its always good to remember.it happened with me a couple of times (but i didnt buy it).
and i heard that sometimes gaia cant help you, you simply lose everything for good.

Hmmm I can remember some1 trying to scam me 1 time 3nodding
It was a link that tells u to sign in on ur gaia. And that link looked exactly like gaia. eek But I knew it was a trap because when I clicked on the link, a warning sign said that I was leaveing gaia 3nodding So thank god I didn't fall for that xp

Well there are some adroit haxxors out there that wouldn't even need your password.
but nevertheless, it's a good practice to not give it out.
