toadies_soarys Tanti sees something flitting about in the distance Nyx Queen of Darkness Javasat down tinkering with a small clock between his hooves. Looking up, he was surprised to see another of his kind jumping after butterflies. ((assuming it was butterflies hehe)) toadies_soarys Tanti Flitted over to Java, setting down softly and danitly next to him "Hai! whut you doin?" Nyx Queen of Darkness Java quickly looked back down at his work. Then realizing it would be rude to ignore the girl, he spoke. "I'm..uh..Fixing things." He worked for another moment or two on the clock then closed the back of it suddenly. "I'm Java." toadies_soarys Tanti looked at Java curiously again... "you FIX things? how do you know if they are broken?" she giggled softly... "i'm Tanti" Nyx Queen of Darkness Java nodded his head. "Nice to meet you." He tilted his head to look at her for a moment. "I know when things are broken and I fix them. Don't you know when things are broken?" toadies_soarys Tanti looked at Java strangly... "i wouldn't know THAT was broken... what is it anyway?" Nyx Queen of Darkness Java handed her the clock. "It was slow by a second. I could hear it's imperfection." He looked at her with steady eyes. "You're not broken." **** Nyx Queen of Darkness Java flew over to see Tanti again. She fascinated him. She was so very interesting, so perfect... The_Toadies_gal Tanti sat balanced on the rose petal daintily. She was enjoying the scent when she noticed Java floating down to her... she smiled softly at him... then turned her head away slightly... shyly Nyx Queen of Darkness Java smiled at the faint smile that Tanti gave him. He was not someone that typically smiled, but she...she seemed to heal the broken pieces inside himself--the ones he had never figured out how to fix. Sitting down beside her, he tilted his head to study her with his curious eyes. "Hello." The_Toadies_gal Tanti giggled softly... "hello yourself Java... are you following me" she swished her tail... "because if you are ... you shouldn't and if you arn't... well why not... " she liked to mess with others heads in this manner. She was fond of Java... his tinkering excited her... she wanted to know how he did what he did... Nyx Queen of Darkness Java tilted his head to look at her better. "So you want me to follow you and not follow you?" She was truly confusing, but in an interesting way. For some reason, he wanted to know everything he could about her. He offered, "I came to visit you." The_Toadies_gal Tanti was taken aback ... to visit HER? Most boys did not come to "visit" "welll... yes... i mean ... no .... i mean grrrrr.. " her face flushed with frustration... she calmed herself then asked "why? what interest to you have in me?" Nyx Queen of Darkness Java frowned a little. "Why not? You're interesting." He didn't understand why someone would not visit someone like her. The_Toadies_gal Java perplexed her and she cocked her head slightly as he spoke... "ah ok... whatever then..... What new trinkets are you fixing.... " she got a gleam in her eye as she asked...

Nyx Queen of Darkness Java looked at her for a moment longer, then removing something from his pack he showed her. "It's a music box. But the music has long died from it. It's a most troublesome piece. I've worked on it for ages." His brow furrowed with concentration. The_Toadies_gal Tanti giggled ... "MUSIC?!" she exclaimed... "music is my thing.... how does it make music... or rather... how did it make music... " she leaned her head near his... letting her main fall softly and brush his face... Nyx Queen of Darkness Java breathed the soft scent of her hair in as she spoke, slightly distracted as it brushed his cheek. "Gears...recordings, little wires and mechanisms. The problem is that it's damaged, the actual music. But I think with a little time...Yes, it should work." He looked up at her for a moment. "What kind of music do you like?" The_Toadies_gal Tanti giggled softly... "i like all music... anything that excites someones heart to dance" she flicked her tail... "don't you like music?" Nyx Queen of Darkness Java thought for a few seconds. "I like music, but the most beautiful music is the sound of someone's voice that you've been longing to hear." The_Toadies_gal Tanti giggled "oh and who's voice was that?" she asked flirtatiously...
also hoping that he didn't have some one in particular... "you sound like your a romantic type of guy... that is unusual in this day and age..." she sighed almost hopelessly...
there was no way a boy like that could possibly exist. "can you make the music work again?" she nudged the box with her hoof... "or could you make a new music thingy?" she blushed a little "i could sing for it... or hum... or what ever it is you do to make it make noise?" Nyx Queen of Darkness Focusing on the box, he spoke. "There are only a few voices like that....Yours is one of them," he stated it simply. Turning the box over and over in his hands, he looked at it. "I might have to replace some gears. If I do, and you'll sing I can do something quite special with this." The_Toadies_gal Tanti blushed "how would you know? have you heard me sing?" she blushed not remembering if she had been humming or not when he arrived the first time...
