I think Meg's original name was Thunderbolt. I didn't know Elita's original name. I do now.

"Pax" - Latin for Peace
The Hunter's Peace is what Orion Pax is.
Interesting comparison;
Greek Myth Involving Orion -
"Artemis suddenly realized that Apollo had tricked her into killing her friend Orion. She called Asclepius, the god of medicine, but even he could not revive Orion. Artemis lifted Orion's body and put him into the stars."
Search for Alpha Trion -
This reminds me of the episode where Starscream tricks Elita One into being bait but she saves Optimus from imminent destruction last minute by using her power (the flash of lights and stars).
