Apparently in an effort to not offend anyone in Washington DC there isn't going to be any Christmas trees at all. Just a Holliday tree. At least that was my grandpa read in an email he got. Anyone else hear about this?
Seriously this politically correct bullshit is getting ridiculous. Stores have to say Happy Hollidays, schools have to call it Winter Break, Santa has to say HAHAHA so as not to offend ladies. Now this?
What the ******** is so offensive about Christmas? Seriously this is bull s**t. Actually I'm surprised that stores like Walmart force the employees to say Happy Hollidays then still play Christmas music over the speakers. That will probably go away next year. ಠ_ಠ

Yeah, it's bullshit and it's getting worse each year. Honestly, these days Christians are starting to be hated more than Muslims. But it's not at all surprising.

ArmasTermin Yeah, it's bullshit and it's getting worse each year. Honestly, these days Christians are starting to be hated more than Muslims. But it's not at all surprising. Actually I think it's the mormons or the Jehovas Witnesses or something. Christians in general that I have seen actually like Christmas. Personally I don't care much about it, but I'm not offended by it. I'm offended by the those trying to take that away from others. Many people see it as a religious holiday. To take Christmas away from them directly violates the 1st amendment rights. Most of what I hate about Christmas are the cheesy movies on Hallmark channel, almost all commercials using the night before Christmas rhyme pattern, and those horrible Christmas carols that are butchered by the modern music industry. I especially hate the music. I love carol of the bells when it's sang by a choir, but when some dumb bimbo redneck tries to sing it like Britney Spears I just want to stab them in the face with a harpoon.

Carols irritate the hell out of me. Like you said, Carol of the Bells isn't bad... I have a version by Rockapella that's pretty damn awesome, but how many ******** times can you hear Frosty the Snowman in one day before you're forced to stab hoboes? I mean earlier that Christmas is attacked just like Christians are these days.
Anyway, most of the Christmas music I like is winter folk songs you'll never hear on the radio. And I work in a market, where Christmas music will start playing over the radio in no time now. All day, same songs, in a loop until December 25.
If that doesn't make you want to jam a squirrel into a light socket, I don't know what does.
