Another time,
Another place,
Another universe...
It is said that there are a thousand worlds, in a thousand different places, which have created a thousand different circumstances. In this particular world, on a planet known only as Earth, the advancements of science have lead to the creation of mutations of organic beings. Raw nuclear wastes, fusion reactors gone haywire, alien robots, and a number of materials lead to natural change, if the scientists who continue to push the envelope each day lead to new advancements.
In the interior of a lab, there has become an arms race of new biological weapons to use as a new formed army corps, made of whatever brilliance to be created. When things go wrong, though... or right.... they go BIG...

Time: 0800 hours...
Location: Tokyo Subprefecture.
Operation: Robocop
The C-130 that carried the various troopers now was designed to consider the push of a new project: An alien military project. But before field testing on the battleground, the robot was to undergo a less... hostile environment. The designation of the operation came from the iconic film known as robocop, the mission to bust up a small time operation and come out successful. The alien technology needed a good run through, and the drop was special. She was to be air dropped onto the warehouse, and succeed. A pair of military SpecOps stared at her, unable to comprehend her. Whatever the matter, the lights turned red, as the back door opened, venting the cold air of 3,000 feet, a very low drop, into the plane.

"Mission status: green. Commencing operations."
A half-organic, half-robotic figure steps forward, peering down for her cue, as she ran a diagnostic on her equipment, including the parachute specially modified to handle her weight and the height. Upon confirming everything to be in order, and acquiring visual contact with the target, she jumps, going horizontal in the air and quickly deploying the parachutes. Several small ones deploy, designed only to slow her descent enough for her to brace for impact. She scans over the warehouse and the surrounding area, trying to figure out the best way to approach the objective.

The roof of the warehouse was like any other in 2007. Corrugated metal that left a loud clang when the robot connected with the metal. A pair of smoke pipes vented steam from the heaters that kept the inside warm and cozy, at least to whatever. K-IV-A had landed in the middle, right on target. The door was to the north, as well as a quartet of cameras on each corner of the building.

The robotic maiden surveys the area for a moment, and then reports through a comm-link, "K-IV-A reporting. Landing successful. Eliminating rooftop surveilance."
Then, in a mechanical manner, a large rifle is pivoted from her back over her shoulder, and into her waiting arm. Taking aim, she fires at one of the cameras, with the intention of disabling it. While the cameras may have already seen her, it would be important to eliminate them for the future rendezvous with her ride out of here.

(cameras are generally not designed for rooftop surveillance...)
A loud bang fired, as the bullet fired out of the barrel and punched through the protective casing, making a dazzling light show of sparks that rained down onto the ground.
"Roger K-IV-A. Proceed with search and destroy."

((True, you've got a good point there... What's done is done, I guess, though. I'll assume that since no rolls or anything were needed with the first camera, that I can go ahead and destroy the other three.))
K-IV-A wastes no time in dispatching the other three cameras. She had not been equipped with any silencing equipment, which meant she was likely alerting whoever was inside the building that she had arrived, but this was of little matter--the main purpose of the exercise was combat training as it was, anyhow.
She heads for the doorway, bashing it open with her heavy rifle and pointing the gun inside.

Opening the door only proceeded to let a hailfire of bullets come flying towards the robot. Two men were firing small 9 millimeter pistols at her, though without really looking around the extra fire couldn't be precise.
One had his pistol jam, while the bullets missed and hit around her area.
"Kill it!" one shouted...

K-IV-A, unphased by the poorly-directed shots, takes aim and fires at the man with the un-jammed gun.
Unfortunately, she was hasty in her attack and the bullet whizzes past.

The bullet flew wide, as the men continued to return fire. One managed to land a hit, only to make a loud clang against the robot.
"She's armored, grab the vulcan!"

Hearing this, she knew she had to stop this now. Taking aim again, she fires once more, at the same target.
The shot connects, and penetrates, wounding the soldier but not by any means taking him down.

As the one man felt the bullet hit him hard, the other raised his pistol in anger, firing another round. The pistol backfired though, exploding in his hand, as he let out a cry in pain.
(okay, kids, this is why you don't buy cheap weapons made in china.)

((So that's one gun that's jammed and one that's backfired, now? xd ))
K-IV-A takes this opportunity to move in for the kill. Her body humming, she drops her rifle's aim and approaches the wounded man, tiny points of light shining across the surface of her body. She fires off her special attack, a laser burst, with intent to fry him.
Unfortunately, there is a malfunction, and the laser emitters all shut down, the humming dying down into silence. If it were in K-IV-A's nature to swear, this would have been a great time to do so.
((Okay, kids, this is why you don't buy cheap laser weapons from the interstellar equivalent of China))

The man who had his hand blown cried in agony, as he refocused. Scared and shaking, the other thug beside him fired another shot wildly, although the calm of hearing the lessening hum gave him some inspiration. To the left, the sounds of clamoring could be heard.
