 Chantily had spent some time getting to know the lands surrounding the Order's Dens, she had long been a fan of knowing the land one lived in near as well as one knew the back of their paws. As such she had taken to long strolls about the surrounding area in the mornings and evenings.
It was from just such a stroll that Chantilly found herself returning this night, trotting back into the main pack area some time just after sunset, a buff colored ghost in the growing darkness. not yet ready to settle in for the night Chantily found a place in what constituted the packs commons area to sit for a while.

She had been just getting the hold on her newly forming pack. She loved that everyone was so ready to be there for each other. So ready to be something more than they already were.
She respected each of them for it. Respected them all for having defended each other, and giving the chance to defend their values.
She stood out like a sore thumb in the darkness. Her bright greens and blues almost calling her out as a star, rather than the little wolf she was.
But her eyes laid on the larger female. Of course, she was larger now due to being all grown up.
But Tera would have her time, that was for sure.
"Hello, Im sorry..I think I missed your name."
She smiled, approaching with a bounce in her step.

Chantily, her tail curled about her toes sat watching as others in the pack milled about outside the dens, it was early yet and while some had retired for the night others still went about on whatever business called out for them to complete before bed. It was a calm time of day, for the most part at least and th female wolf was quite content to sit and watch.
Her vivid green eyes flickered over the approaching blue and green form of the female teen, Fantasia's partner, a relative co-running this new pack alongside him. Chantily of course had heard her name, knew her to look upon her - but had yet gotten the chance to speak with her, not surprising considering the host of wolves the young pair had been thrown into controlling. It was no small group and their success thus far she commended them on.
Tera was far different from Fantasia, and if one didn't pick up on that right away the bounce in her step as she approached portrayed it quite vividly. Chantily had expected the teen to pass by and continue on whatever business she had be intent upon but when it became apparent that the young femme wished to speak with her, Chantily gave her her full attention. It was unusual she knew for a pair of teens to be alphas of a pack and it sometimes lent to some awkward moments, Chantily who valued the old style ways of respect and hierarchy often found herself uncomfortable when her head remained higher then that of her superiors for a lengthy amount of time - this was problematic when your superiors were a great deal smaller then yourself still. Chantily choose to solve this problem by laying down and thusly placing herself in the vulnerable position and merely hoped that Tera would receive the gesture in the way it was meant,as a sign of respect.
"That is not surprising considering the number of new ones you have to learn all at once" Chantily answered in a warm tone "I am Chantily"

Sure Tera knew deep down that it was quite different for others to be led by a group of teenagers. She was strong though, and unlike the normal teenager, she had grown rather quickly mentally. She was ready to lead, and she would be a good leader.
She could feel it deep within her heart..This pang of need. She wanted to be needed, and well.. Now that was an intense possibility. She grinned a little, her tail swaying side to side as she saw the other lay down.
She understood the need to show submission, but she had a feeling, this was something slightly different. Not that she minded really. She had always been the easy going one of the litter. Much unlike Fanta who tended to the technical side of things. Terabithia was in charge of her fellow wolves. She was the compassion within the pack. The warm heart that would keep the peace, so that Fanta wouldnt offend or run any of the others off. Not that he was that argumentitive.. But he was very steadfast in his beliefs. If you messed up, you had best come to Tera first. She was likely to be the easier going of the two.
"Chantily." She smiled widly.
"Its beautiful."
She looked around her, taking a seat and curling her tail around her paws. She loved it here..It was so pretty..
"I am Terabithia..Tera, if you like. Are you enjoying yourself?"
She asked, gazing around as if watching that of which Chantily had been watching moments before.

"My parents had a liking for pretty things" Chantily remarked in a slightly wry tone, and a flick of one white tipped ear, her parent's had been so wrapped up in pretty things and wanton desires that it had spelled the packs destruction. But such things were in the past and the buff colored female had no desire to bring such former feelings to her new home and so she shook her head slightly to rid her mind of these thoughts. Tera had meant the comment as a compliment she knew and Chantily tipped her head up to to look at the young teen for a few moments before flicking her gaze back to the rambling pack members.
"I thank you for the compliment, but you need no introduction Lady Tera, you are quite distinctive..both you and your fellow rose painted brethren" she remarked with a slight chuckle "Of course had you not been, such a gathering would not have come to your calling, It is a nice land...and a good cause lies at the heart of it so yes, I expect I can say I am enjoying myself" Chantly concluded.

