As Jospeh extended his hand O'Harris reached his out as well and gripped it, shaking it firmly. He listened to what the Private had to say with great interest, and it was apparent that he cared about what he had to say. Once complete, the Sergeant chuckled a little once more and reinforced, "Well if ye need any help wit' that, I'm sure one of t'e boys would be willin' to help ye whilst on leave to London or an' other place." He kept his smile up and remained silent for a moment before switching subjects, "How'ere yer not here fer that, now are ye? Follow meh and I'll take ye to the course."

The obstacle course is two kilometers long overall, and shaped in a rough oval shape through a mostly wooded area. Spaced roughly two hundred meters apart along the path are the obstacles, with scarcely a path running between them. It looks as though the course isn’t used nearly enough to warrant well trodden dirt where others have stomped before. All of the obstructions are in sets of four, as though they were designed for four people to go at once, or rather for four groups to go at once. However, for this only one person will be going through them, and with only one grader.
The first obstacle is a series of logs held in the air, the first at a half meter, the second at a meter, and the third at a meter and a half. The second is a ‘Z’ shaped wooden bar, held roughly a foot off the ground. The third is a concrete culvert only a meter and a half wide. The fourth is a shallow dug out area with barbed wire overhead. The fifth is a trench two meters wide but only a meter and a half deep. The sixth is a rope five meters long stretched over a muddy puddle. The seventh is another culvert, the same size as the previous one. The eighth is a net vertically held four meters in the air with a small platform on top and another net on the other side. The ninth series of three walls with windows varying in size and height. The tenth and final obstacle is a two meter tall wall built into the side of a hill, that at the top of the wall is ground again.
Sergeant O'Harris didn't explain what any of it was like at all. He didn't even say how long it was. He simply brought Imm to the start of the course and said, "I'll be runnin' along side ye an' keepin' yer time. As soon as yer ready, let me know."
