Hi! I wanted a little critique on some of my photos: http://feigning-ignorance.deviantart.com/gallery/#Old-Tyme-Fun-Tyme

I'm working on a collection for my photography class. I meant it to be somewhat Steampunk/neo-Victorian, but my friend and I are still just building up the wardrobe, so it's not meant to be just a showcase of the clothing, I suppose.

The photos in the collection are the first 10 in the gallery. I have 20 printed already, although I'll have to reprint some, and I need 5 more pictures to complete the collection.

So, please offer critiques on the photos themselves, suggestions for further photos/outfits, etc. Questions are also welcomed.

I like those a lot! Perhaps had a sepia tinge to them?

I was thinking about doing sepia, but since they're printed traditionally, it would have been a little bit too much trouble... And the chemicals for sepia toning smell horrible °^°

But sepia would be nice, I agree!

Very impressive, i agree that sepia would look effective. And when looking for clothing goggles and top hats would make them near perfect.

Well, just so you guys know, I have 16 of the 20 pictures posted, but the entire project is finished. We hung our collections in the student gallery, and while I didn't get the spot I wanted, everything was okay and I'm happy with how everything turned out.

It's in the same place as before: http://feigning-ignorance.deviantart.com/gallery/#Old-Tyme-Fun-Tyme
And there are even outtakes!

All 20 images have been posted now! Still in the same place: http://feigning-ignorance.deviantart.com/gallery/#Old-Tyme-Fun-Tyme

If you want to see how I arranged them in the gallery, there are pictures in my scraps. http://feigning-ignorance.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2qslnu

And, there will be 5 extra photos from the same series that I will eventually post.

You should definitely try bromoil printing.
Its really my favorite in the world.
Gives it much more of an old/mystic look.
This is one of mine, from two years ago.
Its a lot of effort, but +completely+ worth it

btw, I don't have a scanner, so its a picture of a picture XD

Whoa, man! How does that work? Is that like printing on watercolor paper or something?
