Hello there, at the time of this post not much has been set up yet. So how about we get some introductions going at least so it's not completely dead while the Guild is still being set up. So hey, tell a thing about yourself and why you're here, or anything at all flat out. Just say hello even. Here goes for myself:
Hello there everyone, as you can see I'm your Captain/Leader of Invisible Children, but honestly doesn't really mean that much. All it means is I'm setting up the Guild, everyone that joins and contributes to Invisible Children is just as great as me. Because a Guild is made up by it's members and it's personality comes from them as well. Your donations and contributions toward the organization Invisible Children itself are huge and make you bigger than you even know. Well anyway, now that we have that out of the way. I'm Jeffrey, call me Jeff for short if you want. Or Snake for short as opposed to Snakesta. I'm friendly and tend to throw jokes out or try to make people laugh pretty often. So if you're looking for a friend I'd definitely fit it. I'm very helpful as well, plan on getting into psychology when the day comes. Uh... lets see, why I'm here. I've known about Invisible Children for a long time but never really interacted with it. As of recently they visited my school and I figured I'd give it a shot. I signed up for the Joseph Kony arrest if anyone has any idea about it. I'm also going to probably email a Congressmen of my area to sponsor it. My school even has a club which I'm considering joining. I've never been one for clubs but I might join it. For a good cause so why not? Another thing, I came across the Invisible Children topic on here after looking around Gaia figuring what the hell, lets see what I find. Came across that and with a donation of 13,000 gold from ilkecx I was able to afford this Guild. Then I made it and have been working on it as of a few days ago now. Lets see where it goes. That's my story pretty much. If you want to learn more about who I am, talk to me.

Hello ^.^ My name is Shannon, or wolf, or wolfie, or blaze, whatever floats your boat really. I first heard about Invisible Children in my environmental science class my senior year. That was a little over a year ago. I have Sunday's bracelet, Emmy's bracelet, and Innocent's bracelet. I also gave them as Christmas presents to everyone I could think of >.< (So, if you don't know what to give someone as a Christmas present this year, I strongly encourage it) About me personally, I am currently pursuing a master's degree in marine biology and a master's degree in genetics. My first semester of college is almost finished. I like lots of things and I dislike a few things. I am not going to list it all out at the moment since my post is beginning to get long, but if you want to talk, feel free to drop me a PM.

Hello, I'm Tara, and one of the elusive and slightly wacky elderly Gaians you hear about lurking in the community now and then.
I first heard about Invisible Children on a news program, but at the time, I wasn't paying much attention to the show because of wackiness in the house, which is normal around here. Then I stumbled into one of the threads about the topic and remembered, "Oh yeah, I wanted to know more about this!" From there, I became determined to learn as much as possible.
You hear the phrase, "Children are the future," so often, but after working for Head Start and seeing how abuse, fear and constant worry impact a child, I began to wonder what sort of future those children would have. These days I do some volunteer work for Head Start, and I'll continue to do so, but I wanted to do something for kids in need elsewhere, too, and no child should ever have to live in fear while hiding out to avoid being kidnapped. I believe these kids in Uganda are amazing, brave, determined and filled with hope despite their circumstances, and they've shared their hope, something for which I'm grateful, and if I can give a little back to them I'll do so any way possible.

Introduction time. It's the middle of the night (literally), so I'll keep it short.
Hi! I stumbled across the thread in Gaia International and due to me having a huge interest in making the world a better place (/and specialising on public international law/international humanitarian law/human rights) I decided to join this guild. Here's hoping that this guild might become as big as some other guilds are on here, that are dealing with problems our society (or rather: societies) have these days.
I only recently really became aware of the term "Invisible Children", by reading a news article about the situation in Uganda. I didn't even know that there was actually an organisation called like that. So, there I have some extra reading for the next few days. __________ Need I translate?

Welcome though. And as to needing anything translated if that was what you're asking. I noticed you know some French, German very well, and English greatly. I think we'll be good but there's always a time when it can come in handy. Although any idea how to say Invisible Children in German and French? Could throw it up on the front page.
