I'm 19 solitary, no covens around here sad traditional witchcraft (not wicca or any of those) from what I've read/learned it makes a lot more sense to me than christianity (current religion)

hmm
Two good places to start are: Pagan Fluffy Rehabilitation Center and The Sacred Grove
Those two are Guilds here on Gaia that have a lot of good info for you on all forms of witchcraft (Wicca included) and can help you much better then most in this guild probably can...no offense to those in the guild.
{The Witchcraft Thread} has some good info as well, as does the {Wicca FAQ}.
The Wicca FAQ thread has many different people that practice all different forms of witchcraft.
If you have any other questions, do PM me and I will try to help as much as I can.

I was taught that witchcraft is the magick of Wicca and other Pagan religions. You must have the faith for the spells to work. You can't pray to Jesus if you don't believe in the guy. It's just bad form, and i believe it won't work. You need to research the different pantheons and decided what type of Paganism interests you. If you have any questions, send me a message.

I may not practice Witchcraft exactly, I am more of a freelance researcher, But i do know ALOT about herbs and both their practical and magical uses. I have also done a couple of rituals, however i would still consider myself more wicca because of the herbs thing. if you want help with anything PM/add me (:

I know that it really depends what side you're on. there's the more typical white magick, which is more of an observance for the reverance of nature and using it to balance your life out. then there's the more black magick, which is usually manipulating nature for your benefit, doing that too much, using it to control people or straight up devil worship. I know because I dabbled in wicca after my parents divorced and my mom got interested. she told me and my sisters about all us girls having 'an inner witch', which could have woken up. but she started using it to control my dad and us, and it backfired big time. remember the rule stated that whatever you do to others comes back to you times three.

The Rule of Three and the Rede are nothing but advice akin to the "10 Commandments" for Christians.
You were not Wiccan, you were more then likely a Eclectic Neo-Pagan witch.
There is no white/black magic, it is all the same magic, and unless you're a fluffybunny...do not add a k to the end of magic. It's magic, not magick.