"i am flattered you wish to use me... " this also made her nervous... what if she messed up? what if she sang a song he didn't like... Nyx Queen of Darkness Java shook his head gently, while he opened the box gently. "No. Never. But your voice is so lovely, how could I not want it forever encased for all to hear?" The_Toadies_gal Tanti blushed.... and did not know what else to say... she sat for a moment...
"tell me about you? everything about you" Nyx Queen of Darkness Closing his eyes a moment, he responded. "There's really nothing to tell. My life is...uninteresting to the utmost degree." His next words fell softly, "Until now." The_Toadies_gal "let me be the judge of that... " she spoke in ernest... she liked him... but... if he did not wish to talk about himself... well... that made her a bit ... suspicious... she didn't think she could ever truely LOVE some one she didn't know .... Nyx Queen of Darkness Java sighed. "Well...I was abandoned as a child. I quickly learned to take care of myself though it was hard at first. But then, I discovered that I could fix things. They almost seem to tell me what exactly was broken with them. And I lived like that for awhile, until one day I was flying and a strong gust of wind blew my off course and right into Nite Owl. That's how I joined their herd." His large, clear eyes looked up at her, "What about you?" The_Toadies_gal her eyes widened at hearing him abandoned " we are very different you and i.. my parents raised me to be both musical and graceful... with dancing and such...my mother lead a very strict and structured lifestyle.. when i was an adult... she still wanted to rule my life... so i had a fight and... i left.. papa wasn't around much.. he worked alot... so i reallly can't say much about him... but mother... oh mother was a different story all together... " she trailed off Nyx Queen of Darkness "We have both had such unkind pasts, but our futures look bright. Mine especially since you came into it." The_Toadies_gal Tanti giggled "Java?" she asked coyly "are you trying to flirt with me?" she thought he was way to cute... she liked him alot... and hoped that perhaps there was a future for them... she giggled at the thought of little clockwork babies... playing with a clock work dog... Nyx Queen of Darkness Java frowned. "I'm not accomplishing it? Let me make my intentions clear. I'm smitten by you."

The_Toadies_gal Tanti suddenly looked up at Java... "What? why? you don't even know me.. we just met... how could you be..... " her words sputtered and died in her throat... "you said you like things that are broken... but... i'm not broken.. least.. i don't think i'm broken.... am i broken?" her voice retained an edge of panic... she had never had anyone so forward with her... and it almost frightened her....."Java... i... " her voice trailed off softly Nyx Queen of Darkness He tilted his head in a worried fashion. "You're not broken. You're one of the few I've known who aren't. I care for you, can you...care for me?" The_Toadies_gal Tanti looked at him seriously... "i am not sure... if we took the time to know each other i am sure i could... " she knew she liked him... but she didn't wish to rush into something she might regret...
she was smart enough to not have her heart broken twice.
