This is where mutants can go to practice their mutant powers with worrying about exposing themselves to humans or hurting anyone else.

Enter "The Archive"

The room was slightly a mess once Eli had completed his training, at least the phantom environment that is. Cars piles, plumes of black smoke as the result of mounds of oil being cooked into the paves and last but not least the honking sounds of street chaos. Yes, Eli stood amongst it all. His face smothered in dark pudges and his hair a little messed up. Well, his hair was always like this. Anyways, the objective of his mission was to find a way to stop a mutant. A mutant that rammed everything in its' path as a result of it's mutant ability which allowed him a constant increasing momentum. It took him approximately three hours to fail the mission. You heard correct, he failed the mission. But in order to reach one's goals, a man must be ready to face failure at some point in life. And he knew this. However the failure wasn't without it's rewards. Amongst the car pile, the large mutant lied their in the middle of the flames burning. The body revealed third degree burns and the surface of the skin was literally melted against the oil blackened pave from the intense temperatures. As he walked away from the scene of the incident, the virtual environment around him would dematerialize into a series of codes before reverting back into the plain atmosphere of the Danger Room he had entered.

"Hmph, just as I had expected. It was a slight miscalculation on my physical prowess the during my last session." He thought out loud. All this while he had purposely failed this mission. He had no interest in saving the people from the incident. Not that he didn't have any compassion for the lives of others. It was because his goal was to increase his physical capability to the equivalent of his mental capability, and he worked towards this by defeating a virtual mutant who's ability was pure muscle. For many weeks he had been visiting the Danger Room. It had sort of became a mandatory thing on his schedule, of course all in between the his research and developing. It was rare that he put anything before his research, which clearly showed this was probably bugging him for a little while now. And even so. Even after this battle..Despite his size......His physical strength was slowly increasing. It wasn't by munch, but it was a step...as small as it may be..but a step towards reaching Godhood.

He believed that with superior mental strength combined with a superior physical strength would make him one of the most powerful mutants ever in history. He believed that he could create a new peace for the world. But until his both stats were equally synced in with one another, these were only beliefs. But soon he would make these beliefs a reality.

As soon as Young Eli's simulation was finished and done, another soon began. With a loud hum of generators activated the entire room faded away into code and illusion, only leaving a endless sea of white all around. In all this white, one lone figure soon walked into the room via the outside doors of the infamous danger room. There walked in equally young David Williams, or as he some times preferred Light Screen. Taking his time to take a breath and look around he slowly progressed his way into the room, giving only a simple nod of acknowledgment to Eli as he made his way across the endless white domain.

Once he was in a position that he felt was right he slowly turned his head back, looking across at Eli with his deep brown eyes. "Ya might want to take some cover over dere' I ain't gonna be held responsible if ya get hurt" Of course him saying take cover in a completely empty white room seemed somewhat moot by this point, but hey at least he was bothering to give off something aside from his usual Flip of and Run with it demeanor. Taking one final deep breath, he flexed his fingers rhythmically as what appeared to be several ballistic type launchers began popping up through out the area of the white room.

" Alright! Begin Endurance Test!" With this exclamation a ballistic gun to his direct right, no more then maybe fifteen yards away launched a metal sphere towards David's body at a break neck pace, in any normal situation, one would probably dodge this, but oh no not this boy. Standing perfectly still, he curled his right arm against his body followed by a faint light green outline wrapping itself around the right side of his upper body. In only an instant later, the sound of echoing glass rang through the empty room as the metal sphere crashed into his David's body only for the ball itself to end up falling away after the initial impact.

From there on, for however long Eli chose to stay, he would witness this process repeated time and time again, the rate of fire increasing over time as well as the number until it the shots were beginning to come from all angles. David was now beginning to move about in a small area, never moving too much, but just enough to take at least three of the balls at a time at various locations of his body. His entire body was now wrapped into a faint green outline, his body now drenched in his own sweat as he continued to push himself through this physically draining gauntlet.

Eli took his position against the wall as the next training session started. He was pretty munch exhausted after his last training session. "It's not me you should be worried about." He responded to David. This was in a sense true. If David went over the edge in this one, there was no way Eli would be able to intervene to help him because nearly all of his stamina had been depleted due to his virtual face off against the gigantic mutant from the earlier simulation. "You're scorched. It hasn't been five minutes yet and you're already soaked." He teased David. He wasn't teasing for nothing. In the earlier simulation he had learned quite a few tricks, and he was itching to test them.

