Sekizen was lying beneath a lonely tree in this vast land. His eyes fluttering open as the sunlight seemed to greet him. He began to gather himself as he stood up and stretched out his front paws.
To him it was just another lonely day that he would wander around this land. He was determined to find somewhere he belonged. Since his original homeland was not the place for him. though where to look now that was the hard part. Since he had never before ventured beyond those borders...
"I wonder where I am," he thought as he looked around to see where he ended up last night. Before he pasted out exhausted from all his walking. "I don't believe I've ever been here before," he whispered silently looking about with a lost look on his face.

Emm'ahlie knew the feeling that feeling. That feeling of not knowing where home was. She had a home at one point in her life. She remembered it very much. It was her home in a pride. It was a safe pride she loved that pride, but she had her reasons for leaving. that whole thing. Everyone wanting to take care of her. She knew for a fact that she could take care of herself, it was something that she could do very easily... Even though she was still prone to her sickness. She passed out very often. she got sick easily, some times couldn't hold down a meal It all depended on the day. Some days she could go most of the day with out passing out. But then there was the days where she couldn't wander far at all. then the days in between where she would quickly pass out, a lot of the time she'd bump her head at that point pass out and not remember anything.
Right now was one of those in between days. She had a sluggish tired feeling to her. Her body was starting to numb at least the slightest bit. It made her wander a little slower but she knew she had to keep going. She wanted to find a place to stay for the night. She couldn't just stop and give up. Nope she had to find a place. She needed to find a place to sleep for the night, that was for sure. She keep her eyes on the ground, it was easier to keep her head down than anything else. But she knew for a fact that she had to pay attention. She needed to keep an eye out for a place to go, she needed to find a place to go for the night.
As she lifted her head she noticed something. Well it was more of some one. she smiled slightly. It was another lion. A large white male. Black markings. She wasn't that sure if she would bother them, if anything she knew it wasn't that smart to get into a fight. She wandered closer to him, pausing slightly as she thought she heard a voice. She moved just that much closer, reaching out a paw and using it to move his chin to face her. She still had a feeling this wasn't the smartest yet at the same time she didn't have the heart to just leave him laying there. She knew the feeling of being looked over when she passed out. It wasn't the best feeling in the world. "Are you okay?" She asked quietly.

Sekizen out of shock jerked his chin upward from her paw. He was out of words since he was never really used to this kind of situation and just plain out wondered when she had gotten this close to him. The wall he'd built between trusting others was strong and that also affected him. As he laid there he wondered to himself if he should answer her honestly or lie. Knowing both would probably hold some type of consequence. As he thought it over he concluded that he would probably be better off lying. Even if he was never very good at lying. Since he had figured out some very good excuses but knew deep inside that it was just he was afraid to trust someone. Even with something as frivolous as asking if he was okay. Something that should have been a simple task.
"Well..." he began.”...yah..." He looked away hating the fact that he had just lied to the only person who stopped to check on him. In this place that seemed empty being on your lonesome.
Though as he listened he could hear what seemed to be tiredness or heavy breathing. So he looked over her and he noticed that she seemed to be really warned out. Something inside him urged him to make sure she was alright. Since something in his instinct told him she may not be. “ … Are you okay though?” He asked as he glanced back at her with concerned eyes.

Emm'ahlie looked down at the male then blinked a bit. "Alright." She smiled slightly before flopping back down on her haunches, making herself as comfortable as she could. She flicked her tail around a bit before looking back down at him. "You don't look so okay..." She cocked her head to the side before smiling at him a bit. "You look a little lonely." She chuckled slightly before sitting back on her haunches and letting out a small yawn. she hated when she was tired, she hated when she coulnd't last just like a normal lion and wander around for a long time. She wished she could be like every other lion but she wasn't that lucky.
She looked down at him before blinking, it took her a moment before she realized what he was talking about. She knew for a fact that she was panting again. But she was so used to be tired all the time that she didn't even notice that she was moving slow or that she was panting. She hated it so much. She looked at the male and then chuckled slightly. "Only a little bit." She laughed again then flicked her hair out of her eyes with a sigh. "I don't do that good with traveling some times." She sighed then nodded. "I've always been like this I jsut need to rest for a bit." She gave him a soft smile.