"do you think you can wait a bit longer?" she asked softly... hoping she didn't sound 'smart' she didn't want him to think she was biting his head off... just hoping he would wait for her Nyx Queen of Darkness Java nodded. "I've waited so long, a bit longer won't hurt." He smiled at her. The_Toadies_gal "your very... exact arn't you?" she looked at him ... " tell me about your dreams Java... what do you want to do with life? where do you see yourself in the future?" she liked hearing others plans in life... what sights they wanted to see and so forth... Tanti laid down... and waited Java's response Nyx Queen of Darkness "Dreams?" Java looked confused. "I rarely dream. I don't imagine things very well either." He paused, "But as for that, I see myself with you. It's how things could work." The_Toadies_gal "Oh you muuuust have some dreams... like where you want to go? Anywhere you want to see? Things you want to do? It can't just be to be with me? what if i wanted to kill myself... would you do it to? Tanti was slightly exasperated... how horrible could his child hood have been that he doesn't even DREAM .... OOC: It's Dharma and Greg LOL! Nyx Queen of Darkness Tanti was confusing him. "I do dream, but they're nothing worth remembering. Now what I would like is to have a nice shop and several kids with you." The_Toadies_gal Tanti blushed "well i hate to break it to ya stud... but that isn't gonna happen in your present state... Tell me what kind of shop do you want... " Tanti did not like the way this pony made her seem so ... easy... just cause he made it plain that he desired her... did not mean he was going to get her... "Don't you know the art of Woo-ing a girl" she said aloud... then decided to back her play "ya know... dates... talking... should i try to paint more of a picture?" Nyx Queen of Darkness Java tilted his head. "I'm sorry, have I offended you? It's...I don't know much about this. I was always told I didn't have much of an imagination." He sighed heavily, "Wooing?" There was more to this than he thought. He thought you just told someone how you feel then they decide how they feel, all simple and neat. "I want a repair shop and a family. I want to fix things." His eyes widened a bit, "Oh dear...I think I've broken whatever could happen between us." His eyebrows furrowed, "How do I fix it?" The_Toadies_gal Tanti laughed "we arn't broken silly!" she pondered how to phrase it mechanically for him... "can you fix something JUST by looking at it?" she smiled at him "no... you have to tinker with it a little right? move parts and stuff... till you get to what's wrong... and then... you have to make SURE it's the right part... or else the thingy is going to remain broken right?" she hoped this was the right way to tell him " each and every pony's heart is a little bit broken... till they find another pony that is the right part... and then they fix eachother... I just want to make sure that i am the right part for you... and that you are the right part for me... or else we might break each other worse!"
she pranced around him and then touched her nose to his... "as for your imagination... every one of us has one... it's just weather we were ever allowed to exercise it or not... It seems you have not... and that ... I can fix... "
she hoped this showed him that she did care for him... but that ... sometimes you cannot just rush into everything... Nyx Queen of Darkness He tilted his head. She was so spritely and beautiful. "But I don't know how...You'll have to teach me." He frowned as he considered what she said mechanically, "But I can tell what part I need for most things just by looking at it." The_Toadies_gal "MOST things" she emphasized... "but not all ... sometimes a part might look like it's the right one... but it isn't "
she stepped back...
"you want to use your imagination? ok ... close your eyes... " she looked at him.. then closed hers slowly " imagine you are in the woods... all around you are the sounds of nature... " she giggled a little " tell me what do you hear?" Nyx Queen of Darkness He nodded, "That's true." Shutting his eyes, he listened to her instructions. He knew this answer immediately, "Nature, of course." The_Toadies_gal Tanti snorts and laughs... "no silly get specific... 'Nature' is not an answer... what type of nature?"
Why did i have to like this one she thought to herself... because i like the challange was the only answer she could come up with..... Nyx Queen of Darkness Java cracked in eyelid, "But it is nature. It sounds all naturey," he grumbled. She was being difficult, he had no idea what she was talking about. After all, he did hear nature.

The_Toadies_gal Tanti sighed... why was he being so difficult... "ok Java listen... I hear birds... calling to eachother in the distance... " she thought for a moment... " i can feel the grass grow under my hooves.... now try again... discribe what you hear... what you see... what you feel in the woods?"
Men she thought to herself... NO... Java's she chuckled Nyx Queen of Darkness He looked at her quite seriously, "Then why did you say nature? Of course I hear birds, wind, and I can see trees. I can feel the grass too." Women were so confusing. The_Toadies_gal "THAT java is imagination" she smiled and opened her eyes...
he looked really cute with his eyes closed and she couldn't resist... she kissed him.... quickly... then backed away... Nyx Queen of Darkness Frowning a little, "No that's real." When she kissed him, he sighed rather loudly then grinned almost idiotically. "That was real..." He murmured kind of dazed. The_Toadies_gal "Java... have you ever sat in the shop... and just THOUGHT about being some where else?" she laughed... he was being very silly ... "have you ever heard birds when none were out?"