For now, he would let the hours go by as David trained. There was a reason the environment looked the way it did before Eli's earlier simulation was over with. A valid explanation why the cars were piled up, leaving the simulated mutant laid to waste amongst them. In his earlier years of joining the X-Men, Eli had showed good potential through the graded simulation tests. However it was the last training session that he learned something. Had he learned this the first time, he would've passed every single graded simulation with flying colors in his earlier years of joining the X-Men. But here he was about to demonstrate something to David. Something that would increase David's powers or maybe just kill him. Asking someone like David if they were up to the test would be foolish. He was from the streets and wouldn't chicken out from a challenge.

By now, Archive was well rested. Pushing himself up from the wall he would wring his arm around as if getting himself warmed up for the next event. "It's been a while Light Screen. But let's get the baby part out of the way and let's get to the real deal. It's no longer a situation if you're standing in one place while being fired at from one angle." This was true. Not that Eli was boasting. Only that in a real battle no one's gonna fire at you from one set angle, especially against a barrier type mutant. Eventually from the first unsuccessful shots their next step will be to search for kinks in his armor. Most likely something along the lines of the enemy switching positions and following up with a change in their gun's rate in fire towards that one area. "So, are you going to stand there playing piƱata or are we gonna start this thing......."

All during the time that Eli, or Archive as some would call him, rested himself from his previous danger room exercise, David continued his own. Again and again he took numerous blows across his body, no shot ever coming in at any certified pattern. There was a total of eight guns, each shifting their angle of fire, the rate, and speed in which they are released. From here to there, he continued his movement, always never allowing no more then three shots to make contact with his body. Each of the the three shots would be fired from random angles as well as from random projectile guns. At some points, if one were to care to look close enough, Davids eye's would glaze over, as if his body alone was working on just basic muscle memory, flexing and reacting according to his current situation. His own full bodied barrier also seemed to be affected by these moments, for each time his mind seems to switch out of the conscience realm, his barrier would fade for ever a slight moment before returning to the land of reality.

It would not be until young Eli finally spoke out the first that David's body would come to a halt, causing his 'armored' body to be pelted from all angles by the various guns. It was in this grand climax of power and steel that the simulation ended, apparently the trigger being David getting hit with more then a set amount of steel orbs. "Your timing sucks a** Archive..." With a mighty one fingered salute, David fell back onto his posterior followed with many a labored breath. "You...*wheeze*..know.." Seeming too tired to complete his sentence he merely followed up with two one fingered salutes to complete his failed attempt at a witty insult. In all this heavy breathing, and even more sweating, David slowly managed to peel off his soaked sweater revealing the the accumulated damage he took during his endurance challenge. All across his upper form, his body gave the appearance of going at least two full rounds with Tyson back in his prime. Only by about that point, when he felt he had recovered enough breath could David finally muster up something that only he could probably say. "Pinata's have it easy..they their attackers are blind and puntable."

Once David had gained his composure, Archive would make it towards the middle of the room. Waving one hand, the mouths of the each gun in the room would seize fire as Eli's powers forced the mechanisms that controlled them into submission. Positioning himself in the middle of the room, he would began wavering both arms around, causing the guns to retract back into the crevices of the floor. His fingers moved fluidly as if he were physically attempting to grab and rearrange the very programs that dictated each function of the Danger Room. Once all obstacles were removed the floor, the room would be left to it's original barren white space. "Let's turn things up a notch." He said clutching his right hand into a fist.

Soon the room filled with endless code and fluctuating color that came together to form what looked like a tropical forest, filled with simulated inhabitants that occupied various ends of the canopy. The lush greenery extended for a few hundred miles and by the warm feel of the atmosphere and sounds of crashing waves, it was no doubt that this was a simulated version of some tropical forested island. "This is just the beginning, so strap up and enjoy the ride." A large drop of sweat dripped down the side of his forehead. He was going further than he had actually intended, but it wasn't anything couldn't handle. Pointing towards Light Screen, a great mass of code would materialize into a lone figure behind Light Screen. All of this happened consecutively without anyone actually being in the Control Room. Archive had actually managed to neurotically open a direct connection to the Control Room's very interface, and was now forcing each program in the Danger Room to succumb to his own will.