Seizken couldn't help but giggle as he watched her. "Well your right to be honest, I am completely and utterly lost." With that he just plopped down on the ground and put both his paws under his chin. "This land is just so big and wide. Its something I could have never imagined..." After trailing off into his thoughts he glanced over at her. "Oh i see, well to be honest I don't either. I mean I always get lost, I'm a lion with no sense of direction. Which is why I really never tend to leave my homeland until now ..." He rolled over on to his back staring up into the sky.
Realizing he was talking to much about himself he just stared and said, "You know if you'd like i could maybe stay here with you while you rest. That way we can both have some company." He smiled up at her as he finished those last words. Thinking how long had it been since he'd smiled like this. It felt almost like he was given a gift. One that he'd lost long ago and was starting to grasp again. As he openned his heart just a tiny bit for someone to come in to.

Emm'ahlie smiled at the male, there was something about him that really made her smile. She chuckled a little more and nodded toward him. "I've been lost for a long time, if I tired hard enough I could probably get back home." She couldn't help but to laugh a bit at the idea. "But I really like my wandering." She grinned at the idea. "It's pretty fun wandering you have to admit." She looked down with a smile. "If you have no where to do it doesn't matter if you're lost." She nodded at him then batted at him playfully. "It doesn't hurt at all. I mean it's another story if you have to go some where." She winked before looking up staring off into space before her attention was turned toward him again as he was talking.
"You wouldn't mind my company?" She smiled shyly before stretching her paws out then laid down next to him. "Thank you." She purred quietly before nudging him. She gave him a large grin. "It's really nice to have some company, once in a while. I have to admit, it's the only down side not being able to hang out with people all the time. It's hard to keep friends... Unless they are wandering with you."

Seizken laughed rather loudly at the thought of trying hard to get home. "I guess when others say home is the easiest place to find, they didn't know us." As he thought about what she said about being lost he just nodded and brushed his tail in front of her face playfully. "Your right, I mean when you wander you feel free. Unlike when you’re stuck in one place and are restrained in the boundaries." With that he just shivered remembering how he used to have little freedom just what seemed a little while ago.
Getting out of his thoughts he turned back to listen to her. "Of course not I'd actually enjoy it," he said thinking how he was growing quite fond of her actually, “And no, thank you. I thought I'd be stuck out here alone forever." Grinning slightly he Nudged her back lightly in the side. “Really? Wow well glad I could be of service.” He said grinning more brightly and pretending to bow from his current spot. Laughing with a slight roar, he laid back down and glanced out over the land. “As for friends I know … and yah I guess that a down side. Though there is always a small chance of meeting new people. I mean I did meet you out here in what seems like the middle of nowhere.”

Emm smiled at the male fondly, he was pretty nice and he was one of the only others that he had met who seemed to understand her and understand what she was thinking. She grinned at him at the idea, she loved having some one understand her. She knew that many looked at her weird for wanting to wander around all the time. She had ran into many others and all of them really thought her crazy to want to keep wandering around. She thought they were crazy for thinking that she was crazy. She chuckled a bit at herself before pawing back at him. "It's not fun to be stuck in one place." She nodded thoughtfully she stretched out and bumped into him playfully.
"I'm glad that you want me to join you as your company. There isn't many out here that want company." She chuckled before flicking her hair out of her eyes and then lifted a paw and carefully started cleaning it. She giggled slightly at his nudge then nodded. "Really." She placed a paw on his side as he laid down a smile still on her face. "I came out into the middle of no where because not many are around here. So if I pass out because of my sickness there less of a chance of getting hurt." She chuckled a bit. She was pretty smart when it came to that.

