I think this tends to happen alot in the manga/anime
like Saitou's fight with that blind dude Usui... >.>

i would find more examples and picuters considering theres more than that moment but im lazy

That and that one moment kinda made my fear of Saitou ._.

I think that overkill in anime and manga is a common thing, but necessary to get through to the common man. Yeah, a broken arm doesn't drip epic amounts of blood, but how else would you know that it is broken in the naime or manga? Besides, the blood makes a cool art effect.
