Whoa, it can sure make some sexy chokers!

*cough* Anyways, I'd love to get into it, but I can't so much as find a youtube video showing the basics. Does anyone have book recommendations or else useful sites? I think it would be a great way to embellish some of reticules.

Okay, so apparantly there are a -LOT- of great books on tatting available, most of them are kinda old. Pop down to the public library and see what's available in their crafts section. The best ones have nice clear photos and illustrations to show you how to work with the shuttle.

I've seen it and would love to take it up one of these days. I love the intricate designs... But it looks pretty complicated!

I have a book entitled Learn to Tat. I have yet to use it, but it seems pretty straightforward. It also comes with an instructional DVD.

I just looked that up on Amazon and it is actually fairly cheap and has very positive reviews. I'm sure the DVD would be very helpful as well. I will definitely consider purchasing this! Instead of wishing I knew how to tat I could make it happen. And it has been a while since I have learned something new.. :3
Thanks!