"When you think about it, life is nothing more than a video game. Set the right cheat codes, and before you know it's checkmate." He said as the materialized figure approached Light Screen from behind. His design was that of a man. He was quite slender, and he had a long drooping angular face with a sharp chin. Another figure would materialize alongside of Archive this time, however in size this one was quite the opposite from the slender simulated mutant. He was buff and extremely large in size. Ranging about 6'7 in size. Lastly a third mutant would appear and he was actually quite the most normal of the two. He had a a moreover solid built, and a cocky expression present before his face. "Well now, let's get right to it shall we kid?" The athletic one smirked.

Without hesitation the slim mutant would send forth of ball of psychic force strong enough to cave a small hole into the bark of one of the nearby trees. The others remained their positions alongside Archive for the moment. The larger one seemed impatient, as he would snarl and growl at Light Screen with a hint of killing intent bestowed within his eyes. Yes, that's right 'bestowed'. After all they were only designed to hold these characteristics as well as the abilities that came with them.

The door to the training area of the danger room opened and a boy with very dark red hair walked into training area. As he walked in he seen that two boys around his age squaring off in a training battle. The boy didn't even think twice about what he was going to do next. The reason he didn't think about his next move was because like all doors this one made noise and would alert the two boys that they had company. So in that instant the boy reached out with both hand and eletricty zipped from all ten of his fingers. Each bolt of lightning that shot towards the other two boys were going at different speeds and in different directions. These bolts of lightning seemed to be controlled by the user. The only bad thing is that he was only able to attack them with his fingers or so they thought.

"By all means people why would you start training alone. Shouldn't we all be down here training to fight the brotherhood."

As the boy said that he smiled and continued his assault. Yet at the end of the lightning bolts the boy had his hands to the side as each of the bolts continue to travel there distance to the other boys.

Hikaru entered the Danger Room, well... the training section of it. Hikaru walked near the boy who had attacked and said "I'd advise you to stop that now...", before he walked over to one of the far sides, away from any of the three boys. Hikaru smirked as he slammed his hand onto the floor of the training grounds and then a runic circle burst out from his hand to cover most of the room, and the runic circle appeared under Archive and Light Screen, and then a wall of non-conductive glass formed along the edges of the runic circle. Just in time as well, as the glass barrier blocked both lightning bolts. The glass barrier had formed extremely quickly, and then when it had blocked the attack, it dispersed into particles of energy that then headed towards Hikaru and then they started to form into a small glass orb in his hand.

Hikaru was probably unknown to the three boys, despite having resided at the Institute for a while, and there were rumours amongst the rest of the X-men that Hikaru was neither truly a human or a mutant, and that he got his powers from a totally different gene than the X-gene. Hikaru's snow white hair was smooth the whole time and the whole time, Hikaru had a uninterested expression on his face. /You feeling better, brother?/ Sora said in his mind, and then Hikaru replied with /Yeah. Sorry for keeping Masato's existence from you and Seishi-kun.../. /It's okay, Hikaru-kun/ Sora replied, cheerfulness in his thought.

Hikaru waited for either of the three to do something, while he carefully Reality Hacked the glass orb in his hand to allow him to give the others a surprise in case they attacked him.

Like most people who jump into training battles the boy named Hikaru didn't know what was going on and didn't actually account for the other eight bolts of lightning that were still in the area. Yes, he stopped two bolts but, there was still eights bolts of lightning in the area. As Zuku noticed the dudes attack he snapped his fingers on both hands and the other eight bolts of lightning started darting towards Hikaru. Yet this bolts of lightning weren't all going in the same directions. Each took another direction from the next as if they were being controlled from Zuku's mind. Even if Hikaru was able block these attacks it wouldn't help him much since making a shield at the last moment wouldn't work against how fast the lightning was coming towards him. If you would really look at the lightning bolts they seemed to tear through the floor of the danger room as they headed towards Hikaru. While some would travel through the air. Then he would find that some of them also traveled in a wide range coming at his sides. Zuku didn't care since most of the time he liked to play with his prey before he finished them off.

