blood of humans demons and alike. Your fate here will be the same as any death and damnation" the message read and the probe ran off heading to another area its self.

Thaddius and his squad were soon approaching the gate to Sarra, they would investigate this area and go back home of die here fighting for humanity. Although they would prefer to talk then fight seeing as they were nothing more then a scouting party, they could begin to see an army but they still went on.

Sabidan growled. He could use mass influences of faith to influence people, but could it work on machines? He held his hand out, muttering softly. Soft streaks of light surrounded him. He was trying to make the machine send false information. Would it work? He hoped so.

(I'll leave it up to you Rastko if it works)

The skull probe just studied what he was doing and took a sample from him seeing as it was quiet sneaky in that manner, it sent information back and nothing really happened it was still accurate. His trick did not work but it did something else, the probe hummed loudly before it fell to ground. Its circuits were overloaded and it was now useless.

Thaddius received notification of the probe destruction and began to pick up speed, they sent world back to there command to prepare for war and get the civilians out at away from this place. It seemed that today they would die in defense of humanity as well they knew there enemy. His squad would soon be at the front of the enemies line, as they got closer and closer they began to charge forward, and would fire high volleys of bolts as they charged forward.

Sabidan sighed looking back at the crew. He held his blade. Getting ready to crush the damn thing until it fell to the floor. He smiled. "Well, at least I can use it against the human technology." He thought it sent the misinformation and crashed, which amused him.

He heard the Humans picking up speed. He wanted to end this peacefully. The Humans could be a good ally, but he was still unsure. Sabidan used his wings and flew to the gate, landing gracefully.

He held up his hand. "Please, listen." he said. He influenced them to hear him. If that didn't work, they'd probably destroy him. But he would not be defeated by "bullets" or whatever they were called.

"We mean no harm." Not yet anyway.. he shook his head. "We just set up a small encampment here to survey the area and the demons around it." It wasn't entirely true, but why did they have to know?

Thaddius thought he might listen to him for the time being, he alway did have an interest in talking to the enemies of man. He squad slowed down coming to a stop. "Why should I trust you" he asked as he looked up at the man. He thought for a moment about how to handle this situation seeing as they would die here. His squad moved about trying to get into some position in case this turned ugly and it would at some point.

Sabidan looked down at the man sternly. Not menacingly, just slightly irritated. "Why shouldn't you trust me?" He was in no mood for coy games, but it was true, what have they done to them? They've usually caused more harm then good.

Rael stands lost in thought, anxious for his plan to be put underway. So consumed with his plans was he that the probe did not warrant attention till sparks flew and the gruesome device falls unceremoniously to the ground. As Sabidan moves off to find it's source, Rael chooses a different tactic. Moving closer, he lifts the item in his hands and begins to follow his friend towards the gate. Staring into the eyes of this skull, the King knows this style too well. Death, used for those who do not respect the dead. Rael's wings begin to glow a bit brighter as anger wells in him. In one hand he holds the skull probe, in the other he holds his weapon-handle.

Floating higher than the encampment, his wings shine brighter and brighter over time. Coming down towards Sabidan with a scowl, he manages to pick up the last bits of conversation. Humans . . . more machine than life, and even in death abominable in nature. Staring hard at the world, and decides not to waste Sabidan's influence. When he speaks, it is soft and though controlled, a hint of disgust is evident.
"Don't. You do not trust us, and we don't ask you to. Only to leave us be. We are neither looking for a fight, nor invite one." His words are cautiously chosen. Humanity represent the crux of the war, and all he wants to do is crush the hideous things.

Placing a hand on Sabidan's shoulder, Rael's weapon is now back in his belt. In his off hand, the skull sits in grotesque relief against his beauty. Putting the probe down, Rael crinkles his nose at that thing before backing off towards the gate- backing away from the probe and humans.

Sabidan looks at the troops below and at the probe now tumbling down the hill. He sighs. "Such a waste.." he mutters silently, turning his back on the humans and following Rael.

"What if they attack? What are we to do?" His voice was so low that only Rael can hear him.

Thaddius

One of the squad mates goes over to the skull probe and picks it up, it was that of a fallen comrade, lost to those creatures, the ones they tried to reason with. "Just leave humanity alone and you will not hear from us again, although we are watching" Thaddius said as he watched the two creatures turn then backs to them.

At this point in time Thaddius and his squad began to move out, they did not trust them but then they did not trust anyone that was not human. Although they had plans for this matter it would only be a matter of time before they could properly defend the selves. His squad made way back to there base, the skull probes followed them as well.

With a fraction more light, Rael looks over his wing at Sabidan. His voice is equally soft and meant for Sabidan alone. "Waste? You want to talk to those soiled souls? Then go! The stench of their corruption is a pall I dare not endure lest it remind me why the Purge is required! I do not stop you." He barely keeps his disgust in check. The very thought of carrying a dialogue with this beast and his death-dealing cronies makes him sick. Speeding up, Rael begins barking orders as if he had always existed on the front lines of a war. Orders meant to quickly reorganize a perimiter, securing the camp on all sides. with a hard look in his eyes, the king scans walls and soldiers, looking for weakness to be exploited. "Form ranks, hold fast . . . These beasts are devious. They must not be underestimated. Guard this base, and know that you are not alone! I am with you, your bothers and sisters are with you, we are the Light, we stand as one!"
