Casper, the previous night, had been searching for random things in the Ruinous database. Remembering a comment of Timor's, she jokingly put in: The Ruinous Crown, but had fallen asleep shortly after. When she woke up, she found this printed out beside her:

Today’s War The Crown of The Ruinous
The Crown of The ruinous is an old legend, built upon by the creators of The Ruinous Vladimir and Dimitri Vallejo. As the legend goes, when the two began their quest for power, they transferred all of their powers into a single ring-sized crown that will morph to the wearer’s tastes, and enhance their powers as well as transfer fresh powers in, the likes of which have varied from story to story. Not much is known of how, where, or why they created this crown, all that is really known is that no crown exist in today’s Ruinous; at least that the members know of.
