Tizzy smiled at the room she had set up for her class. How she'd managed to set up a kitchen in her classroom was anyone's guess but the woman was very resourceful when she needed to be.
There, set up around the room, was, as previously stated, a kitchen. This would be for her first ever lesson, with a young pride-diligence spawn. Searching up information on the boy had given her a photo and a small list of information on his features. That hadn't helped much however, as he seemed to have none that he'd require training in. He could already walk on his strange feet. This left one option: Teach him something that you could teach anyone, powers or not. And the first thing that came up on a random search through her database was Cooking.

In came Bovi, who, though rather nervous, knew that first impressions were key and tried to carry himself in a calm collected manner. It would have worked too, if his hooves weren't tapping out 'i are scared' in mores code. Ok, so maybe that was an exaggeration...slightly. His hoof-clops did have an extra clip every other step due to his knees a shakin' ever so slightly.
"Bovidae Harrington reporting for class ma'am," he said, before peering around. Kitchen stuff...Interesting.

"Oh, hello there." Tizzy replied cheerily, waving to the boy. "come in come in." her tone was meant to be reassuring, seeing as she's taken in the clip clop and had been very confused as to the mixed up sound of the gait.
"Why don't you take a moment to relax before we begin?"

"Sorry Miss Tizzy..." he quickly offered, messing with his hands a bit. "I'm just....I dunno... scared I'll mess up my first class..." he said as he looked around.
"So, am I learning to cook? Or is the kitchen stuff always here?" he asked after a few moments.

"Oh no, I only put this stuff in this morning. You'll be learning to cook." she assured the boy, patting his shoulder lightly. "It is okay to be nervous. That is normal for first time pupils."

"Wow..." he mused as he walked over to the oven and rapped it with his knuckles to create a hollow metal sound. "This all looks heavy. You must be super strong..."
He looked back to his teacher. "So what am I learning to cook?" he asked with childlike enthusiasm. This could help out a lot at home with how busy Mama-Stace was getting down at the Thunder Bean. Holiday rush was affecting her work as well.

Tizzy smiled, "I'm very very strong. It's in my programming." she assured him before opening her mental cookbook. Her eyes seemed to glass over as a hologram of the book was presented to Bovi. "Go ahead and choose an item from the index."

Bovi scooted back a couple of steps in surprise when the book was presented to him. Not expecting that. He slowly inched his way up to it once more and peered at it curiously.
"How about coffee cake?" he inquired. "It's one of my mom's favorite desserts..."

"Certainly." Tizzy agreed, bringing up that image and going over to a nearby board to write it down. She chose a simple font and language so the child could read it - her printing coming out like actual text on a computer. "Here we go. This is the simplified recipe to make the coffee cake. First, we must get out our ingredients. They're listed on the recipe. Get them out and I will check them off."

Bovi stared at the board for a moment. The fact that the writing seemed perfect really didn't throw him off, though the holographic book probably was one of the reasons why. He mentally jotted down some of the ingrediants, desiding to go and grab everything in shifts. He went for the things that were not in the fridge first, flour, sugar and everything of the like, setting them down on a counter area near Miss Tizzy for her to check off before going to fetch the next thing, repeating what he was looking for over and over again as to remember, and to keep focused on the task at hand. The only time he diverted was to go and get mixing bowls and spoons and other mesuring tools, but as soon as that was done he was dragging the needed items out of the fridge, eyes darting back to the recipe every so often to make sure he was grabbing the correct items.
A montage later, Bovi placed the last item on the counter and looked at Tizzy expectantly, hoping he grabbed all the right things.

The woman nodded, checking off the last item on the list. Having learned over her time that things like praise tended to win favor with students, she smiled, "Very good Bovi." she assured him.
"Next, you need to start mixing things together." she told him, carefully writing the step by step mixing instructions.

Bovi took his time, reading every line carefully and making sure he did exactly as it instructed. For the most part everything seemed to go along fine, though he ran into trouble cracking the eggs. Shells were littered in with the gooey insides, but luckily he had been putting them in a seperate bowl in case of a bad one, so he merely picked out the bits, making sure not to remove that much of the goo with them.

Tizzy peered quizzically into the bowls, scanning them for being mixed right. Occasionally her fingers would zip out and grab a bit of shell that Bovi'd missed or point out a spot where he needed to mix more but all in all it got the seal of approval.
"All right, next step!"
