(( Only those that own pups from Burakku may post and of course Anansi may post))
Bura had her pups and was now completely done nursing them. Now they were weaned and old enough to, finally, be part of the family. Well, according to Bura's standards they were good enough to be helpful.
The dark and crimson female poked her head out of the den. Her sister had been taking care of her and the pups for the most part so Bura had little reason to leave the safety of the den under her sisters care. Now the female was greeted with the brightness of the out side and had to squint some. Her legs were a bit like jello and she just felt hopeless as she made her way out of their small den.
The surroundings seemed safe enough.
"Come on little ones. Come see the world at last," The tall lean jackal gave them a tender smile.
Opka was the first of the five to come running out. It was an awkward sort of run with his stubby short legs. But he didnt seem to mind as he ran and barked happily. The little guy weaved about his mothers thin legs like a mad dog.
"Its safe its safe~" He sung and Bura frowned. Such a short boy this one.

Ank was right behind them, yipping wildly in an attempt to wrestle her mother's attention away from her siblings. In her short time on the planet she hadn't had time to learn just how unjustly fair mothers could be.
Not being able to catch the attention of the older jackal she turned again and started nipping at the heels of her siblings. They'd pay attention to her. They always did. She made sure they had too.
Anansi wasn't at the den. She had other worries to concern herself with. Bura hadn't been hunting at all. Because of it, she was wearing herself out. If those cubs didn't learn to leave the den soon she wasn't sure she'd make it.
That made her laugh. It was a morbid joke, really. Bura had been concerned that if Anansi had carried the litter it would kill her. The yellow jackal always figured that had been one of the reasons her sister had done it.

Koko'alapiko was the unfortunate victim of her sister's plea for attention, the sharp little kit teeth grazing her ankles as she finally made her way out of the den, for one of the first times in her life.
It took a few seconds for the kit to register her sister, the sunlight from the outside world she was unused to glaring in her eyes. Interesting how something she was so curious to meet when she saw it at the edge of the den was so strong and bright - and danced off the red pelt like shining gem.
Turning around quickly, she nipped lightly at the scruff of her sister, her little teeth weaving in and out of the fur, chirruping at her in a playful matter.

Nthanda was out soon after them, prancing around with her nose in the air. She'd already snuck out once or twice. Not far, mind you, but she'd been out of the den. Not that her mother knew that... Nthanda just knew Bura would not be pleased to find out she'd been outside. So she definitely hadn't told her.
Still prancing around, she wagged her tail and decided to pounce on her unsuspecting brother. Grinning like a madwoman, she leapt at the blue pup, colliding with him, and bring him crashing to the ground.
"I got you!"

Opka yipped in surprise as he was brought to the ground. He hadn't noticed his sister at all. For a moment he stayed there pinned and looked up at her with big saucer eyes. Then he started to squirm and kick with his back paws.
"H-hey, come on Nthanda," The pup whined.
Bura was not surprised that Anansi was not around. After all she was still the provider, but now the two could switch off now that the pups were old enough to be out of the den and didn't need her milk.
She sighed and watched the pups playing around her and smiled. Maybe hope wasn't lost.

She just grinned more, still lying on top of him and keeping him pinned. It was too funny to watch him squirm! Too too funny. She knew he was going to get all babyish soon though, so she rolled off, giggling.
"You're so silly, Opka~" she said, nipping at his ears affectionately. "You're my favourite brother!"

Opka whined a bit and pawed at his sister. He was glad she had rolled off though. The pup wagged his tail and launched him self at Nthanda licking at her face.
"I'm your only brother," He giggled.

She giggled more at that, her tail wagging so fast her little rump wiggled with it. "I know~~ But I promise! If we get more brothers you'll still be my favourite!"
Bouncing to her feet, she raced around him, yipping happily. "Unless they're super cool! Then you'll be my second or third or fourth favourite!" she teased.

Opka laughed more springing to his short little stubby legs to chase after his sister. His tail wagging even faster then it had been before.
"H-hey!" He yipped after her, " You know you love me," He had to stop and take a breath. All this out side business was still pretty new to him.
Bura watched the two pups with curious eyes. She couldn't help but be ashamed that Opka had to stop. The female shook her head.
