The stallion was a bit woozy when the morning arrived. He had stayed up late while socializing into the nighttime. When it was so bright that his eyes could barely stay closed anymore, he supposed that meant he should just get up. What was even more annoying about the morning was that it was still early, so essentially he had gotten very little sleep. This sort of routine was somewhat normal for Devil since he found other night lurkers to be good company. But now the day had arrived and even if he wasn't ready for it, it was time to get ready. Or at least that was his plan of action.
"Uggggggghhhh." Always dramatic in his antics, the stallion rolled over and proceeded to make his way out of his cozy little bed of leaves. How sad that he was waking up in alone and in his own bed!
When he was finally standing he walked a few steps to a nearby stream and sighed at how sleepy his face looked. Hopefully drinking water could replenish him enough to move forward. In truth he actually felt fine but was just grumpy at his lack-of-conquest from the night before. He was usually pretty successful in any antics or goals he had set out for. One bad night could never bring any doubt or unnecessary feelings to his simple mind. Besides, the night before was hardly a challenge. He just couldn't see himself getting comfortable with such a needy and crazed mare! He was not a fan of stalkers. And she was most definitely the stalker type.
Once he started adjusting to the entire situation, he left his cozy den and made his way out of the forest. If anything he was thankful to be starting afresh again. It was a new day, and who knew what he would find. Either way, he was ready to get moving and get started.

In comparison the the stallion, Viede was having an absolutely wonderful time. She was out of the world and on her own at lat. But that didn't mean she was to be taken as a fool. In her youth, she was not unexposed to the more.. immoral aspects of the world. With a sly smile, she thought of her mother and her exquisite appearance. Her mother had made many a conquest, and would coninue on to do so, Viede was sure. From her mother's experiences and her own, she learned a thing or two about the world. It was more then enough for her- she knew how to pick her own friends and influences, enough to avoid falling into traps. But some things she knew, were meant to be learned only by her own experience. That was why she undertaken this journey.
As her thoughts wandered elsewhere, she wandered out of the forest to a nearby stream. It was a gorgeous day and a waste if she didn't make use of it. As she nibbled at the grass around her, she stepped forward to take a sip of water. But the scent of the water brought another along with it.
Now now, who would that be? Well, she just hoped it would be friendly. It would be too troublesome otherwise, and she had no desire to deal with someone of moody temperament! As she lifted her eyes up from the stream, she heard the sound of breaking leaves. The sound of approaching footsteps caught her attention and she turned to see what was coming.

What a lovely smell.
The scent of a mare was hard to miss, and the second he traced it Devil's ears perked up and his energy resumed it's normal balance. Well, thank goodness his day was starting off right! Though it would be troublesome if that stalkerish mare had found his whereabouts. From what he could tell this was an entirely new scent, something fresh and youthful to the air itself.
Before he could dwell on what could possibly be near him, he halted in his movements and stared at what his nose had so elegantly pointed out. There she was. A sight that any fool's eyes could never miss. With such serene colors and unmistakable beauty, Devil could admit he had hit the jackpot. She was gorgeous, and he wondered if she knew it herself! It had been awhile since he'd run into an angeni as well, although this one was much more refined looking then the other.
"Well good morning miss, it seems we both have thirst in common." he entered near the mare and smoothly approached where she stood. He admired her well-kept hair and noticed it's similar coloring to his. He supposed that made him just as lucky, and beautiful obviously.
"It's not everyday that I run into such a wonderful looking creature. Oh, and let my introduce myself. I am Devil." he bowed his head calmly and resumed his positioning once he was finished. "May I get the honor of knowing what you call yourself?" He'd be a fool to forget it!

What a stunning male.
His hair was like strands of pure silver, with a style that gave him a wild image. His black coat contrasted well with his crimson markings that appeared like blood. His accessories lent him a noble look that only conflicted with his chains that made him appear dangerous. Bad boys like him were definitely bad for the female species of soquili-kind. Oh, but she could certainly get to like him, she thought with an amused smile. She wouldn't mind him for a companion- his looks were definitely a gift.
As he approached her, she held her ground with a confident yet charming smile. She was tickled by his be-witching manner, but kept her composure that of elegance and grace. "I imagine the name suits you.. Devil. Your flattery is captivating as usual.." She paused to give him a sweet glance before continuing, "like the many other devils of your kind." His charming, flirtatious and overly familiar demeanor hinted at his intentions. She admired his approach, but she didn't plan on being taken so easily. She took pride in herself and her appearance most of all, and it was only right she placed a high value of herself! She was a elusive goddess to the common people, obtainable only to the elite. If he was simply like the other brutish males of his kind, he wasn't worth associating with despite his looks. But he wasn't. She admired a challenge, as much as he did.
As she contemplated the issue, the mention of his question brought a twinkle to her lavender eyes. She was strongly tempted to say angel, but lying was definite not one of her sins. But oh, how funny the reaction would be! "My name? It is.. Viede." She replied softly, as he bowed down before her. "Consider it a courtesy rather then an honor.. I am nothing so noble." She said as she nodded her head in greeting.
What a gentlemen he was.. or what he appeared to be. This will be fun, she though to herself.

Oh my! A mare with confidence? Now this would be something special. For some stallions that could potentially be a spirit-breaker, but for Devil that was hardly the case. It was more of an intriguing detail, one that he was glad to experience time and time again.
Well, it seemed he wasn't the first brutish stallion for her to run in to. He could only smile boyishly at her statement, but assume that he was the best looking encounter of them all. "Some stallion's may think they act like little devils but I assure you, only one exists." He was proud of the name his parents had given him. It was absolutely perfect, and he couldn't see any other creature having such looks and skills as he did. If only he could have known she wanted to call herself angel, when he spotted her that was the first thing he thought of. Even angels could have fun if they wanted to. Or rather, he found it their right, no judgments ever passed.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Viede." he glanced at her lightly as she admitted to not being of high and mighty blood. "You may not think you are noble but you look it. I can't deny a lady what she has, that would just make me blind." Stallions all over could take serious notes from him. But at the moment Devil wasn't doing anything unnatural- he was just responding without even thinking about it too much. Speaking out of complete enjoyment was the best way to meet someone afterall. It was also a rare occurrence for him so he had to enjoy it while it lasted.
"So what happens to bring you to this very quiet area?" he gazed around him and noticed the privacy of the sheltering trees. "Do you happened to be lost? Not that I am doubting your skills of course, but I'd imagine you enjoying more open landscapes where other mares can be jealous of you." He jokingly laughed and lightened his smile towards hers. Hell, that happened to be his own favorite past time. Seeing stallion's jaw drop was enough to keep him chuckling for any day. "Or are you just out for a nice quiet stroll?" He felt sort of honored to be interrupting her if that was the case.
