THE NEVARIEN RELIGION
Following the advice of Ichigio_Pie I've decided to edit this topic and put it back on the top so that anyone with questions regarding my religious beliefs can have them answered.
All of my posts will be in blue and I will quote each of your questions and reply to them individually, this should make my answers more clear and less confusing.
PS: I’m not allowed to post the following
* The name(s) of any location that involves other Nevariens.

Captain Saikyo Joe So, uh...what's the Nevarien Religion?
The Neverien religion is a polythiestic religion revloving around the Shatterer(no gender or both) and its children. We view the Mother as our second highest diety and we worship her children
There is so much more but id prefer people to ask specific questions so that i can answer there questions in more detail

This might seem like a stupid question, but who/what is the Shatterer? Like, for the Native Americans (generally) there is the Earth Mother and the Sky father, for Wiccans, there is the one Deity that is divided into the God and Godess. Basically, I guess I'm asking what the story behind the Shatterer is, if there is one. How did it get it's name?

Like, for the Native Americans (generally) there is the Earth Mother and the Sky father, for Wiccans, there is the one Deity that is divided into the God and Godess. Basically, I guess I'm asking what the story behind the Shatterer is, if there is one. How did it get it's name? The Shatterer was the first being to come into existence, it is the one who created the first gods and godess and shatterd the All when his children began to fight amongst themselves and lose all regard for non divine life.
And that was not a stupid question, no one outside of my religion could have known and im glad thath your asking questions since im dying to teach my superiors that people would accept us if they only knew and that hiding away for the rest of eternity is a bad mistake

Who is it that you believe went to hell and you admire? Or are you implying that since you'd be in hell you would be literally looking up to people who are in "heaven"? I'm utterly confused.
I was also wondering if you were the one to make this all up, how many members you have in this religion or affiliated with it, if you guys have a "Holy Book" of sorts, and how you all made up the religion.
And you didn't really explain the beginning story of the "Shatterer" and the religion.

Now this is debatable but the Christian religion dictates that anyone who doesn’t accept god and Jesus will go to hell, if that is true then the Persian Emperors, Ramses the great, the good roman emperors, Socrates, Plato, Gandhi, Buddha and so forth are all in hell and id love to meet them
Im not the only member of my religion trust me, im just one of the few that’s actually willing to talk about it.
As to how many people believe i my religion, honestly id have to look into that but id say its above one hundred but below three to four hundred. most members fake being another religion and etc to avoid the problems that come along with being open about it
We do have holy books called Aknavair, when the First Empress first began preaching her new religion she had all of her teachings written down so that when she died her teachings could still be read and learned.
Im sorry about that i was trying to be brief so that you didn’t have to read a pages worth of what you would call a myth and i call history and half a pages worth of my religions history which would be severely lacking in dates and numbers since I don’t have access to my clans library right now
If you would like it i could post a much more detailed version of my religions creation myth etc

Mrithyu How many deities do you have? A rough estimate would be eighty but then again i may be seriously wrong becuase you pray to certain gods for certain things and as a result certain gods and godess may never become known to you. That and every clan has a clan diety that watches over them along with your guardian cat.

i have two questions.
is your religion closely associated with anything of the mayans?
how does one find a guardian cat or does it find you?
if i seem like i'm being rude. i'm not. it's just that i'm glad that there are soem people who are willing to discuss their religions regardless of what others might think of them. i'm proud of you for that. you're illing to discuss what you believe in and that shows people that we should not be discriminating anyone based solely on what he or she believes in. this is what i believe causes people to be so biased and hateful because it's something that they're not used to hearing or seeing.
