Gus is curiosity times a million, he’s the boy who must know everything, must get an answer to every ‘ why’ he asks or he can’t sleep at night. This innate need to know often leads him on little adventures to discover why and how things work or happen as they do. He’s also easily entertained for hours by informative books, as well as detective fiction and educational tv. (Shark week ftw!) As long as he's learning Gus is usually happy.
Gus displays classic hoarding behavior. Keeping practically anything and everything he comes in contact with. While everything is organized and stacked for easy access he will eventually end up with more things than any one person needs. Gus is also very possessive of his personal things, he might recommend a good book to you but even if he had three copies he’d not lend you a single one. It’s not that he’s greedy in this aspect so much but that he’s formed emotional attachments to his things. Every item has a story to him, a special meaning based on where he got it or why.
Socially Gus is about average, he’s not the type to run up to everyone he meets and babble his life story to them but he doesn’t hide in the corners either. In conversations he listens as much as he speaks, except when overly excited, and he tries hard not to be too bossy with others.
Overall Gus is probably best described as a nosy but friendly child with item attachment issues.