She smiled at the pretty thing comment, giving an understanding nod. Though she could almost feel the ache at the word in Chantily. Something was wrong deep inside, and Tera could feel it. It made her chest tighten, and she cleared her throat a little.
She pushed past the thoughts once the other female did. If she didnt dwell, then maybe Tera shouldnt either. That would be rude to keep bringing it up.. And she knew how much her mother truly hated others being rude.
She blushed when the introduction went unneeded. She supposed she needed to remember that her being an Alpha, would make her name obvious. She smiled, chuckling a little in her embarrasment.
"Oh do excuse me. I keep forgetting that you guys dont need my name anymore. Mother always raised a proper girl."
She smiled warmly.
She wagged her tail, her head held high. She knew she had done a good job with her pack. Of course, she knew Fanta took the brunt of the pack work. Tera was more the compassionate leader, than she was the strict one.

Chantily had not meant to embarrass the young alpha with her comment, on the contrary she'd attempted to compliment her on commanding such a group as they - being well known and received by your peers was a good thing wasn't it? Well..as long as you didn't let it go completely to your head she concluded after a few moments thought. It seemed Tera wasn't one to take offense easily however, which made things a bit easier, gave Chantily more of a grasp on how her new leaders expected to be treated.
It had been a while since Chantily had belonged to a pack proper, true she had traveled for some time with her mentor - learned to fight for the good of wolf kind, to honor the forest and her betters...but it had hardly been a proper pack experience, though she wouldn't trade it for anything. "I am curious" She finally stated - deciding it best to just let the whole introduction fiasco slide by "What made you decide to bring a pack such as this together?" Chantily didn't peg the two teens to be your average power hungry types, and Fanta's words during her recruitment had led her to believe it had been a calling for him - she wondered if it was the same for Tera.

Fanta's dream, had been her own. She wanted to better the forest, and with so much dark energy out there.. She knew that someone was needed to fight the dark. She wanted to have knights and princesses, she wanted to live like a fairytale.. Though she knew that she could only recreate one to a certain extent.
She gave a soft smile, and thought about her answer before she spoke. She was usually very soft with her words, but she always had her thoughts well thought out before voicing them. It was something she was just good at doing.
"Fanta and I, grew up knowing we had a duty to the forest. It gave us food, and life. We felt that in order to show the darkness that there is some strength out there, that it was our duty to band brothers together for the good of wolfkind."
She smiled, and nodded again.
"It was a dream for us both. Not for the pack, but to create a safe haven, which has turned into a pack. We are quite happy with our lives.. We want to share that with everyone."
She explained, hoping she made the slightest bit of sense.

The she-wolfs head nodded slightly as she listened to Tera's words, it sounded like they were both of the same mind - even if their personalities and manners were vastly different. Well that was a good thing wasn't it? Ahe asked herself mentally...of course it was. It would mean the pack would function well as their leaders were of the same mind and goals.She had been lsightly worried upon learning Fantasia's partner in crime so to speak was his sister - Siblings as far as she recalled had a great tendency to argue and bicker. As far as she could tell however Fantasia and Terabithia seemed to get along fairly well. Tera's words had done alot to calm these worries and really Chantilly had to remind herself it wasn't her place to worry about such things anyways. She just had to do what she was told.
"That sounds like a pretty good reason to me" Chantily told her, giving the young wolf a warm look "It is good to find a place where others are willing to give and help rather then merely roll about concerned with nothing but their own selfish needs" She admitted

She frowned a bit at the last sentence and nodded.
"Yes, it is a shame that some wolves can be so very self-pleasing. You get nothing out of life, if you dont share the good things with your pack..With your family. Being selfish, gets you no where, and leaves you without a pack, without friends, and sometimes without family."
She nodded, and wagged her tail as she spoke. It was uplifting to hear that She and Fanta had done a good job in their plight for a pack. They had not been wrong in their hopes.. In fact, their hopes, had given others hope.
"You shall always be welcome here, Chantily, and I do hope that you find these lands to be everything you want, and need. Don't hesitate to come find me, if you feel somethings going wrong. Maybe you can be my ears sometimes."
She smiled, and nodded, before standing.
