ok, this is my campaign, it is like, my first experience at dming so will probaly turn out crap, but hey! the race options are darfellan, aventi, hadozee and aquatic elf, or anything else aquatic. plez keep level adjustments low, up to +2 if ye want that. any base class, and the prestige classes open are: knight of the pearl, scarlet corsair, legendary captain, leviathan hunter, sea witch, stormcaster, wavekeeper and dread pirate. (not sure about the alighnment of dread pirates: if they are sposed to be evil dont worry about it) do your starting characcters on sylnae, post them here, use the elite array or roll dice in the dice rolling thread, either is good. i'll be dming and playing, and ill start when more people come.

ok, when more people get involved, this is the first scene, if you will. You are at the southernmost edge of the lake of sorrows, on the continent of medevia. to the south of you is a small village, a hamlet. it appears to be a farming and a small port village. to the east is a vast expanse of plains, to the west is rice farmland and a forest. behind you, in the water, is an underwater hamlet of aventi and darfellan. you know that inhabiting the hamlet are humans, darfellan and hadozee.

racial ability score adjustments (more information on request)
aventi: no adjustment, amphibious, speed 30 ft, swim 30 ft
darfellan: +2 str, -2 dex, hold breath (8x con) rounds, speed 20 ft, swim 40 ft
hadozee: +2 dex, -2 cha, +4 climb and balance, speed 30 ft, glide 40 ft (average) 20 ft for every 5 ft of descent only
aquatic elf: +2 dex, -2 int, water breathing only, proficient with longspear, trident, net, swim 50 ft.
as always, creatures with swim speeds have +8 bonuses on swim checks and can always take 10, even if distracted or threatened.

any classes with fast movement as a special ability can apply it to their racial swim speed( if any) rather than their land speed. also, a monk can choose to forego his slow fall to have instead water step, which means they can walk across water the amount of distance they would otherwise have slow falled. if anyone is playing a sorceror, wizard, druid or any of that other stuff, ask me for a list of familiars/animal companions.

for the base races, you can choose to be one of the aquatic subraces instead.
human=aventi*
elf=aquatic elf*
dwarf=seacliff dwarf
half elf = aquatic half-elf
halfling=shoal halfling
gnome= wavecrest gnome
half-orc= no subrace
*as detailed above
any questions about any of my 3 campaigns, go to the environmental campaign enquiry/ooc thread.

as nobody is posting anything, i may aswell start
Garret surfaces from the lake and swims to the edge. He gets out and looks around, (spot checking) to see if their is anything of interest over in the direction of the hamlet. (spot checking at +4) 17+4 =21.

too right. you trip over a log and fall in the lake making a huge splash. The person notices you and runs even faster.
