A Plot in 30 Seconds:
Pegasus is thinking about taking up his old job again, just for old times sake. Exploring the tombs in Egypt, he managed to come across Malik.
This is more or less just a wing-it plot
Pegasus sighed as he waited in the plane. He looked out the window as they flew over Egypt. A small smile played on his lips as he lifted a glass of deep red wine. No other wine would suit his taste, it was why he always had the same. Taking a short sip, he noticed the tombs he would have to help dig into. He wasn't wearing his usual dandy attire; it wasn't suitable for this rough work. He sighed, remembering the first time he came upon his idea for Duel Monsters. And the Millenium eye. He hadn't used teh eye in such a long time, he hadn't needed to for quite a while. As he finished his glass, the plane was finally landing. It was fairly smooth until it came to the final halt, jerking slightly. Pegasus was annoyed by it. Standing, he order for his lugage to be taken outside. He stood and walked down, looking up to the hot sky. "Ah, Egypt. A place full of undiscovered wonders." He said to himself. He walked towards where the other archeaologists were gatehred at. "Mister Pegasus, sir, I think we've found something. The bodies of the court from five thousand years ago." Pegasus tilted his head as they showed teh computer, showing pictures of the tombs. The priest, high priestess, and so on.
"Intersting." was all he said, a smile still curved on his lips.
"Well, i suppose I should check it out then. You should keep digging around teh area. Perhaps find glyphs or slabs of some sort in teh ground." He said, heading into the darkness of the entrance.
"Its so dark, I can barely see anything." He complained, turning on a small flashlight.

Marik sat at his small wooden desk deep underground. He sat there reading over the ancient scriptures for what had to be the thousandth time in his life. In fact, if he actually had anything else to read down there,he wouldn't bother with the scriptures. He knew them by heart, besides with his father in the Shadow Realm he wasn't being forced to be a Tomb keeper anymore. However,he knew that he couldn't leave the tomb,not yet anyway, so he might as well keep his mind fresh in the ancient ways. He looked out of the small room and got to his feet. He hadn't heard people around the tomb in a long time,most people avoided it,however,there were people there. He looked down the passageway and saw a strange light, an artificial light. He then realized he had heard the voice of the owner of the light just before it had turned on." Turn back."Marik said,"This is not the place for silly tourists."

Pegasus jumped as he heard a voice. "Oh, my... Someone's down here? Well, I can't just do that now... Research, my friend." He said cheerfully, taking another step or so. If I may ask, what are you doing down here?" He lowered his light, trying to find where the voice had come from. "Well, since you're down here... I can assume there might be some traps to keep others out, no?" Pegasus wasn't stupid, he stayed where he was after a last step, not wanting to find any unwanted traps, if there were any. Taking chances like that could get him killed, or perhaps trapped.
He sighed, brushing hair away from his golden eye. He needed to see a little better so he used some powers from it. His lips parted as his eye came across the boy who was standing a few meters ahead. "Are you.. A Tomb Keeper?" he asked. He's heard of those who are still guarding tombs now a days. But in most tombs he knew skeletal remains were only left of them. This was a living Tomb Keeper! It amazed him to no end.

Malik scoffed silently to himself. The man seemed so...cheery. He noticed that the man was talking only after a moment or so in between,and frankly he didn't feel like answering the questions of someone breaking into the tomb at the moment. He put his arms behind his back,letting his left hand clutch at the Millennium Rod.If he had to,he planned to turn this man away using it,if the man wasn't smart enough to turn around on his own."Yes."He replied smoothly,"My family has guarded this tomb for a very long time,and so I suggest you leave,this is not a tomb for the eyes of outsiders.There are no traps here,there is no need for them."He replied to the man,tightening his grip on the rod behind his back.

Pegasus tilted his head as he took another step forward. "No need...? You vanquish outsiders yourself?" He asked, smiling. His Millennium Eye would be able to get rid of this man if needed. "It's so dark... Would the light hurt your eyes, by now?" Another few steps forward. He was practically daring the other to try and rid him. He would just send the other into the Shadow Realm.
Being in darkness for so long, his normal eye was able to adjust to see slightly better. It still amazed him. Not just the fact this man was a living Tomb Keeper. He was quite handsome. But still, Pegasus kept to himself. Speaking of darkness... All this time, all alone. Even if the other man had some form of light, would the sun burn his eyes? Pegasus thought it over.