Seizken was shocked at how different this lioness was than any lion he'd met before. She seemed to love all the things others he'd met before hated and he loved how he actually understood her. Back in his old homeland he could only dream of understanding half of their ideals. He was actually starting to feel a bit relaxed like he didn't have to worry about her hurting him like the others in his life had. Though he quickly was awakened from his thoughts as she pawed back him. In return he just laughed, smiled brightly, and began trying to try and tickle her with his tail. "You've got that right, its like being in a cage." As she bumped into him he just grinned a smile warmer than any before.
"Well who wouldn't? Your great company." He said in reply before turning and watching her begin to clean herself. As her paw was placed on his side something inside felt jumpy and he was wondering what this feeling was. It wasn't his normal dark and scared feeling he normally felt. "Weird," he thought silghtly. "Yes really. An oh well that is a really smart idea. Though you know it might just be easier if say a male lion traveled around with you? That way you could have company and a friend to protect you whenever you needed maybe a rest." He just smiled thinking that maybe that idea might actually not only be good for her, but him as well. Since traveling with someone is better than by yourself by far. As for the male lion he mention, well he had someone in mind.

Emm looked at him before scooting just a little closer with a smile on her face. She couldn't help but to feel pretty happy at the idea. Having company that is. She didn't get that often. Some lions liked to avoid lions who wandered around. Because of the fact that she looked so skinny, and so under taken care of many avoided her. She couldn't control her weight, she was a skinny lioness with a high metabolism but not being able to hunt much didn't help her at all. "Cages are never fun." She chuckled softly before stretching out a little more and then yawning.
"Aw, well thank you. I've never considered myself good company but that's nice to know." She looked down at her paw that was on his side. She knew that once or twice she had fallen asleep on others, when she woke up they were gone, she would really enjoy having some one around that wouldn't leave her, some one who she could travel with and enjoy spending time with. She looked up at him with a soft smile on her face. "Would you like to be the male that hangs around with me? It'll be hard because there will be time where I pass out, and fall asleep while we're talking, and I won't be much help often when it comes to hunting..." Her voice trailed, she could be something else but she was getting along with him, maybe it could work out.

Seizken's eyes openned wide, " Really? Well maybe I'm seeing a different lionness then." He giggled a little at his attempt at a joke. As he thought of the idea of being able to be with her and be able to spend his wandering days with her. He just looked at her with soft eyes and replied, "Yes, I would love to be that love to be that lucky male lion who gets to hang around a wonderful lioness like you." There was no one ounce of doubt in his mind or voice when he said that. For how could he not want to be around someone who he's able to understand. Though part of him would proably also be jealous if it were anyone else. Since to him actually understanding someone even a little was a rare gift. "Are you tired though?" He asked with his head cocked to the left as he heard her yawn.
Though as he heard her ask questions he thought he'd give her some answers. "Well good thing I can hunt then!" He said as he moved a bit closer to her too. "That way you won't have to hunt much and if you say fall asleep or pass out while I'm with you or talking to you. I'll just make sure no harm comes to you and you have some nice place to rest. Even if I have to carry you there, Hows that for deal?" He grinned a sly like smile, happy for once he might actually be able to help someone or care for them in away. As he thought about it, it might actually work out too. This could maybe even be good for him. Since maybe this would be the one person who wouldn't just leave him in the dead of night, and could prove that some lions or lioness could be trusted.

Emm chuckled before sticking her tongue out at him playfully. "Well to bad for that lioness I'm stealing you." She winked at him. She couldn't help but bot giggle a bit herself. his laughter was contagious to her. He had her completely distracted, she wasn't even thinking about the fact that she has been to the pin where she was about to pass out earlier. She was still feeling tired just not as bad as it was before. She was just sleepy now, she could totally go for a nap. But she was still enjoying her company. She wasn't expecting something like this day. She smiled at him. "I would enjoy that thank you." She smiled then looked down shyly. "Yeah I'm a little tired.
She looked at him before smiling. "You can? I don't know that many lions who can. I know plenty of lionesses but not many lions.." Her voice trailed before she nudged him. "I'm glad you can though." Her eyes started to light up with what he was saying after that. He would carry her if he had too? that was one of the nicest things that she had heard in her life. she moved closer to him, so her body was pressed against hers. She purred very quietly before resting her head on his paws and smiling as she closed her eyes. "It sounds like a great deal." She giggled before yawning again. "I hope you don't mind, I'm going to take a nap..." Her voice was slightly slurred, as full on tiredness was starting to hit her. She needed sleep and she was feeling pretty safe.