"You shouldn't have dont that Son. You only put yourself in the position to get hurt."

As Zuku said that in his eyes you could see steelblue lightning bolts striking down in his eyes. With this Zuku just smiled as lightning started to cover both of his arms from his finger tips going all the way up to his shoulders. As this happened it seem to be that this was something like an armor on his arms that he could make happen with his mutant powers. As Zuku watched the other lightning bolts head towards Hikaru, his movements on the ground seemed to place him standing in one spot yet he had already started moving to the right. The lightning on his arms seemed to leave a image of lightning behind that disappeared after about 2 seconds. As Zuku ran towards Hikaru all he did was smile since now he had a new prey that he could play with.

It seemed as though both Zuku and this newcomer had failed to fully analyze their surroundings upon entering the Danger Room. Every factor had to be taken into consideration before stepping in the circle with the likes of the Archive. The moment the remaining bolts of lightning were sent his way, they would be pleasantly greeted by a solid wall of psychokinetic force that surrounded Archive. It was indirectly created through the simulated slender mutant that had been standing not far from Light Screen. "Hm, I could tell you that the Brotherhood is the last thing on my mind. But I would be lying for the simple fact that I haven't even given them a thought."

Archive said before pointing directly towards Zuku. At that very gesture the slender man would glide across the floor approximately ten feet away from where Zuku was running. Immediately the slender man would mentally focus his powers towards the lightning mutant, causing a dome shaped telekinetic barrier to fold upward from the ground around Zuku's body, trapping him inside before he could continue anything. Before anything could continue, the doors of the Danger Room would be sealed and programmed shut. Archive had already neurotically hacked the central computer and took care of that problem a long time ago, forcing newcomer who Zuku pursued to fight his way out of the Danger Room.

Apparently this kid thought he could tangle with the likes of this trio and walk out completely unscathed with putting up a fight. If that was the case, he was in for a rude awakening. "Apparently you mistaken the Danger Room with the playground kid, you don't just throw a shot in and walk in and walk out." Archive said to Hikaru, who seemed to be completely foreign to the rules of the game. Meanwhile as the barrier closed in on Zuku, the other two simulated mutants wouldn't be too far behind as they slowly approached the two. The larger one constantly slamming his knuckles into each other in anticipation to see what Zuku and Hikaru had to offer.

((Okay.. for Hikaru this is going to be outside the timeline for a bit because he is technically somewhere else... curse you laws of time and space...))
Hikaru smirked, as he held Xth Blaze in his hand. Hikaru rapidly turned around, firing a burst of plasma from it at each of the three real mutants. He then jumped into the air to dodge the lightning bolts. Hikaru threw the orb at the ground, which would detonate on contact with anything. The detonation of the seemingly normal glass orb would take the form of a burst of blinding light and several jets of blue flames. /Hikaru... you just had to show off.../ Sora reprimanded him. /Brother, quiet... please?/ Hikaru replied to his brother's mental communication. Hikaru then touched the air, which he had been doing the whole time he entered, and then a runic circle formed to spread from both palms hovering in the air in front of both palms. Then the wind started to pick up, and this wind was real and not part of the simulation, the wind starting to surround Hikaru like a barrier, granting him quite a considerable defence against Shatter Bolt's lightning-based attacks.

"Gotta love Alchemy some times..." Hikaru said, his comment cryptic, and then he touched the wind again, reality hacking it so that its temperature was lowered extremely rapidly, so it would practically freeze anything it came into contact with. That part would be fairly obvious as it started to get colder in the room. Whatever Hikaru's powers were, they had something to do with the control and creation of matter and even the altering of it. And wasn't Alchemy that tired old belief that materials belonged to one of 4 primary elements of Fire, Water, Wind and Earth? And that the Alchemists believed that Lead could be turned into Gold through a process called Transmutation? It was interesting at that fact. From obvious observation, Glass would be affiliated with the Element of Earth, and so would the floor of the Danger Room, so that was most likely how Hikaru had created that barrier of non-conductive glass.

So now it was obvious that Hikaru's power had three aspects to it. Altering the properties of matter he touched. Combining different objects into a single object. And the third aspect was using attacks or defences of the 4 primary elements as long as he touched an object affiliated with that element.