Nyx Queen of Darkness Java shook his head. "Of course not. I don't hear birds when there are none. I do think of other places though..." The_Toadies_gal Tanti laid down... "tell me where you you think of... "she looked at him softly... "where would you like to travel?" Nyx Queen of Darkness "Germany of course. They have such wonderful clocks." He sighed, he was going to have to change. "You?" He stretched out beside her rather stiffly. The_Toadies_gal Tanti Snorted " I should have known" she pondered for a moment... " England... they have a BIIIG clock ya know... " she thought some more then spoke softly "or the countryside... where its very quiet... " Nyx Queen of Darkness He nodded as he closed his eyes. "Big Ben would be nice to see." He remained quiet for a moment, "The countryside is nice. Farms are great. You can always fix things there." The_Toadies_gal "do you think of anything else other then tinkering?" she sighed softly "like... kids? what about kids? do you have names picked out if you have kids?"
she did... but she didn't want to say anything... for fear of getting laughed at...
"what else do you do besides tinker?" Nyx Queen of Darkness "Not much. I really like that show Heroes though." He smiled. "Of course kids. But I can't name them, I don't know them yet." He turned to look at her, "You?" The_Toadies_gal "heros? what is that? I don't watch tv.. usually i am out walking... or knitting... or Singing... that's what i like the best... " she smiled at his kids answer and decided maybe he was a touch uncomfortable..... "how is the music box going... ?" Nyx Queen of Darkness Java sat up rather suddenly, a frown on his face. "Wait...don't you want kids?" The_Toadies_gal Tanti looked up sharply "Did i say that? I mean... i want kids eventually ... but... i mean the whole getting fat thing... i mean wow... would a guy still love me if i got huge with kids?" she tried not to smile... though she could feel it creeping up on her...

Nyx Queen of Darkness "Who coudlnt' love you, however you look? I could and I could love you even more." His face was serious and his eyes met hers. The_Toadies_gal Tanti blushed " you think you could.. are you sure?" she pondered a little longer... " do you feel ... fixed?" Nyx Queen of Darkness "With you, I do." He smiled at the look on her face. "Only with you." The_Toadies_gal " i don't know if i am ... how do you tell?" she was serious... she leaned over and started playing with a flower.. "how do you tell if another is the right part for you?"
Nyx Queen of Darkness Java sighed. "I know I don't have much of an imagination, but with you I have some. I don't feel lonely, or lost. I feel happier than I've ever felt before. It's like...I thought I was okay before but now I know." The_Toadies_gal Tanti stopped toying with the daisy and ate it... " wesh..." she stopped and swallowed "excuse me... well ... i mean... could you see us FORever? i mean that's a really long time... especially if you don't have an imagination... " she giggle to her self... "i mean... where do you see us?" Nyx Queen of Darkness Java picked a flower and held it. "I know just as sure as this is a flower that we were meant to be. It's not imagination, it's fate. It's perfect. Just like these petals were designed to fit this flower, it's how we were made for each other." The_Toadies_gal Tanti snapped the flower up and ate it too "that's just great Java... but WHERE DO YOU SEE US?" she wanted to hear him say it... to hear him try to use his imagination a little... "it's not a complicated question... and together isn't going to work to well... Try Java... please for me... " she pleaded... Nyx Queen of Darkness Java was bewildered. "I see us on a farm....with kids. Bunches of them. And lots of clocks. And one day we'll go to...to" He searched wildly, "to Broadway for musicals. Because..." He gulped. "I love you." The_Toadies_gal Tanti busted out laughing... she collapsed on the ground... heaving for breath... "OHHHH Java... that's Fantastic! that's what i wanted... "she gasped in between fits... when she finally collected herself all the way she got up and kissed him on the cheek "that my love... is your imagination... i'm sorry if i hurt your feelings... " Nyx Queen of Darkness "It's not nice to torture me." When she kissed him a dazed look overcame his face. "That's nice.." The_Toadies_gal "i'm sorry java... " she kissed his mouth.. softly... " sometimes you have to push hard for someone to use something they never knew they had ... I would like to have a million babies with you... as long as i don't have to hurt you like that again for your imagination... I don't know how you went so long with out it... " she snuggled up next to me... "do you forgive me?" Nyx Queen of Darkness He kissed her gently, not believing how lucky he was. "There's nothing to be forgiven, nothing's broken." The_Toadies_gal thank you for reading the beginning of Tanti and Java
