Deep in the hearts of the Underground rests a large, run down looking warehouse. During the day it seems like an unknown territory, abandoned and quiet. However, at night, the place seems to come alive.
Loud bass can be heard booming around the building, flashing lights creeping through every crack and bouncing neon shine off the pavement. Inside the warehouse, it appears to be a rave, going from sun down to sun up. A DJ booth is in the far corner on a large platform, with different upraised circles for those brave enough to show their stuff. The lights are rather hypnotic and blinding, blinking fast to the heavy beats and electronic sounds. It could be frightening to lose someone in the thick mass that comes to party every night.
The apparent subculture who haunt the rave hall consist mostly of goths and other outcast oddities.
There are a few leather sofas, cracked and stained, lining the middle wall. Against the far wall opposite of the DJ booth is a tarnished bar, though still very much in use with stools and drinks galore. Behind the bar is a door, which can only be accessed if you have a key. The door leads to a staircase leading down into a basement, which is the home of Tariq and Khaliq, the owners and maintainers of the Aphotic Crush Rave Hall.

A moment after leaving the shop, Taji and Mara appeared in front of Aphotic Crush. She smiled faintly, her embrace lingering a moment before she pulled away. "Ready to go inside?"

Mara blinked...and blinked again. "That was quick! I feel a little disoriented, but ok. I guess I'm ready...never been to a rave before."

"I'm glad you're okay. This should be fun," Taji started, leading the girl into the loud, bright building.

Mara looked wide-eyed at all the flashing lights, booming music and colorful people. "Wow...This is quite different from home...."

Taji smiled, nodding in agreement before pulling Mara to the center of the crowd, beginning to move to the music.

Mara hesitated before moving. "I'm not used to this." She laughed nervously.

"It's easy if you just focus on the beats," Taji shouted over the music, moving hypnotically under the flashing strobe lights of the rave.

"Ok..." Mara shouted over the booming bass. Not sure of what kind of dancing to do, she just attempted to mimic Taji's moves.

Moving was easy for Taji, her hips and arms moving to the beats as she watched Mara, her head tilting slightly. This setting sure fit the girl, which was odd since she had never been to a rave before.

Mara moved her hips and arms as well, at first trying to match Taji, but eventually adding her own improvised moves as well. Closing her eyes, she focused on the music, and found herself moving closer to Taji.

Taji didn't mind the closeness, and moved forward to close even more space between the two of them. She watched the girl dance, but soon enough, her own eyes fell shut as she focused on all that was going on around her.

The hypnotic beats and pulsing light quickly drove Mara into a trance and she found herself moving without much thought...

Taji continued to dance until she started feeling a bit dizzy. "Hey, Mara. I'm going to go take a break," she called over the music, pushing her way through the crowd and to the bar.
