I remember the first time I was playing it and I thought one of the most powerful moments was when you play as Tifa and explore Cloud's mind in the lifestream and it's been revealed that he's been telling all those lies. I also loved the escape from Shinra at Junon (it's been awhile, so I don't remember the name of that city with the large cannon) when you're playing as Tifa and everyone else. There are so many amazing, intense moments in that game. I love it so...

Oh that reminds me of the bike escape bit then the boss battle, that was cool.
It was one of the games with my Playstation when I brought it. The first one I played infact, that and Super Puzzle Fighter Two Turbo.
The opening was amazing and the fact that you go right into the action, it was also the first RPG I had ever played and it sounds sad but I think it got me into gaming even more. The only other game memories before that were Super Mario Bros., Excite Bike ad Metal Gear on the NES and some others on my old Atari 7800.

Definitely during the first boss battle with Sephiroth. Breathtaking.

I'd have to say it's because of the character development. Each one has their own personality which never falters throughout the gameplay.