"Yes,we have ways to get rid of trespassers."Malik told him,not liking that the man wasn't taking him seriously at all.Of course he couldn't know of the Millennium items."Wouldn't know,I've only been outside once in my life."He said,pulling the rod from it's place,though keeping it behind him. Malik stepped forward,"This is the last time I warn you: Leave now,or suffer the consequences Outsider."Malik said glaring at the man.

Pegasus smiled, touching his Millennium eye. "Well, maybe you could come to see? If the sun burns your eyes I can always lend you something to shield them." He offered, stepping further into the tomb casually as he was ready to use his eye. "How well can you see in the dark..." He asked, coming nearer to the other man.
"Oh, I completely forgot. My name is Pegasus Crawford." Turning off the flashlight and placing it into a utility belt, he reached out his hand. "And you?"
What could this person possibly be able to do? Pegasus had the Millennium Eye; a powerful item among many.

"I am not going outside,besides I don't need to to shield my eyes."He said,still glaring at the American. "i can see just fine, I was raised in the dark."He replied. He looked at the hand as if it was an alien,having never been in contact with people from outside,the action was weird to him."Malik Ishtar."He said reaching out and taking the others hand,and pulling the rod from behind his back and holding it up towards the other in warning," You made a grave mistake coming into the Tomb the Ishtar's guard,and that mistake will be your last."

Pegasus glared, squeezing the hand he had tightly. "Why dont I just send you to the Shadow Realm, then?!" He growled, his Millennium eye began to give a slight glow. "Release me! Or perhaps you wish to spend the rest of your days there?" He tugged his arm slightly as he glared at 'Malik'. "I agreed to come here in order to find any other secrets to the Millennium Items. Specifically, the Eye." He mentioned, tugging Malik into his chest as he grabbed hold of the rod. "It looks like you have one too..." He half-whispered, not tugging at the rod, just holding onto it, even with Malik's hand already there.

Malik hissed in pain as the other squeezed his hand." You want to send me to the Shadow Realm?That's a laugh.How many people have you done that too? You sure you're man enough to do it?"He snapped at him."Well you won't find your answers here!" He growled and tried pulling from him,"Unhand me this instant! And don't try and take the Rod from me,you don't know the secrets of this item."

Pegasus smirked, pressing his forehead against Malik's. "Yes, I've sent plenty to the Shadow Realm for my own game. A younger brother just to get to the older. A grandfather to get to his grandson. A few others here or there. It's actually quite fun.I think even a servant of mine once." He smirked as his eye caught Malik's. "Who ever said i was going to take it?" He purred. "Hmm... No I suppose answers for my Eye wont be here... But at least I have discovered a thing or two while I'm here."

Malik tensed as his forehead met the other's,"When I was younger I sent my father to the Shadow Realm, don't test me."He said."Then let go of it!"He snapped at him,trying to break his hand free from the other's grip,"What exactly do you think you've found down here? You know I don't care what you do,just leave! The Pharaoh's tomb is not for the eyes of outsiders."Malik repeated to him.

Pegasus pulled away for a moment, still keeping his hand on the Rod. "Pharaoh?" He questioned. "This is... His tomb...?" He released the Rod, stepping back. "Unfortunately... I cant just tell the others to leave for no reason... They'd ask questions and think I'm keeping something important to myself. What could I tell them, perhaps?" He asked quietly. "They already sent something in here a few moments ago to take pictures. The pictures were very clear, showing a few things, but they didn't get you at all." Pegasus crossed his arms, keeping a smug smile on his face. "Are you forced to stay here...?"

"Yes this is his tomb,and we've always protected it awaiting his return."He said almost angrily. He sighed,"I don't care what you do,but the contents of this tomb can't be known to anyone! They sent something down here?"He mentally cursed at himself. He had no clue how the alarm hadn't been sprung by these people,though it was very old and it likely needed replacing,"Forced to stay here? Not anymore. With my father gone I can leave at anytime I want to."He replied to the man.

Pegasus just kept a soft smile as he listened to Malik. No, the Pharaoh's tomb shouldn't be uncovered. Yet... He's seen this before, or something similar. The Pharaoh was to return, right? Or so Pegasus had a slight vision of.
"Alright then... I can have everyone here gone in a matter of moments. If..."
He held out a hand to Malik. "You leave the tomb. Don't worry about guarding it. I'll make sure this would be off limits." He felt fairly smug right now. Maybe this boy could be a new servant or pet for him? He would have to think it over. "So, then..." He smirked.