As Zuku's movements came to a halt in the barrier that was placed around him by Eli. As Zuku stood there for a moment the lightning around his arms serged all over both of his arms as if he was going peel the kid Hikaru's head just for jumping into the battle. As Zuku stood in there he smiled and serged the electricity from his left arm into his right arm. As Zuku did this he pulled back with his right arm and with great force he released his right arm into the barrier. As this happened Zuku smiled as the lightning shot from his fist into the barrier. With the impact from his punch and the lightning together the part of the barrier infront of him shattered infront of him. As this happned Zuku stepped out of the barrier as it fell behind him. Yet he didn't come out unscratched. The barrier seemed to be like glass and when it shattered it feel apart like glass and he was cut by it. Then again even Eli would have did better and Zuku even knew this. Since Zuku seen him in action before it was simple Eli was only testing everyone here.

"Come on now man. Why would you put me in a barrier you know I like to fight no matter what. So why not allow me to finish him off."

As the blinding light feeled the room Zuku shut his eyes and smiled as he pushed two bolts of lighting away from his hands. As this happened Zuku then opened his eyes to find that the room had started to become colder. Yet instead of going with what was going to happen Zuku looked at Hikaru and dashed to the right side. Since the floor was starting to turn into ice he was basically ice skating on the ground. As Zuku did this he looked at Hikaru and said to him as he smiled and skated on the floor clowning like always.

"So your mutant power is to hack reality. How weak."

As Zuku said that he placed both of his hands together now that he was a great distance away from Hikaru and the others. As Zuku started pulling his hands apart from each other everyone one could see that his hands were forming several bolts of lighting that were serging from one of his hands to the other one. As this happened Zuku pulled his hands apart quickly which caused lightning to shot from the points where his hands were into all areas. Yet instead of their being an attack directed at everyone, all of the attacks were directed at Hikaru because of Zuku using his mind to control the attack. This attack was similar to several lightning bolts that strike down 3 times within a couple of seconds. As this happened Zuku allowed his lightning to shot out towards Hikaru in all directions. As this happened even if Hikaru would try to freeze them the bolts would be to hot to cool down to even keep them froze still. Yet if he makes water appear he would only cause more harm to everyone else who is in the Danger Room with them.

Archive only shielded his eyes from the light, seeming to not move from his previous location as these series of events transpired. The moment the plasma shots were fired, the 6'2 bulky mutant had slammed his body directly into the plasma causing it to splash to the ground in sprinkling blue light. He resembled the Juggernaut in many ways. A mutant able increase his momentum to no end until his body became a moving weapon. It was interesting to see that Zuku's powers were growing, judging from how he had broke through the psychic mutant's barrier. In response to the lowering temperatures, Archive would raise one hand causing the room's tropical atmosphere to be reduced to a mass of code and shifting colors.

He had been neurotically hacking the the mechanisms that controlled the very environment and atmosphere of the Danger Room. "Indeed, his power is weak. Which is why I stopped your attack to avoid killing him too soon." He responded to Zuku. Soon the endless code would come together to form an area extremely active in volcanic activity. The winds would become extremely dry and the temperature of the air would change drastically from low and chilled tone to skyrocketing temperatures. Lava was splashing in various directions from each each eruption and lakes of fire were already seeping in their direction.

The larger mutant seemed to continue his path of destruction, uplifting masses of earth towards Hikaru as he charged forth. With the skyrocketing temperatures in the area, the wind swirling around Hikaru would become completely obsolete for what it was originally intended to do. Behind Hikaru, the psychic mutant could be seen cuffing a large pool of magma into an orb shaped barrier before hurling the thing towards the young man's back. Although they possessed human traits, these simulated mutants seemed to possess no moral standards. They only seemed to react upon what Archive programmed them to do.

As these each of these chains of events transpired, the clouds above them would darken and blanket the area in a dark shade. In the center of their gathering great blotches of white would light illuminate the sky from random ends followed by the rumbling of thunder. Lightning bolts could be seen striking the ground spontaneously from different ends. To add to the scorching temperatures, the air would become further distilled and filled with a static that would cause hairs to stand on end. The perfect environment for not only the athletic built simulated mutant, but for Zuku as well.
