Proffesor James Potter walked out onto the Quidditch pitch carrying his son's Firebolt. Harry had allowed his newly reaquainted father to use his prized broom to teach flying and Quidditch class. It really made James smile knowing his son trusted him enough to let him use the broom. James would never have allowed his father the use of his broom.

The students were already gathered on the pitch when he arrived. Some, he noticed were shocked and/or confused to see who their new professor was. He had expected that. He was, after all, supposed to be dead. He stood confident in front of his students.

"Okay" James said, "Today we're going to learn how to mount, and grip a broom. Many people do this wrong. The most common way to ride a broom is the one I'm going to teach you. In this technique, you have one leg on each side of your broom. When you're riding this way, you want to hold onto your broom with your thighs and grip your broom with one hand slightly above the other with your thumbs up." He demonstrated this technique. "Now you guys try it."

If you write a lot, try to write it as one post, not as many posts of single lines.)

Mysti did exactly as Professor Potter said to do, only she couldn't understand why one had to put their thumbs up...she almost accidentally kicked off because of excitement.

Midnight Was a little confused about the thumbs up thing but she tried it mounting her broom she pressed her thighs against the broom until they hurt.She put her hands on the broom with the plams under the broom and the thumbs on top.
She wanted kick off and zoom around the Qudditch pitch.
