It was sure to be a quiet day at the Benedict Center. Asrafel was dusting. He had on a little apron, and was brushing the high shelves with a colorful little dusting brush, when the door chimed and his father and mother walked in. In his mother's arms was his new brother, whom he had met days ago at home. He squealed and fluttered to his parents, hugging them both in turn before requesting to hold his little brother and taking him in his arms. The most adorable bundle of Love was a welcome sight on this dreary, dull day! He giggled, and Aurion giggled. He coo'd, and Aurion stared. He squealed in happiness, and Aurion winced his eyes at the sound.

"Oh, I'm so glad you three came to visit!" Asrafel practically sung out, as Nio pulled off his winter coat and flopped into a chair, pulling his wife down into his lap unexpectedly. "I wish Orestae was here so we could show him off, but she's been out of the office for quite some time. I suppose it's maternity leave! Everyone's having babies!" This last phrase was said with a strange, odd longing. No, Asra. You can't have babies too.

"Is Lani around? It's why I came." Nio was bursting for days, wanting one thing. He wanted to show his sister his child; in a way, he wanted to show the woman she was wrong. This was right. He, Enoh, and their child.. this was meant to be. All her worrying was for naught.

"Of course! She's in the back, she'll be out in a minute. I'm sure she's heard us." Asrafel said while twisting the baby in his hands, and nuzzling his nose with Aurion's. This elicited various squeals and babbling from the little one.

"Shaunaaa! You're going to rip my arm out of its socket!"

"Just because it's your birthday doesn't give you an excuse to be lazy~!" Shauna chirped, skipping along the road with her mother. Eight blinked, rolling her eyes and just deciding (for her arm's sake) to skip along with the fox child in front of her. The fact that today was her birthday gave her every excuse to be extremely lazy today! Oh well, a little visit to see Asra and Lani never killed anyone, right? Hopefully her friend remembered the date.

"Where're heeeeere~!" The fox sang out, literally dragging the half demon into the building. She'd decided to be difficult and planted her feet firmly on the ground, stumbling in when Shauna showed a very sudden strength that came out of nowhere. Eight grinned, draping her arms over Shauna's shoulders and standing on her toes to put her head on top of Shauna's. Who was around...?

"Hello, stranger." Eight stuck her tongue out, waving to Nio and Enoh sitting together in a nearby chair. Wait...something was different about this picture, and it was painfully obvious what it was; Enoh's stomach wasn't so huge anymore. Was the baby around then? "Didn't expect to see you two around here today. I must know, was it a boy or a girl?" Enoh had said she wanted the baby's gender to be a surprise and, well, the woman obviously wasn't pregnant anymore!

Eight's chatter was background noise for Shauna at the moment, she was too busy looking around the room for Asra. She spotted his colorful ribbons first, then spotted the baby babbling in his arms...wait...baby? Slipping from her mother's grasp - she missed seeing Eight stumble - Shauna snuck over to Asra to try and peek over his shoulder at Aurion. "Aw, how cute!"
