Appearance: Zack's eyes are a piercing deep blue, which is probably one of the first features many find striking about him. His skin tone lacks sunlight yet he is not pale enough to be described as 'white as a ghost'. His light brown hair is cut short, but his bangs that hang over his forehead give him a more boyish look. Usually wearing simple black pants with a t-shirt, the young man gives off a more younger teen look than he might appear. He's been mistaken for seventeen and sixteen. However, if he dresses up nice, he's been also mistaken for twenty one to twenty five. This obviously gives him an advantage. His body is well toned. He's not the bursting out of his chest Hulk, but he has enough shape to make a few heads turn.
Personality: Zack is actually quite fun loving and sometimes arrogant. He likes to crack jokes and is often sarcastic. He is always trying to look out for the good of everyone, never liking to settle something with violence unless needed. While he can be reserved and suspicious of others, he is more outgoing and welcoming to many people, Only when fighting or in a serious situation does he seem to actually get to busyness and become more stoic.
History: Zack's father, Kay Yong, had come here to seek refuge. He found it with the library but sadly had to leave soon after because ot the mysterious tattoo that kept eating away. Kay had a child, Zack, with his wife and had come home to them when he couldn't find an answer. Over time, the curse got worse and his father began to change into a frightening monster. His mother told him to leave, as Zack seemed to be the target of his father's rage most of the time.
He told Zack to go seek a man named Guyy and learn how to be a respectable member of society. Never having heard his father speak of a library or any members of this 'clan' he whispered about to his mother, Zack set off as his parents wished. He wandered Gaia's world for a while, instead of actually going to the library. After he received a letter that his father had vanished, Zack felt himself compelled to go to the library as a final act of respect for his father.
As he reached Durem, the boy felt his arm burning, only to find the same tattoo that his father had had. Now, he searches for an answer, which he believe he'll be able to find with the 'clan' his father talked so highly about.
Additional Information: Like Kay, Zack has now inherited the gifts that the tattoo brings, as well as the nightmare that never ends. He carries it along with the ruby flute his father once had.
Illness/Cursed Tattoo : The ritual in which Kay was used in cause him to bear the tattoo that would torment him for years, and has now transferred to his son. Much like his father Zack walks along the bloody halls of an old traditional style house in his dreams. The woman chases him through nights of endless sleep and if he falls victim to her, she can take over his body for periods of time.
